My favorite boba milk tea place. I loooove their Panda drink (boba and jelly)! Plenty of parking and pricing is average.

In a shopping center that also has an Orobae and an Omomo across the street, competition for the best boba tea shop is tough. Gong Cha wins for me as being a Taiwanese chain helps bring it closer to the original taste of Taiwan Bubble Tea. Plus, you’ll never have to wait in incredibly long lines compared to Orobae or Omomo as the service is incredibly evening during peak hours.

Gong Cha is a large global boba tea shop that has several locations across the US. Stopped by this particular location in Irvine the other night due to easy access to the I-5 during a road trip... we were thirsty. We like getting drinks from Gong Cha due to the ability to customize the ice and sweetness level. More importantly, there is consistency in the taste no matter which chain you visit. This particular location is barer than the typical Gong Cha chain store, but the service is still top notch. Parking was easy as the shop is located in a strip mall.

Serving drinks just like back home. Friendly service. This brand is ubiquitous back in Korea...but obviously not so well known here.

Super reliable boba tea shop in Irvine, going here for way more time than I want to remember Their creme brulee tea is surprisingly good I also enjoy their lemon wintermelon with basil seeds a lot Don't like their fruit teas though

Good boba. Just the right amount of chewy. Star jelly tastes like peach. Tea is flavorful. My time is more valuable than a line at other places. Go here.

There's a reason the lines at Orobae and Omomo are so long even though there's a Gong Cha just a few minutes' walk away in the same plaza. This place is a nice option if you're in a hurry or don't want to wait in line for so long, but I've had better quality Gong Cha elsewhere.

First time here, the attentiveness of the staff is amazing. I assume they manage at most 3 tables at a time and constantly moving to make sure their tables are covered, cooked well, and most of all not burnt. A very good first time experience. The wait was 30 less than estimate, but ymmv.

This Gong Cha usually doesn't have a long wait, but the parking lot can be pretty full because it is by a supermarket as well as a Boiling Point, and the parking spaces are extremely small. The drinks here are good. They offer plenty of toppings and customization options for sugar and ice, and offer lids for their foam drinks similar to Happy Lemon. You can seal it and use a straw if you prefer to shake and mix your drink though. There isn't that much seating indoors, only about 4 tables.

I had high expectations for this boba place since it's an authentic boba drink straight from Taiwan. However, the drinks were just average in my opinion. There are many other boba places that offer equivalent or better drinks around the area. Customer service was decent. The staff was friendly and offered to correct anything of the drinks don't come out in your favor. I did notice that there were many new employees under training. There were many customers so expect long wait times. I would probably come back again when I get tired of other boba places in the area and when the hype wears out.

Super delicious tea. Best Thai tea I've had in a while. They are also eco friendly and used paper straws. 10/10 experience. Will be coming again and again :D

This is one of our top boba shops. Our favorite is the earl grey tea. It’s super delicious and refreshing. Also the strawberry matcha was yummy too. Gong Cha is now a regular visit for us.
