The meal was awesome. Mahi Mahi prepared the 'lazy way' was by far the best I have had over the past10 days here in the Keys. And the view from the deck was spectacular. We had a great waitress. She was accommodating, personable and friendly.
This was one of “The Best” restaurants I have ever eaten in!! Six of us, everyone had something different...all of it superb!! Great service, friendly staff and great atmosphere! Highly recommend it! We will go back while we’re here 😍

We were seated immediately without a reservation. We had appetizers and entrees. The calamari was very good, with a light batter and not overcooked. The entrees were good, generously sized.
The yellowtail gus and the crab & asparagus salad were the favorites. We didn’t get to dessert. Maybe on the next visit.
We went here based on Zomato reviews and boy are we glad!!! Even though it was raining and the covers were down over the window on the outside dining area, it was still a great place with fast, friendly service and delicious food. The bread basket had a little loaf of banana nut bread that was so good!!!! Then came the HUGE shrimp cocktail!!! I ordered the stuffed chicken breast and could only eat half with the little red potatoes. It was so good my hubs had for breakfast next day. He had the scallops and sweet potato fries. It was all good and I would love to go back on a pretty day to sit with the covers off the windows or on the beach!!!
Best oysters Rockefeller of my life! The views and the food are equally matched! Shrimp peel and eat right from the sea! Hogfish sandwich to die for. Fries ok but the seafood is on point!! Best early birthday girl ever!
This place has a much more extensive menu than the typical keys restaurant. Food was delicious and the portions were large. If you make reservations far enough in advance you can get a table on the beach, with the bonus of having a front row seat for the live entertainment.
Probably one of the best restaurants en route Key West. Sitting neatly at the shore it is a place with an amazing ambiance. We had to wait for around 30 minutes for our turn but it wasn't a problem given the amazing sea breeze and the person playing live country music on his guitar.
The food was amazing, which started with their breads. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. In short one of the must see places while travelling to Key West.
Great food!! Great view. My wife had some huge jumbo fried shrimp that she loved. Had a live singer outside that was enjoyable to listen to. Service was not bad, but could be a lot better.
Great view, come early to get table with a view. Start with a cup of conch chowder, then get the fresh catch grilled with the key lime butter on the side and finish with the key lime pie.
The best thing about this restaurant is the amazing view you'll have, especially at sunset. The food was not bad at all, and a pretty decent size. I had the churrasco steak, and highly recommend. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and has an island vacation feel to it. They have a very wide selection of food, and I can't complain about the price. Overall had a great experience and would definitely come back.
Absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent and food was everything I hoped it would be. Lobster tail split with a huge helping of crab stuffing. The only disappointment was $10.00 for a glass of wine.

The view and atmosphere alone are worth coming for seriously, but the quality will keep you coming back forever. I am a food snob, very hard to please but the food here was absolutely amazing quality, the tuna, clams, oysters and shrimp our party had were all perfect, It literally could not have been better. Several people were taking pictures of their meals at tables around us. I highly recommend eating downstairs on the water. Enjoy
A regular stop for us. We make Lazy Days a regular stop when we are in the Keys. Today was a mostly cloudy day, but it was warm, so we ate out on the beach for lunch. My wife had the Lazy Days Chicken with a side salad and fries. She was happy. I had the Blackened Tuna Sandwich off their specials list, cooked rare. A very nice piece of blackened seared tuna, cooked rare, with sushi style garnishes. The wasabi was strong. It was very good. Service was decent, the setting is great.
The mediocre food and live music is worth the incredibly beautiful setting on the beach overlooking the ocean.
THE BEST food, view & service. We were a large group of 8 & tried the conch ceviche, escargot, mozzarella sticks, shrimp cocktail & raw oysters & were all excellent. I had the lobster, shrimp & scallops w/ pasta & it was exquisite. My boyfriend had the chrrasco steak (so we had the surf & turf) & it was cooked to perfection. The view was wonderful & the ambience was perfect. We had lunch on the upstairs terrace overlooking the ocean. We drove down from Miami & stopped on our way to Key West. I must say we were all so pleased with our meal, the view & service that we will all be back again. Without a doubt the best Keys meal experience ever. Give it 8 thumbs up.
Good food & beautiful view. Definitely ask to sit outside! I had a salad with crab and asparagus; the crab serving was very generous, and the dressing was delicious.
Worth the Drive. We had family visiting from Chicago, my husband & I had never been to Lazy Days but decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. Because we had an 8 month old baby with us we stayed downstairs, we got a table right by the ocean.
Some members of the party had never tasted stone crabs, conch etc. We started with the stone crab, conch fritters & the crab & artichoke dip everything was delish. For entrees, my husband settled for the coconut shrimp, I had the grilled hogfish & our nephew & his wife settled for the grouper lorenzo. Everything was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Of course no key experience is complete until you have the Key Lime Pie & Lazy Days have one of the best. We enjoyed the experience and are sure to comeback.

Very good, we unfortunately went on a day that was raining so we sat inside. They were very accommodating and friendly, the service was good. The fried lionfish sandwich was fantastic!!!
Relaxing. This restaurant is the kind of restaurant that I could move next door to - cold beer, fried sea creatures, and seating on the deck. Solid food and reasonable enough prices that you could justify coming to all the time.

Not Too Shabby. Lazy Days has consistently good food and you can get any of their special preparations even if they aren't listed for the day. I've never been disappointed in the quality of food there (although if you order something that obviously isn't local, which way too many people do who don't know what they're doing, you will be).
HOWEVER, if you are a tourist (and sometimes a local... which has happened to us recently), they have been known to short you on the fish you bring in if you cook your own catch. Granted, this does happen at a lot of places, but it still is a huge letdown when you can tell that the amount clearly is less than the five pounds you weighed out ahead of time for the entire party. Also, depending on your server, the service can be ungodly slow. There are a few seasoned waiters and waitresses we always hope to get and are excellent, but some of their younger, newer staff is just plain poor.

Relaxing Atmosphere and Good Food. This was our first stop in the Key's and turned out to be a great way to start out our visit. It's easy to miss but it's just about the last stop on the left as you leave Lslamorada heading to Key West.
It's basically two stories with the bottom level being open for storm surges and the top level more tradiational but with great viiews of the water. Thel lower level is more relaxed and a fun place to be and it's right next to a small beach that has been decorated with nautical items like anchors, chains etc. The decorations add a nice touch.
We were seated very quickly although we did have to wait a bit for a member of the wait staff to show up. Once it did, service was very good from that point.
For lunch, I had a dozen oyyters on the half shell and the fried Lobster Caesar Salad. The oyster's were excellent considering the time of year and the sauce was a good compliment. The grarted horseradish was nice and pungent. I had never had a fried Lobster Caesar Salad but I must say, I was very favorablily impressed.
My wife chose Conch Fritter's with Potato Salad as a side. The Conch Fritter's were excellent although the Potato Salad was runny and lacked any distinct flavor. Nevertheless, she was very pleased with the Conch Fritters. Both the Conch Fritters and my Caesar Salad was more that enough for a good sized meal so excellent value here.
Atmosphere as described is excellent, service is generally fair however but agian, wth the exception of the Potato Salad, the food is great. It's a good value for your money and I would recommend to anyone.
Amazing food and great wait staff. They have the best banana bread I've ever had. They know how to do it right in every aspect of the restaurant. If you are looking for a great atmosphere and some delicious fresh seafood, look no further!
Best Shrimp. I love shrimp. Had the large fried shrimp. My plate was filled with what looked like breaded pork chops. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, fresh, and tasty...some of the best I have ever had. My wife's chicken cordon bleu (yep, I drove 3000 miles so my wife could eat chicken) was terrible. The chicken was stuffed with sandwich ham and came served with brown gravey. She didn't eat much dinner. We would go back in a heartbeat and eat the shrimp.
The service was fine until we finished eating. Couldn't get a check because our server was so busy. They would not allow me to pay the bill at the counter, so we ended up waiting and waiting for the server to bill us.Considering the overall experience, I would suggest going here for the shrimp, but be prepared to deal with the service.
Excellent Restaurant. Lazy Days is one of my favorite restaurants in the Keys. Newly local and a self-proclaimed foodie, both Keys locations rock. I live closer to Marathon where you can dine either outside or in; it's on the water. We dine here with neighbors, family and friends - the food never disappoints. The menu has many offerings to satisfy each diner. A bit on the pricey side, but if its good they will come ... and we do again and again. Highly recommend.
We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner here! The service was incredible. My drink never went empty and our waiter was around so much that he popped out of nowhere to bless my wife when she sneezed. All of our appetizers and entres were outstanding and we left completely satisfied, after a great piece of key lime pie. I would and will recommend this restaurant.

Does not disappoint. Been going here for well over 10 years and Lazy Days is consistently a good performer. Went with a large group on Sunday June 3 and everyone's meal was as good or better than expected. Lazy Days is one of the few restaurants that has hogfish on the menu; the Hogfish Lazy Days style does not disappoint, 3 of us ordered this meal and shared with the rest of our party. It ended up being everyone's favorite. The teenage boys had cracked conch sandwiches prepared lazy days style, and once again it met expectations. conch fritter appetizers were also enjoyed by all.
My Garlic Mashed potatos were among the best I've ever had. Mojitos were excellent.
Great restaurant, awesome view, good services. Dinner is on the pricey side; in the past we've usually gone for lunch which is more affordable yet still offers a wide selection of choices including hogfish, cracked-conch, etc. . If you're going for dinner definitely call ahead for reservations.

Just had the best dinner in a long time. Valentines night, no reservation and they sat us on the beach for a sunset dinner. The food was superb and huge portions! You get the best bang for your buck. The food was fresh, well seasoned and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I will definitely come down to the keys just to eat here.
Great entree, but..... Had the yellowfin snapper sandwich, it was amazing! I am fish snob as well. However, my coleslaw was a bucket of water, my pickle appeared to be 3 weeks old and dry, and the service was fair at best. Would go back for beers, sandwich and fries.
We had a great meal after a rather rude welcome by the "host" Andre. Getting past that our server was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I had Mahi laZy style and my husband had a whole yellow tail snapper fried. I thought it looked really gross, but he loved it. The Pina colada was good too.
Great place to have your catch cooked! Get some of your fish cooked "Tropical," w/ mango, pineapple, papaya, banana & coconut milk. Yumm!
As a Local. This is a favorite. Try the "Lazy Days" Preparation on yellow tail. It is out of hand! We visit more often for lunch. We get to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and not worry with the dinner crowed. Also, they do a top-notch hook- and-cook. If you're planning to go for dinner it's best to make a reservation.
Very good seafood! Portions are a little big so come on an empty stomach. Everything on the menu is worth the price. Simply the best.

AWESOME...AWESOME...AWESOME!!!. One of our favorite places down there. Definately eat there every time we visit! It's right on the ocean, and they'll cook anything you catch, and you can split a plate (since they're portions are so large) with no hassel! LOVE this place!!!!

Fabulous, Fresh Seafood. We ended up at Lazy Days after a recommendation from a fishing guide, and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was really good and I would highly recommend the grilled seafood platter (shrimp, scallops, fish, and crab). We will absolutely go back when we visit the keys again!
This place was reccomended by our hotel over Ziggy and Mad Dog's, and I think it was a great choice. The food was excellent, service great, and the mojitos second to none. My only advice/ slight gripe: the wait station is in the middle of the main dining room, so you are right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I'm glad the wait staff is so on the ball, but try to sit on one of the patios because all that action around you makes you feel a little rushed.
Best Place in the Keys. Weather you are staying in Islamorada or just passing through, If you don't dine here then you have wasted your time. A Plus service, food and if you can dine on the balcony even better. MY vote for one of the best restaurants in the Keys. You can''t go wrong with ANYTHING you order. Scenic Dining. Loved this place! Wonderful scenic view and balcony dining. The food was good and atmosphere casual. Beach attire seemed appropriate. Good, prompt service.
Excellent seafood. Entrees between $25-$30. Had a fresh dolphin fillet and an excellent soup. The drinks are good too. The terrace overlooks the ocean, right on top of a small beach. The terrace decor is not great, but the view is quite nice, even at night if the moon is shining.
Best food atomosphere combo in the Keys!. I am a local and when friends come into town, I always take them to Lazy Days. The food is outstanding and the view is worth a million bucks. Chef Lupe is hopefully bring his award winning menu to Marathon soon.

Worth its name and more. We went there for lunch and were delighted by selection and quality of the food (not just all fried fish) and definitely pleased by the breezy, open dining area (it was the middle of July). The waitstaff was very attentive and pleasant, a big plus in our books. Definitely one of those "we'll return" places.

Really casual atmosphere. gorgeous views. personable/friendly/attentive waiter (awesome, really.) one of the best meals we had all week! shrimp fra diablo was outstanding along with the grouper (and feta) dish. Nicest restaurant we've been to so far. Great view of the ocean and comfortable outside and inside dining. Extensive menu with updated daily specials. Amounts of food were huge and we noticed numerous people left with to-go boxes (we did as well)! Would recommend for more up-scale dining experience.
Most Excellent Lunch Hang!. Sorry we only went for Lunch! We were treated beautifully, our waitperson, Tim, was fantastic. When I ordered iced tea, he brought a whole pitcher. How's that for planning ahead?
If Hogfish is available, I gotta have it and they had it. The sauteed hogfish with Key lime butter sauce was heaven in a size XXL. The fried oyster sandwich was good (big, too). Caesar salad, small, was enough for two and tasty.

A lot of restaurants that have as good of a view as this place are usually pretty mediocre in my experience; they try to make up for bad food with a great view. Thankfully, this place breaks that stereotype. From the appetizers to the entrees, and everything in between, I had a great experience here.
The service was great. Our waiters were very attentive and made an effort to fill up our waters frequently and make sure we were happy with the food we received. And we were. Starting off, we ordered the Alligator- which was awesome. It was my first trying it, and hopefully, it isn’t my last. With a light, crunchy breading, and covered with cheese, peppers, tomatoes, and sauce, it was a sight to behold. The alligator itself was succulent and flavorful; I could almost feel the flavors bursting on my tongue. Our other appetizer was the Conch Fritters- another very solid option. Although not as good as the alligator, I still had a great time eating them. They disappeared incredibly quickly; we ate and left no crumbs. Finally, our third appetizer (we were a group of 7 hungry people) was the Baked Brie. I believe this was exclusive to the Thanksgiving menu, but I am unsure. Either way, it was pretty good. I am not a huge cheese person, but it was still pretty good. If you like cheese, this is the appetizer for you. Even if you don’t, the apples, grapes, crackers, and sauce all add to a cornucopia of excellence.
Moving on: the entrees. Honestly, I do not really remember much about them. All I know is I ordered the hogfish (another Thanksgiving exclusive), which was awesome. It was also my first time havin hogfish, and it was great. I would definitely order it again if the situation arrived.
Overall, my visit to Lazy Days Restaurant was a great visit. The beautiful view combined with the fresh air and delectable food provided for an unmatched experience that cannot be met anywhere else.
Stopped here on the way to Key West and this place did not disappoint! The views, the food, it was all so good. I would recommend anyone to come here. It was so good we stopped again on the way back to Ft. Lauderdale! I will definitely be back. P.S. The banana bread was amazing!

Really want to put 5 stars but for now just 4. My second visit here and the food was consistently fine for everyone in our party. Our table was so wobbly and twisting and there was a napkin under the leg. The table next door was the same. Why not just fix it? SeminoIe Hogfish dish was the favorite today. The keylime sauce was light and complimented the light fish. Be forewarned this is a huge dish that could feed two people. I had an interesting salad called the Key West Salad. It had the healthy stuff I wanted (spinach and fruit) topped by fried coconut shrimp and two huge fried mozzarella cheese sticks. The coconut shrimp had a light coconut flavor that did not take away from the shrimp, however the batter is fairly thicker than what I am used to. Tell the chef to skip the cheese and you have a perfect dish. The cheese breading tasted spoiled but I was not in the mood to complain. The beach scenery was way too relaxing. The blackened tuna was light and also very filling enough for two. Pricing may sound expensive but the meals are filling. Warm banana bread once again was great. We had extra to pack for home. The key lime pie was the worst in the Keys that we threw it away. The crust smelled and tasted like used oil from a chicken fryer. The texture of the cream was grainy and the flavor was weak. Very casual place where you can sit right on the beach.
A little pricey, but the food is top notch. Staff is always friendly, nice laidback atmosphere, great views since it’s right on the beach. We’ve been going to Lazy Days for years, never had a bad experience. Love this restaurant!
Wow! The food was amazing the views were amazing. I ate a fried whole snapper and it was the best fried snapper I had ever had so flavorful yet not overly seasoned and I also had a side of squash that was also delicious. Very pricey $$$, but worth trying out.
MUST STOP HERE!! Absolutely fantastic restaurant with quality drinks and fish sandwiches. I got the fried yellow tail served lazy days style with fries and a pickle! I also got a Hemingway and it was super refreshing! I would eat here as much as I could! Service was great and fast and professional. Parking is a little tricky if busy.
The French onion soup was delicious. Stuffed shrimp was ok. The crab topping was very good but the shrimp were small and overcooked. The bourbon steak was ok the sauce was too sweet. The hogfish was excellent. Sergio was our server and he was great. The view was wonderful.

We stopped in on the way out for a quick snack. Wonderful spot with a great view looking out at Alligator Reef in the Atlantic. Great location next to Bud N Mary’s. Service was great at the downstairs bar. The upstairs restaurant looks good but we didn’t eat up there. They are installing a raw bar and it’s an open kitchen which is a neat vibe. We will be back again. The conch ceviche was good but I’d probably pass on the lazy conch next time even though it was delicious, just a little rich for my diet not on vacation.

Had a really good mahi sandwich, grilled. My wife had the quesadilla, it is big and chock full of protein selection. Bartender was friendly, made us a frozen mudslide from scratch and a frozen rum runner from scratch.
