Love the Sushi here! Same great quality as when they were in Idaho Falls at Bushido’s! Have never been disappointed! It’s a party of flavor in your mouth with every bite!
Our server was very nice and enjoyable to talk to. The food was delicious and fresh. Bathroom was disgusting, and decor was meh.
Favorite sushi place ever! If you like spicy sushi there is no place that can compete with their heat with the levels ranging from 1 to 80.
I was SO disappointed when Bushido closed down in Idaho Falls! I’m from Los Angeles & since having moved to IF 5 years ago, it has been extremely challenging to find a restaurant with the level of quality that is so readily available out there. This place had it & I’m so sorry I didn’t get the opportunity to experience more of it. The food was great, sushi was fresh & not stingy with the portions at all! The owner came out & spoke with us, as my lunch partner was a regular there.
Not really sure why this location has received some bad reviews, maybe an off night? I will definitely look forward to stopping by this location next time I’m in town!
Amazing ambiance, great food. Restaurant gives a very true to form feel way far from Japan. Many negative reviews for this restaurant are unfortunately left by tourists not realizing the closest ocean is roughly 700 miles away, and looking at reviews left by Local Guides and locals give nothing but praise. All three of our meals were excellent and authentic, very typically Japanese fried and breaded meats, rice and noodle bowls, and every possible combination of sushi. Servers were prompt and helpful, presentations was great. Selection of drinks, especially sake, is impressive for a mountain locked sushi joint. Would highly recommend for anyone in Jackson Hole who simply cannot eat another Bison steak or Burger.
Amazing!! Short wait. Friendly staff. Out waiter took the time to explain some flavors thoroughly. The sushi and hibachi was very flavorful. I have been to places with the same quality that have been far too expensive. this place was definitely worth the spend, although it was relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere was lovely with relaxing music accompanied by a relaxing waterfall/ pond. Highly recommended.
This sushi place was pretty great. They were accommodating and made sure my sushi was gluten free and also brought me gf soy sauce. I had a rock and roll and a zen roll and enjoyed them both. We did think it was odd that no one else was eating there at noon on a Saturday, but we had a good experience, so no complaints.

My family came here for two separate occasions. The first one was mediocre, and was on a weekday. We had for the open grill, which was only on weekends, we found out. We ordered shrimp rolls, Squid rolls and various other rolls. They were good, but not the best. The next time, we went on a weekend. They were having open grill, and the man put on an amazing show, putting onions on fire and juggling a bowl on a spatula. It was amazing and the food was wonderful. It is expensive, however. If you can overlook that on a weekend, though, you have an amazing meal for the whole family to enjoy.
Outstanding sushi. The service was not terrible and they were very, very helpful. They catered to my laundry list of i-don't-eat-that, completely with ease. Beautiful environment even with the random pop music.
1 sake, 1 beer, 2 rolls, 1 appetizer, and tip =69.00. I live in Jackson so it's what we expected. We will definitely go back.
My wife and I went on a date here about a month back, we ordered a spicy roll (the name eludes me) and we ordered some of the hibachi as well. The food was fantastic, the sushi we had was absolutely delicious. Being from the east coast I have had fresh sushi, and have been picky ever since. But we will definitely return to Bushido's for the food, the hibachi was absolutely wonderful as well.
On top of the great food, the way everything is set up had a great mood to it. we sat in the booths, next to a small koi pond. Which needless to say, was amazing.
For our server we had this younger girl, with the friendliest attitude and a spunky flair for fun. It was one of the best dates we have been on and will definitely return. I highly recommend this place.
Love the food! I drive an hour and a half just for the sushi! Not to mention they actually serve Unagi, which is hard to prepare and melts in your mouth. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Thanks to Steve for always making our visit an experience.

Really delicious, a bit expensive but since there are not many alternatives in Idaho Falls, it is definitely worth it.
Sushi rolls are really delicious. While they have all the traditional flavors, there are also some cool ones. My favorite one is the spider roll. The hibachi is great here as well. The service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the waiters are quite nice and pleasant.
The ambience is a bit crowded, and could do with some fixing. There is a huge koi pond in the middle of the room that gets a bit dirty. I don’t know if it was a one-time thing though.
Other than that, I would come back.
Always impressed when the wait staff and kitchen go way, way above and beyond to please the customer! The Sushi was amazing, the service was First Rate! I look forward to returning next time I'm in town! I hope you have the level 100 hot sauce ready for me when I do!
My wife and I love to sneak away on mini dates to local sushi bars when exploring new towns and cities. Jackson was no exception to the rule and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The owner greeted us warmly at the door and quickly got us settled in his quaint and comfortable establishment. The decor was nice, not too over the top as I’ve seen in some places. The food and drinks arrived shortly after and it was all delicious! We ordered the agedashi tofu, seaweed salad, shoyu ramen and a tuna avocado rice bowl. The food was fresh and flavourful across the board with perfect portion sizes. We’ve been to Japan several times and can say the food was presented and tasted just as we would expect! 🇯🇵
This is a terrific Japanese food restaurant in Jackson, WY. The food was excellent and the ambiance takes you to Japan. The service was excellent as well, and after I left a favorite hat on a table there, Steve took pains to get it mailed it to me and he checked afterward to make sure I had it. They really care about their customers.
This little place is a hidden gem for Jackson Hole. My wife had the pork tonkatsu and she said it was delicious, cooked beautifully. I had the chicken Teriyaki and it was delicious, chicken was well cooked but not dry for white chicken meat. I must say the rice was excellent, very moist and fluffy. This is a great place I would come back to.
