Best Bar in the area that we stayed in... Not that there is a massive selection in this area. The food was not for me... The French fries tasted like they were fried in old old oil. The bartender was nice. Cheapish drinks.
This is a nice local hangout we were lucky to find. I came to Jacksonville to visit my granddaughter and happened upon this place. Very diverse and friendly my granddaughter just 21 enjoyed it and I am 67 and had a blast. A big shout out to Cheyenne & Rachel tending the bar and Laura tending to the music. Everyone in the place seemed to be having a blast we were there from about 7 PM till midnight. Would definitely go back Friday night karaoke and wish I was here Wednesday wings 1/2 price and they are as good or better then all the reviews. We ordered extra crispy they came out perfect still juicy in the middle and yummy. We got mild with a side of hot and the hot was not extreme and taste good. Enjoy! OH And beer was 2.75 a bottle some days and nights it is the daily special and cheeper!
My go to bar. Lady behind the bar recognized me after my 2nd visit and knew what I drank. Always get good service even on their busiest days. Always treated with respect.
The BEST sports bar in town. Family owned and operated. When you come in you're treated like family.
We were only in town for a few days. Staff and owner made us feel at home. Very friendly atmosphere. We end up going two nights that we were intown.

My 5 stars is primarily for prior-to-10 pm hours, especially on weekends. Following 10 pm, I give 3 stars.
I'm a huge Packers fan, and found Spanky's by happy accident about 10 years ago - I love it; it's the only bar I visit. The drink prices are good (Coors Light is only $2!) and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. A huge bonus is Angela (the greatest bartender *ever*) has remained ever since I began going. It's the most perfect place to catch Green Bay games.
My 3 stars for after 10 pm is due to the fact that Spanky's has undergone major crowd changes in the past several years. I'm 51 now, and when I began going, Spanky's was (with the exception of younger USMC patrons) primarily patronized by a 30-35+ crowd - a warm, friendly crowd that could drink & get rowdy while maintaining a basic respect for others. It was a terrific, relaxed, friendly place to spend a whole evening.
Several years, however, the after 10 pm crowd devolved, bringing in what I can only describe as a "gangster" element -- a rude, vulgar, loud, and disrespectful younger crowd. As a result, I go infrequently and always leave early. I truly hope one day my favorite bar will return to what it was.
I absolutely love this sports bar it’s very welcoming and the drinks are well priced and delicious. This visit I tried three different things on the menu and all three were phenomenal. Hands-down will revisit for more considering the menu Had a wide variety.

Probably the best wings I've had in Jacksonville. Hooters, Buffalo wild wings. Wingzone, Wingstop don't hold no weight towards them. Definitely my new wing place!
Great food and being from Milwaukee I love the fact that it's a Green bay Packer bar. And did I mention great bar food? Ive had the wings, shrimp, and burger and have never been disappointed. They even play the games on a projector screen and many tvs to watch your team, plus they have the NFL package.
Went Saturday night. Very diverse crowd of people! DJ played a variety of music, it was really nice! The bartender was kept very busy! I'm not a beer drinker, so I wanted a Smirnoff Green Apple but they only had original and she said "I can make it green apple" & WOW! It was DELICIOUS! I'm going to have to stop buying the ready made green apple & mix it like she did! My friend had a bottle of Bud Light, it was $2! My drink was $4.
Place is small, & "worn" but it was nice. They do have a place to sit outside. They have pool tables as well. Oh, and if you're a Green Bay Packers fan - this place is for you! For a little "hole in the wall" place, it was a nice visit. Next time I want to try the "grill" part!

Great spot to hang out with friends for a couple of drinks and a great atmosphere. It's a bit snug for me but still a nice place to chill and have a good time. I hear their happy hour is pretty good to. The drink prices aren't to bad either.
Great hometown bar. Bartenders are awsome and the new owners are doing all the right things to keep the Spankys tradition alive while also bringing this once "hole-in-the-wall " bar into the new Era.
