Family friendly atmosphere, everybody is really friendly and they do their best to get your order right. I'm very specific and particular about what I order, and they always get my order correct! You have the option of ordering to-go or dine-in and the food usually arrives very quickly, even when customizing your order. The quality of ingredients is superb... it is the best Asian restaurant in Jacksonville!

Had dinner at Rice Bowl for the first time this evening. This is the best Asian restaurant we have ever been to, and we go to a lot of them. The food was exceptional and freshly cooked. The atmoshere is very classy with cloth tablecloths and fresh flowers, a nice touch. The waitress was wonderful. I have never rated a restaurant before, but took the time to rate this one because it such a fine place to eat.

Amazing food that is all available to be made with special requests/ food allergies in mind. Food is served quickly, but you never feel rushed and everything from appetizers to dessert is very yummy. The service and servers are amazing, and always kind. They remember and get to know repeat customers, and it's always a pleasure eating here.

Our first time at the Rice Bowl. Be assured, it won't be our last time. The food was the best Chinese food we have ever had, outside of our trip to China. The owner takes ur order and helps to serve it. We are so impressed that we will travel from Fruit Cove to this Restaurant on Beach Blvd again and again. They even change the White linen table cloth between each seating. Out of 5 stars, we give it 10+++++ Stars.

The family staff was pleasant and fast! They weren’t kidding about how fresh and healthy everything was prepared. I had the Tom Kai Gai Thai coconut soup and was one of the best I had. The Korean Seafood soup was amazing... big chunks of scallop, shrimp and a lobster tail in a wonderful broth for $16... lit could feed 2! We also had the stir fried Korean noodles. I was expecting traditional Korean Jap chae but it was so fresh, vegetables cooked perfectly.., with a little soy and sesame oil from the kitchen it was perfect. I’m coming back for the sizzling Mongolian beef!

They made what we wanted shrimp and vegetables, which wasn't on the lunch menu. Gave us lunch prices and it was delicious!

The clear soup didn't have quite as generous a portion of fried onions as your average sushi place, but still pretty good tasting. Their egg roll was basic but tasted fresh, came with a couple nice sauces. The shrimp Pad Thai: wow. I'm writing this part of the review in between bites because it's very hot (Fahrenheit), but it tastes delicious. I did not pay much for this plate and it is so well prepared and the flavors are fresh and blend so well! I chose a 3/10 for spiciness and the spice hasn't really registered, so if you like it spicy, try 5 and above. Edit: the heat builds, but not so much. Hot Cheetos have more heat. Essentially, this is a great meal at an honest affordable price for what I got. Those three items were enough for me to have to force the last of the shrimp down at the end. I'm very pleased and will be back.

Everything came out hot, fresh and delicious. This is some of the best Asian food I’ve had in many years. We came for the lunch special on a Saturday. The service was impeccable. I look forward to my next trip here to try a different meal. I had the General Tao’s meal. The Jasmine hot tea was good.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great people! We had an interesting experience on our very first visit. Someone had a medical emergency and the people who work there were Johnny on the spot to help out. The food is ALL FRESH and DELICIOUS!! They make their own hot mustard and duck sauce (which is impressive!!) I will most definitely be coming back. Not only for the delicious food but also for the good hearted and kind people who run the place. Conveniently located and open late on weekends, this is the place to go for an expanded Asian menu!! Try the drunken noodles and the Tom Yum soup!!

Since relocating, this was the one and only Asian restaurant we found that compared to back home. We were regulars. Fried rice, egg rolls, chicken entrees were consistently good. Even the recent increase in menu prices did not scare us away. I am sad they permanently closed.

We are so sad to hear of Rice Bowl's closing. You have been our favorite Chinese restaurant for the last 4 years. The quality of your food far exceeds any other local Chinese place by a long shot. Thank you for the many great meals over the years, you will be missed.

Was looking for a pan-Asian restaurant that had some “traditional” American Chinese food. Rice bowl fit the bill with offerings like General Tsos chicken. I’ve tried what was supposedly the highest rated General Tsos on the east coast and this was was a super close second, if not better. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and sticky without being too drenched in sauce. The vegetables were cooked right to the point of perfection. I also ordered hibachi chicken which was also super good (preferred the GTC.) Got extra veggies in both and as you can see it was a huge amount.

This is a great mom and pop authentic cuisine...very good portions, freshly prepared and will prepare to your taste (ie spicey, mild, not spicey). When here is know where to go to get really good Chinese cuisine.👍🏾😊

On Wed 1/17/23 we ordered take out and I got shrimp and scallops spicey(it’s one of the featured dinners) and it was absolutely delicious. By far the best I have ever had. Keep up the good work.

I order here all the time. The food is fabulous and the owners take great pride in the dishes. They use quality ingredients. The shrimp isn’t tiny very nice. We always order shrimp fried rice extra extra shrimp it runs little over 20 bucks. packed with large shrimp worth every penny. This place is a gem of Jacksonville

Exactly as expected for Chinese take out, but have to say I was impressed they could make such a variety of Asian cuisine well! Drunken noodles, Indian Red Curry and Mongolian tofu were all winners. We’ll be back.
