Very modern atmosphere. Rolls were not skimpy and ingredients were fresh. This was a spectacular experience from appetizer to dessert. Highly recommended!!!
Great sushi, hibachi and teriyaki! Service a bit slow on the first visit. Second visit much better! Will be back for more!
Just outside Jacksonville with easy access from I10, this gem was hidden in a small strip mall. You're welcomed with a cool interior with muted lights. Good sized walkways separate the central tables, one wall of low backed booths and another of high backed booths. Recessed hidden lighting and a lovely fiber-optic chandelier compose the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
We had the tuna tataki for an appetizer followed by the steak Bento for me, and two sushi rolls for him. Not my favorite miso soup though still very good. The Dinosaur roll was definitely delicious! 😋 perfectly balanced in both flavor and texture!
Everyone there was sweet, polite and welcoming. This spot is going on my travel list for future stops.
I a cold day I went there for a 🍜, I chose seafood Ramen. It was delicious and the presentation made it to look delicious and tasty.
This was our first time here at Hokkaido! It was delicious. We tried their new ramen soup & some sushi rolls. It was very yummy & a clean restaurant. The indoor Christmas decor was refreshing & the restrooms were clean. We enjoyed the service & all the employees were VERY nice & hospitable! My son made a mess eating his rice & they were super nice about cleaning it. I'm very thankful for great service & care of their customers. Thank you & Merry Christmas! We will be visiting again. We spent about $30-$35 for the soup & sushi dinner roll special.

Went there for dinner tonight. Service was good sushi was excellent. We all very much enjoyed it. We had a party of 6 so they automagically added a 15 percent tip. That cost the waitress like 10 percent because we all would have tipped a lot more

Very nice Japanese restaurant. The inside was exceptionally clean and modern. It has neon (or could be LED) lighting effects that make the inside snap. The service was fantastic. As far as the food, I can only comment on the sushi, which was excellent.

I have decided that this is my, by far, absolute favorite oriental restaurant. I like to get the ginger salad, the clear soup, a fried house roll, and fried ice cream. That is some really great comfort food right there.
Hokkaido is always a lovely place to go. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but the staff and food are always so lovely that it's worth the wait. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville!

Out of all the Japanese restaurants in Jacksonville I have been to, this is by far the best. This is not my first time here. The food is always amazing and the staff is pleasant. The owner is always checking in on each table and makes sure everything is up to a high standard. He obviously takes pride in his work and it shows. I will keep coming back here.
Great atmosphere! The food was served in random order. My daughter ate her dinner and then nibbled on edamame appetizer while we waited for my ramen. Overall the food was delicious. The restaurant was very busy with what seemed like locals, so despite some bad reviews, worth trying!
