Delicious flavors! I got the bourbon pecan and it was sooooo good. Staff were very friendly. Little more pricey than other stores, but well worth it

I always enjoy having their ice cream. It's pricey but definitely worth it. I usually get an affogato with a scoop of ice cream. My fav flavors are parent trap and triple vanilla.

Excellent Customer service from Glenna, she was very resourceful in the flavors of each icecream, popsicles and even the pints. They’re fresh and very delicious. I loved the key lime zest

Great ice cream. Cool environment with some cool artwork outside. We were able to bring both of our toddlers and large family with little issue.

My second time to Mayday in Jacksonville Florida, and there will be more to come. Simply the most creamy and flavorful ice cream you could wish for. I had a waffle cone with 2 flavors: triple vanilla and coffee & donuts. May I say wow. Support a local Florida owned and operated business. Check out Mayday Ice Cream.

Eclectic location with delicious ice cream. Has a very friendly staff, who was patient and let us try many different unique flavors. A proper value for the quality home made waffles, cones, and delicious ice creams and sorbets. We enjoyed the unique location near the historic train station/ tracks. And loved the outdoors local art collection. Would definitely frequent again.

Amazing ice cream. Came on a Saturday night and there wasn’t too much of a crowd at all. Got the small sizes and they were plenty filling. Not the largest variety, but they come with sprinkles and a cookie and is some of the most rich ice cream I’ve ever had. Plenty of parking in the back, which is convenient, and lots of seats!

After dinner with the fam we stopped by this gem of an ice cream parlor. The flavors were so unique and so delicious. Strawberry mint, cookie crunch and lavender malange were the flavors we chose. The outside sitting area is such a cool space to enjoy your sweet treat and even catch the train passing through. Definately a must

Yummy ice cream! Just what we needed after a stressful trip fighting crowds at an expo and then trying to get out of the parking lot when people had blocked the exit! Good service, clean and calm facilities improved our mood no end.

Absolutely love this place! I'm a big ice cream guy and these people do the frozen treat justice. Excellent accents in taste, complementing textures, and impressively made unique flavors combined with classics make this shop one you can't hate. The aesthetic is adorable too and fits well with the entire plaza's theme. Staff is quite friendly too which is something I'm keen on as well. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I stumbled upon May Day Ice Cream as we were searching for dessert spots in Jacksonville, Florida! We’re on a foodie adventure to find the best food in the country and we have to say that they are absolutely worth visiting!! It was the cutest place ever! When you walk in the smell of their homemade waffle cones hits your nose. The walls are painted super cute!! They have such fun and different flavors!! You can even order a flight of different flavored ice creams so that you can try multiple flavors!! Such a GREAT idea!! All of them were so creamy and packed with mix ins and flavor!! We also ordered the affagato where you pick which flavor of ice cream you want and they top it with fresh espresso! Some of our Favorite flavors were the parent trap. It was a PB ice cream with oreos mixed within. The PB was so prevalent and delicious and made the ice cream so creamy, plus the oreos within gave you a slight crunch and chocolate flavor which was bomb! The Aviator was a chocolate Nutella ice cream that was also super smooth and creamy with fat chunks of biscoff cookie!! The cookie crush was the best cookies in cream we’ve ever had! MASSIVE chunks of oreos and the base legit tasted like the cream of the Oreo! Honestly everything was so good!!! You must check them out if you’re in the Florida area!! Mayday mayday! This ice cream is too tasty to put down! My hips are in trouble! Just had their almond butter chip ice cream and it was everything ice cream should be, even though it's dairy free. Very creamy, very chocolatey, and super good. The whole place smells like cookies because they make fresh baked waffle shaped cookies that go in your cup. The staff is super friendly and even let my friend try every single flavor before making her selection. 🤣 They sell cold brew coffee from Bold Bean and the sweetened version surprised me on how much I liked it, I'm usually a milky coffee type person. Overall, a very cute place, very friendly, and delicious treat any day of the week!

Excellent. I love cookies and cream but dairy free options are limited where I live so coming here it was refreshing and delicious. The environment inside and out is super cute. Fun date night place and the staff was kind and helpful. Great experience.

I've been to just about every Mayday ice cream shop that they have open currently.... Honestly, these guys have me won over. I have no ties to the place at all...I will tell you this though, I have been to three locations in Jacksonville and one of the two in Saint Augustine. When you go into Mayday ice cream you're not just getting amazing ice cream... You're getting an experience. You're getting a quick snippet of history about the company, REAL information about the flavors. You're being informed about their other locations that may be more convenient for you. More importantly, you're getting a great attitude and an enthusiastic smile from the employees. You're receiving professional, courteous service from a person that cares about their job and likes to interact with people and believes in the product that they're selling. I know, I know, it's just ice cream... 🙄....but that's just it. It's ice cream, but they present it like its been prepared by a 5 star chef. It's fresh, its gourmet they even have adult 21+ flavors. Honestly, it doesn't matter what you're selling at the end of the day... With the right attitude and a product that you believe in, you can turn anything mundane into an experience and I think these people have mastered the idea of that. The ice cream is made locally, it's fresh, the stock rotates per season...but don't worry, you can still most likely get a pint of an off-season flavor from the freezer. My suggestion, let it soften up...just a tiny little bit if you get it from the freezer before diving into a pint. The flavors seem bolder that way. My favorite happens to be the caramel apple pie. Friendly environment, cool theme, great well-thought out, broad spectrum of flavors... and most important of all in my opinion is that you leave there feeling better, (or at least not worse), than you did when you walked in. Highly recommended.
