Great food. Very similar to the old Genghis Khan mongolian bbq place from years ago - if you know and were a fan of it. Only issue for me and my family and friends is that none of us live anywhere near it. The location could be better.
Great food, the place is a little rough but once you start eating you forget about it. You pick out what you want and they cook it in front of you. Fresh and the staff is very helpful.
The bbq is amazing. I try to get over here as much as possible. There is no better Mongolian bbq in the Jax area. Seriously. This place is worth the drive.
Myself, family, and friends have been dining at Marco Polo for over 10 years. I was introduced to this spot from a friend of mine and quickly became obsessed with the food. The Mongolian BBQ is delicious, and I really believe it's because they have great quality meats, veggies, and sauces. The power of good Mongolian BBQ is in the sauces, and Marco Polo hits them on the head. The flavor is delicious and I make it a point to stop by and eat there every time I'm in town from Orlando. The staff are also extremely kind and always remember our drink orders each time we dine. They make sure that we are topped off throughout the entire visit and catch up with us on what's new. This is a very small, independent restaurant that I would highly recommend you try and support. They've been in business for a long time and I'm hoping we keep them in business for many more years to come.
My wife and I have been coming here for years, now we bring the whole family. It is a bit of a drive, but so worth it. We have never had a bad experience or service. The options for the Mongolian grill are plentiful and ingredients are always fresh. You can combine their sauce options off the guide that they have, or make it free style which is what I usually do. The prices are very reasonable for a buffet.
Shockingly great!! Had never had Mongolian barbecue, but my better half days it was a great place to eat... He was right (yes ladies, a man was actually right)!! It's a little place tucked into a strip mall, and you will miss it is you don't know it's there. Nobody was there when we got there at around 5, but that soon changed. Food was amazing, directions on amount of each sauce to use were very clear. Glasses were kept full, plates were kept cleared. Only reason i gave 4 stars was because they have a buffet as well, but there was not very much on it. However, what little was there was very good. By the time we left at 6:15, the place was almost full!! There's a reason they've been in business over 30 years!! We'll definitely go back!!
My absolute favorite place to eat! Great food, great service! I l love their Mongolian barbecue buffet, you can customize to any taste. I feel like it’s hard to make the same plate twice, which makes it all the more unique. And their traditional Chinese buffet is always good too. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
I haven't had mongolian bbq in a very long time! My mom used to take me and my little sister and brother to one that used to be in Mandarin. I've been talking about going here for about a year now and my girlfriend and I finally went! The restaurant was clean and the service was great. They even offered to assist us on the sauce combos. I was familiar with it but my girlfriend was not. The food was great and once you drop it off to be cooked it is done very quickly. If you have a good appetite for at least 2 - 3 bowls it's well worth the money. We will be going here again very soon!
The food here is awesome! The Mongolian grill selection is spot on. The only complaint I have is there isn't any seafood. But other than that it's a great little place to eat. Staff is very nice and our drinks never ran out. Will definitely come here again.
Not sure why people would feel the need to hurt the reviews of this small local restaurant business! Spread positivity at a time like this. They are always kind and maintain their restaurant. Of course, things are changing due to COVID-19 precautions, but nonetheless the Mongolian BBQ tasted amazing. Who doesn't love freshly cooked meals that you customize yourself? You basically create the taste of it! The classic Chinese appetizers are a nice addition to the barbecue, which is already reason enough to go there by itself. Keep doing what you are doing, love this place!
My husband asked our daughter where she wanted to eat and with so many other choices, even Mickey D's, she chose Marco Polo. Although my husband has taken the kids a lot of times, this was my first time. My family had a great dinner. The food was fresh and delicious, cooked to order. I was sooo full and satisfied. The staff was friendly and very nice too. They were very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything. I'm sure it won't be our last time visiting.
Food was very good. Employees are wicked nice. They mention when you enter that you have to sanitize and use gloves. They told one woman like 3 times to wear gloves. She just wouldn’t 🙄. They kept our drinks full. Do wish the place was a little cleaner. But we would try them again.
This is the best Mongolian BBQ I've had in Jacksonville, we drive a little ways to get there but it's worth it.
Staff is super friendly with a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese speakers (All speak English too).
They have a regular menu too but I have never ordered from it. They have raised their prices twice in the past two years, I cannot afford to pay $12 a piece to feed my whole family here anymore but sometimes just my Wife and I will pop in and enjoy the great food.
Great options for the Mongolian BBQ... everything was fresh and they had sauce recipes written out to guide you with different spice levels. The like moved pretty quickly and the cook made sure everything was cooked thoroughly. The side bar with the premade food was also great and offered rice to soak up the goodness of the BBQ. The eating area was a little shabby but still very clean!
