We visited Bayard Cottage Antique Village & decided to give this place a try - got an extra bonus from some friendly folks outside that assured us of a good meal - they were not wrong!!! I tried the Black & Blue burger 🍔 & my wife had the Palm Beach Club with potato salad (not the yellow) - it was so tasty! We can't wait to try this place again- highly recommend 👌 - forgot to mention they also offer a military discount to those that served
My new favorite spot to get some breakfast. Definitely will be back to get some lunch. Service. Amazing. Food. Amazing. Price totally worth it. Went for breakfast with my husband. We’re immediately seated and waited on. Waiter (did not get his name) was so nice and patient with us. We ordered our food and before we knew it we were being served our food. Sooo good. Check out the photos. Hubby had the fried country steak with toast, fried egg hard and hash-browns. And I had the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and toast. That is what we had.
AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD!!! Out of all the breakfast locations in this are I always choose to come here with my whole family for breakfast. Amazing staff, clean, food is great, and A LOT of food. My favorite is Biscuits & Gravy with side of meat and 2 eggs.
Went on a Thursday mid-morning, place was surprisingly busy, we had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. Smaller seating area. Got the Nashville chicken Benedict with grits, and the breakfast burrito. My guest enjoyed the breakfast burrito and said it was tasty and she was satisfied. The nashville chicken benedict was good, dampened the heat with the grits which was perfect for me. Nice selection of breakfast food, busy restaurant is usually a good sign. I am usually a traditional breakfast person, but wanted to try something different. Some of the other entrees going around looked good, would return and try some other dishes next time.
My daughter and I stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and wow were we glad we found them! The wait was about 30 minutes which wasn't bad at all considering it was a weekend morning and the food here is top notch.
The menu has many interesting items including their specialty pancakes. Even better, they let you order a single specialty pancake as a side, so we indulged in a red velvet and split it to save on calories. OMG! Such a decadent treat. I can't wait to sample the others!
My bagel and lox was excellent, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the avocado toast. Coffee was hot and delicious and offered in a take out cup to go after we finished our meal.
The service was just as amazing as the food! Sammi was attentive and efficient and very sweet.
Great food, great service, interesting menu, cute little breakfast place--can't wait to return!
Came here for the cinnamon roll and it did not disappoint! Warm, gooey and super tasty. Also ordered the Skeeter skillet (minus sausage gravy) and it was also super delicious. The restaurant was really busy for 10 am on a Saturday. Normal tables were a 45 minute wait, but I was able to snag a bar seat without having to wait. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!
Found this place after looking for breakfast spot on Friday Oct 6. Glad we found it because the food and service was top notch.
First off, service was superb. We were acknowledged and asked what we would like to drink within one minute of sitting down. And our coffee was delivered very quickly.
The food was delicious!!! We ordered the double pancakes and the Denver Omelette. The pancakes were fluffy with a sweet taste that melted in your mouth. The omelette was cooked perfectly and the portion size was perfect. Plus the amount of food for the cost was great.
If you are heading I95 down from Jacksonville or heading to Saint Augustine, it's worth the slight detour for great service/food for your money.
Great food, it was served super fast and everyone was nice and the coffee was good :) Would go there again for breakfast :)
I love this cozy breakfast spot. Nick (the owner) always comes around the restaurant asking if we need anything and fills our coffees. The food is delicious and the environment is welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Best place in JAX hands down!

Earlier in March, my wife and I visited one of our favourite spots to grab breakfast: Canopy Road Cafe. This is a very quaint place, and there seriously isn't much to complain about. I happen to think the tables for two are a bit small. Otherwise, I can't think of a thing.
The service is always excellent. The coffee was HOT, and they didn't bat an eye when Cherrie ordered unsweetened tea with lemon. We made the strategic error of ordering appetisers and main courses at the same time, meaning everything basically showed up at once. And on a small table, there was very little space.
We began with the best cinnamon roll in all of Duval County (and probably St. John's County, too). If for no other reason, this is worth coming for. We also got fried green tomatoes, which came with homemade pimento cheese. Awesome.
I got the eggs, turkey sausage, and biscuits and sausage gravey. The eggs, over medium, were perfectly prepared, and the turkey sausage was great. The biscuits were excellent, and the sausage gravey, while not the best I have ever had, was still very, very good.
Of course, Cherrie ordered her traditional avocado toast. She absolutely loves the bread they use and are very generous with the avocado, tomatoes, feta cheese, and a balsamic glaze. This is definitely top two on her list of places for avocado toast.
On the whole, we love this place and the delightful atmosphere as well as the great food and service. We recommend it.

Finally got to try this fun eatery! Been on my must try list for a while! Great lil breakfast/lunch spot with delicious unique food options. Great variety on the menu for all diets. We had the churro waffle, cookie dough waffle and eggs with turkey sausage and bacon. Friends got the cinnamon roll, fried green tomatoes and pancakes. Everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great, kept our coffees full and had multiple creamer options. Cant wait to go back and try something new!

Great food and service. It can get a bit busy so depending on when you go, there may be a wait. I have loved everything I tried.
This was a fun and bustling place to meet friends for breakfast. I had the steak and eggs - I asked for rare and the steak was Pittsburgh style rare - so really rare the way I like it. The home fries are more like cubed fries but tasted good. I was thinking that this is a great place to go on the way to the beach. It does open and close early so keep that in mind if you do decide to stop here on a beach day.
Awesome food. Love the local spot. They have a cool selection for pancakes that are huuuge.
Highly recommend any of their locations.

I’ve driven by this restaurant a hundred times and finally had a chance to check it out recently when we had visitors in town.
We were quickly greeted and seated and the waitress was very friendly and helpful.
The food was amazingly good and the portions were very generous for everything we ordered. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items and they were all done to order and served quickly despite the place being quite busy.
Overall a very good experience, highly recommended!
