I had a wonderful time dining here at Bento red yesterday evening to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a big group of 30 so we made the reservation and they were kind enough to allowed us, even on a Saturday. We came in early and they were able to seat first half of our party and the other half after 15 minutes. The host was very accommodating and prompt with getting our big group situated. This location is a lot bigger than bento blue at the town center and they have table service. The decor is modern and great music selection playing in the background. The menu is pretty much the same as the other bento with some additional items. They also have outside seating, which is nice during spring and summer time. Our waiter Mike was such a good sport, he was very attentive and sweet. We got complimentary Adamame for all 3 tables and a Free Milk tea boba for the birthday girl. I ordered the Hibachi steak bento box, which comes with the sesame rice, ginger salad, lomein, steak and stir fried green beans. Hubby had the Tuna sashimi bowl, serves with fresh seaweed and rice. Our meals were delicious and seasonally priced. It was also very kind of the management to waived the $15 Cork fees for us since we had group. They provided us with 12 wine glasses and we had 2 bottles of wine, so that was fantastic. This is a great place to dine in or celebrate your birthday at, I highly recommend it. And we will definitely have our girls night out more often here.

Got the stir fried chicken and it was okay. Would have liked the chicken to be a little more fried. Other than that the food was fairly tasty and colorful. Great service.

Bentos is hands down top 3 favorite Asian Kitchen in Jax. Fresh. New. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Lots of choices. It gets busy so don’t go in a rush, if you need to hurry, just call ahead. This location has tons of space and is a great post Tinseltown hang out. Go fill up on some Deliciousness!

It was my first time here. What a cute little spot. Loved the atmosphere inside. And I received EXCELLENT service! Since it was my first time I was unfamiliar with their setup or selections. My questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. My food was tasty and I enjoyed the boba tea, yum!

Always 5 stars. I've been a regular at Bento's for years and it only gets better. THE BEST sushi in the south. Period. The value is incredible. So much food for the price. The flavors are balanced so well. Every single ingredient is so fresh. The presentation is always gorgeous and unique. The service is stellar. I wish every restaurant were so good! You'll find a full bar with lots of craft beers as well. Their cocktails are creative and tasty. The sushi chefs really add to the place. Sit at the bar for magnificent service, knowledge, and accommodation. The music is hip but there's still a nice atmosphere about the place. Finally, it's SO CLEAN. This is so important. Highly highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting this specific bento cafe because I’ve been to the other one near St. John’s Town center before but not this one. This one is bento red and I’m not sure what the difference is between blue and red but the layout of both places are entirely different. My cousin and I split a sushi combo box together and I really enjoyed it. The combo box comes with 8pc California rolls and two 4pc sushi rolls of your choice which costs $10. They also have spicy pickled cucumbers and glass noodles on the side plated in a bento box. We got the Florida roll and the Chicken Tempura roll. They were all delicious; even the spicy pickled cucumbers. I ordered mango boba milk tea which costs $3.50 for a regular and $5 for a large. The large is not different compared to size. It’s about the size of a venti Starbucks cup. I ordered a regular and the mango tasted delicious. It was light and the boba was chewy. The large array of flavors and drinks you were able to combine were wonderful. You could choose jellies, boba, lychee, etc. to put in your drink. They even had a smoothie type and you could mix and match. The menu can be quite confusing for someone new especially the bento, rice bowl, and noodle bowl. I ordered a white rice bowl with Szechuan chicken. It’s not really that spicy and I personally didn’t like the taste but others could like it. I liked the vegetables in it but the sauce poured over the dish was excessive and a lot. It kind of drenched the whole dish and tasted bad over time. The rice tasted different compared to jasmine rice and my bowl came out 10 minutes later than everyone else so I was stuck eating sushi, waiting. The service was great though and sincere about forgetting things. The drinks are refillable and they have takeout boxes if you’re full. The place is beautiful and is great if you have a lot of friends eating together. Would definitely recommend going there.

I love the way they designed this location and I've only experienced friendly staff. Needless to say, this has quickly become one of my new favorite spots to have a beverage and some awesome food. They have a great menu with lots of options. I was very excited to see that they had bubble tea with a wide variety of options, and even MORE excited when the tea tasted amazing! I'm only bummed out about a couple aspects: 1. They do not have a dessert menu. Unless one considers the bubble tea a dessert, of course. I've only seen one brownie that is currently being served as a "tester" dessert and might not be a permanent option. Fingers crossed for some mochi or green tea ice cream. 2. The full-bar doesn't open until 5 pm. It's not a huge deal - I just saw no indication that it was closed until that time. Overall I always have a wonderful time when I dine here and highly recommend it. I must give a shout out to the bar tender named Taylor. She was sweet, polite, and very attentive. I suggest sitting in her section if she's available.

Great, lively atmosphere. Lots of food options! The Special Mexican was muy delicioso! Wish I would've tried the dynamite though. Can't wait to revisit! Looking forward to try more of the menu. The love music was a nice touch, also!

Delicious. . .a little pricey, but worth it as an occasional treat. Service is good. Always busy every time I went.

Always a delight to go to Bento's. Whether it's Jacksonville or Gainesville, I always make sure to stop in whenever I can. I have never had a bad experience, and have found that every item I have tried has been good. The Spicy Cream Chicken Rice Bowl is my jam. Pair that with a little Wasabi and some Soy Sauce, and it doesn't get much better than that. Good for entrées, and good for Sushi. I look forward to trying some of the soups next time I go.

The food is amazing! Visually appealing asks very tasty! The only thing I asked ajuns they did not have or know about was the caloric contents of entries in the menu, like a bobba tea.

After being away from Florida for 7 years, it was nice to come back to see all these changes. First thing that I had in mind was to go back to this place. Why aren't you all in Texas?! I know we need this place to show up the Texans what real Asian cuisine is! Lol I had my all time favorite: General Tso chicken (so good) My other 2 guests had grilled teriyaki chicken and curry katsu. My guest and I wished the curry was a little more on the thicker consistency rather than it being a watered down curry when he had his meal.

Amazing as always. It's kinda a fast food place mixed with a sit down restaurant. I must prefer the afternoon dining. You order at the counter and it's brought to you. After 5pm it becomes table service. The boba tea is fantastic and recommend the popping boba. Recently the priced went up on some menu items so I've went back to the poké bowls. It feels like eating one or two whole rolls and it really feels worth it. The employees are really nice and accommodating if you need extra of anything!

Went for Wine Down Wednesday but ended up having dinner instead. The food is great, the sushi is to die for! However, they were packed (very little parking left and they have a pretty big lot), the restaurant is VERY loud and there were a few kids running around the bar area.
