A small place we stumbled upon and the food was good. My daughter had an allergy to the pita bread and we were given a suggestion of a much bigger and higher price item, when we later realized she could have had a much smaller dish that was more appropriate. We felt a little conned into the bigger bill.

Kosher restaurant. I’ll start with the staff and owners of the place , they are charming, welcoming and super nice. The food is fresh and very tasty compared to kosher restaurants overseas but also objectively. I ordered a juicy lamb hamburger (not industrial, homemade), and fries . The price $25, worth and justified. In conclusion, if you're in the area , or near Jacksonville even if you're not that hungry, go for a visit, you won't regret it.

Very good shawarma and falafel! The owner and staff were also incredibly kind. The shawarma is just like in Israel

Gili's kitchen was an unplanned visit that turned into a great food stop for our group. The whole ambiance and cleanliness of the place was so welcoming. The menu is surprisingly diverse taking inspiration from a lot of different Asian cuisines. We all tried different items and they were all delicious and full of flavors. We talked with the owner later before leaving and got to know that they were just starting off. So if you are around and need a good place to fill up your belly, give this place a try.

The food was good, and there were vegan options. It was a little expensive but so is everything downtown.

As the only kosher restaurant in Jacksonville it’s sure nice to have this option! The interior is nice and clean Ans the stuff is kind and proactive. I ordered the dirty burger and loved all the flavors. We also got two other dishes but it wasn’t anything too special. Follow me on Instagram for more kosher reviews @kosherfoodworld

Wonderful! Food was fresh, authentic, flavorful and reasonably priced for lunch. The falafel was not oily and had layers of flavor. Hummus was creamy, tasty and not too much garlic. Overall, enjoyable, and I expect that if I'm back in Jacksonville, I'll go back.

Absolutely delicious! The ambiance, presentation and service is outstanding! We didn’t expect to find such a gem here, burgers , chicken fingers, sweet potato fries, were delicious, my daughter who is a very picky eater are her entire order of pasta bolognese:) flourless chocolate cake is a must try as well!

For those who keep kosher, restaurants like this are a true find. Not only is every dish delicious, but the owner is delightful as well. The shawarma and the pastrami were divine, whether one keeps kosher or not. Whenever I'm back in Jacksonville, this will be one of my stops.

The restaurant has tables to eat inside, we placed our order at the counter but I see people came in after us and the lady took their orders at the table. We ordered a hamburger and fries which were good and also ordered Sharwama which was very good but the sauce was not to my liking. Nice clean place nothing fantastic but very nice employees and the food was good. Would recommend.

I've never had shawarma before but this was a delicious lunch time meal. I very much enjoyed it. I got the shawarma pita and my friend got shawarma on hummus. Both were delicious and filling. The staff was polite and the food came out quickly. I will return and recommend Gilis to my friends.

First time for my wife and I. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Gladly helped me with my Hebrew. The food was impressive. For Israelis, they sure can cook oriental food very well! We had the Vietnamese Fried Rice and the Oriental Salad as well as french fries. We highly recommend these dishes and highly recommend Gili's kitchen. We will be back again soon!

Wonderful little place. I ordered the lamb burger with gluten free bun. The cashier checked with the cook to make sure the bun was available, he said it wasn't and offered gluten-free bread. I agreed. The owner was sitting in a meeting just behind us and said, 'let me go look I think I saw some.' Sure enough! He took the time to find them even though I had agreed to the other!!! The cashier was very sweet and explained the Hebrew language on a juice can. I am very glad I looked up this vegan friendly restaurant!!!
