I have been riding up and down Beach Blvd for years and have always noticed this place but never had the time to Stop, until Today. SO I pulled in about 11:30am on Friday and the parking lot was packed which to me is a great sign, I walked in and was Greeted immediately by one of the Most pleasant Counter Crew Ever. I really could not makeup my mind to order because between the Pictures of the Gourmet Hot Dogs and there Signature Pitas like the Steak in a Sack and Camel Rider, i didn't know what to do!!!! That's when the young Man behind the Counter which I am Assuming is the Owner because his passion and professionalism were above any fast food employee I have encountered so I would only guess nothing but that. He recommend if I have a big enough Appetite to order the Steak in A Sack Combo and add on a Hot Dog, So I did!!! Let me tell you the Steak was Absolutely Delicious cooked to perfection with Grilled onions, I thought I was in Heaven, I could not believe I never Stopped here before until Now. The Hot dog was equally as Good, there signature Toasted Bun with the Awesome Homeade CHilli and Cole Slaw was amazing. I will tell everybody I know, you just don't find Quality like this place dishes out, at least not for these Prices, I absolutely LOVED LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

You Won't Leave Hungry. When it comes to hot dogs nobody does it better in the 904 then the folks at All American Hot Dog @ 10365 Beach Blvd. I mean nobody.
Whether its my personal favorite the chili, cheese, and onion foot long or the classic kraut dog, its worth the drive. The choice of toppings goes on and they are good.
Don't let the name fool you. If hot dogs aren't your thing, these guys rock the house with a flavor busting steak pita. Chicken, ham, flounder, roast beef, turkey, tuna and veggie pitas are on the menu too. These great sandwiches can also find themselves on a sub roll.
This culinary team also makes a mean bacon double cheese burger too. Unleaded burgers with your choice of toppings are available too. Combo meals include choice of drink, cole slaw, fries, onion rings and peppers. Coming from a designated hot dog joint, the burgers are big and good.
If that part of the menu doesn't turn on the hungry lamp the breakfast menu will. These folks do an outstanding job with a line up of biscuit and pita sandwiches. The sit down Country platter features eggs, grits, biscuit, and choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Their biscuits are my early morning favorite.
This mom and pop operation always has that freshly cleaned look when I walk in. The counter service team is friendly and are always ready to accommodate those special requests. Besides the great food, the prices are reasonable. One thing is for sure. You won't leave the All American Hot Dog hungry.
Prices are great for the best chili dog I've ever had, the wait was short, I bought two chili dogs with mustard and onions one so I could see if I liked the dog and one to share with my parents I regret not buying three.. Will definitely be going back real soon for another chili dog and to try their steak pita.
Longtime Customer. I have been eating at AAHD since I was a kid. My family used to go to the one on San Juan Ave (which no longer exists) on the Westside. I still see the owner and his son and they are friendly and courteous everytime we eat here. My favorite item is the Steak-in-a-sack. They food is always fresh, fast and inexpensive. Easy to find along Beach Blvd just east of Gun Gallery and across the street from the old Forestry Service fire tower park. Head over for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner as they are open unitl 8pm.

All american hot dog has awesome breakfast pita's, & lunch pita's.
Retro and popular with the locals. Tried a hot dog and it was better than average. Love the way the buns are grilled. Thumbs up!
The BEST guilty pleasure!. Two chili-cheese dogs, fries and a coke - all for about $5 and served to you in less than 5 minutes.

Funny story... about two years ago the owner and his wife (they are always there) were discussing the booths. I didn't get to hear the beginning of the conversation but it ended with "we just changed these seats in the 80's, they're fine!" --- That's AWESOME. And only something you can say when you know your restaurant isn't going anywhere!
Best food in fl. This place has some of the best food to be found anywhere in jacksonville .The food that you find here is some of the highest quality at very reasonable prices I will be back. I recommend that anyone try it.
Their burgers are well made. I got the chicago dog and it was very good! The steak in a sack was jam packed with meat. Great prices and the staff were all friendly.
Probably, my favorite place to get a burger! Everyone I've taken to All American for a burger has been overly surprised at how delicious it is. You will enjoy their pita sandwiches as well. It's so good!!!
Very old establishment with fast service. Great hotdogs woth toasted buns and plenty of toppings. Just a local mom and pop place that's been around over 50 years. Definitely recommend.
A hidden gem. I found this place while waiting on some pirates around the corner. I've returned 2 more times. The steak in a sac is awesome.
The people that work there are down to earth, decent and kind.
Anytime im in the area ill be stopping in for some food and yoi shpuld too.

I found the hamburger 🍔 to be dry it had a good flavor if it had just been juicer
They were great in 1986 as a teenager, and they are great in 2023. Camel rider was spot on. Worked on this chimney down the road.

Been eating here for over 20 years. Real beef hotdogs and fresh sourdough buns. Don't forget the limeade.
Great...The original owner and his sons are still there feeding us all that come. They serve you fast, food is delicious (I had hotdogs)and my MILKSHAKE was YUM!
