Friendly prompt service, generous portions. I recommend ordering the Family Feast for anyone who has a male in the party who's constantly hungry. My very tall and slender 25 year old son was actually full and had a plate to take home for later. An amazing experience indeed.
What a great meal!!! The choices of BBQ sauce is terrific... the staff made us feel welcome and we wanted for nothing.... such a great team....

Excellent locally owned BBQ restaurant. The BBQ chicken was extremely tasty and smoked to perfection. The Brunswick stew is full of meat and vegetables without being overwhelmed with BBQ sauce.
The service was fantastic and prices are reasonable. Definitely an excellent place to enjoy lunch or dinner.
Bono's is always great but this is a nice location. The establishment was in great condition, staff were fantastic (very impressed with an older gentleman there who was seriously hustling and working hard - a work ethic I haven't seen from anyone in a long time!). Great lunch, cannot wait to go back again!
Not bad for a chain. We had coupons for $5 off on $25 so we decided to get 3 meats on a plate and the chicken. The pulled pork and briskets are tender and delicious. The spare ribs were kind of a disappointment given how dry and hard it was. It also seems like the ribs didn’t get marinated enough and not cooked long enough. The sides were better, especially the green beans and the red beans. Overall, decent price, decent food (I recommend the brisket and the pulled pork), but there are better bbq places in Jacksonville.
Consistently great BBQ, we typically get take-out meals. The restaurant and staff are great, but we usually feed a youth group or visitors, so need the flexibility of large parties. We have been visiting for the past 5 years, and enjoy every visit.
Once in a while, we crave BBQ, and Bonos is great. I usually call it in and drive thru to pick up. I love the baked sweet potatoes! Best I've had. Pulled pork and chicken are regulars, and they have all flavor of sauces. It's a chain but a good one.
I ordered the beef brisket salad. The brisket was moist and tender. The salad was so big I couldn't finish it. The ribs were not quite as tender as I prefer, but still had good flavor.
Excellent food! Got a feast with the added St. Louis-style ribs with beans and Brunswick stew for sides. Chose the brisket and sausage for the deal. Lots of food and it was fabulous. Simple, casual atmosphere with friendly staff.
I like the food. It's tender and done. The sides are good. I could eat five sides of greens right now along with their green beans and a little of their macaroni and cheese. The sauce tastes like mustard seasoned and it's too strong for me, so I eat my meat plain.
I went to Bono's just shy of closing time now at most restaurant she would think you would get subpar service when staff no it's closing time but not here at Bono's the waitress I had was very helpful even when we had gotten cold fries always just exchange them no questions asked and this is right before closing I definitely recommend Bono's great staff great food lovely atmosphere

I got the beef brisket sandwich. It was pretty good. The brisket was very tender and delicious. A bit too seasoned, but it was very well cooked. Mom and my wife got the crispy chicken salad. That is a phenomenal option as well. Great people and customer service.
Christina and the whole staff were super nice. They told us several times that the burgers would take a little while longer but we hardly waited long at all. We brought our dog and they very kindly say us in the patio and gave him a dog bowl. Genuinely excellent service and genuinely good food.
Brisket has been spot on every time. We also love their turkey salad for a lighter option, but expect leftovers no matter what you order!
Bono's and the ENTIRE staff did an amazing job hosting all 20 of us for a Pre-k graduation dinner. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The drinks arrived as the guests did and the food came out super quick and hot! Can't say enough great things. Thank you 🙏
