Love the food and the people are beyond friendly!
They have a great selection from sandwiches to salads and soups, but don’t forget to try the pizza. The sides are even amazing, but who doesn’t love mac & cheese. I forgot to tell you that the cake is amazing!!!!!!! Don’t count out the delicious crispy treats and brownies.
Yo ma bro. Never been to one of these and I just started working in the area so my third day on the job I decided to give this place a shot. Asked the front counter chick (black hair, & super cute btw) what she liked the most and was not disappointed with the HUGE salad (see pic bro, hewge (best Donald Trump voice I can do)). Clean place very new looking (because it is) and nice helpful people. If I had a potato to throw as this place I just wouldn’t do it if you know what I mean (I don’t know what I mean). 5 starts bruhthah!

Special opening for those who got the email but in any case newks has been in Jacksonville for a while and is known for its amazing food and healthy choices. They also help with the donating to certain places and local schools !! This new store is a major game changer ! The open seating and upgraded decor and scenery is awesome ! The new staff is trained by it's previous staff from Southside !! So the staff is just as knowledgeable and friendly from the Southside store. The food is still amazing the spicy shrimp pizza is crispy and flaky, the salad portions are big and the the shrimp po boy is juicy and leaving u wanting for more .. tons of healthy food choices..
Similar vibes to a Panera, but food is prepared fresh. Had pizza, sandwiches, soup, & salad. Definitely enjoyed it more than it's competitors

The potato soup was good, but had too much cornstarch in it to thicken the soup. It did not sit well with my stomach and returned violently in the early morning hours. The prices are higher than average, yet nothing is exclusive nor special. It's a fast food restaurant for the trendy crowd. I am not sure I want to try it again. There is not much in the menu I eat.

I'm a panzy when it comes to spices and without the spicy pepper and spicy mustard, it was absolutely delicious.
Everything tasted fresh and the staff was very nice.

Very impressed with the service received here. The restaurant is very clean and the workers all have wonderful attitudes (which if you've lived in jax you know hats an issue). The food is great and always fresh. The young lady from PA who is a cashier should receive a promotion immediately. She was so informative and patient with me ordering. We are a food allergy family and she made several trips to the kitchen and checked their Manuel to make sure the food I was ordering for my daughter was but free dairy free and egg free.
Great food, great staff. The staff are incredibly sweet and attentive. They helped us get accustomed to the menu before ordering for our first time. The food was delicious. The Debra pizza was amazing! Very fresh and flavorful. Will go again for sure!
The food is delicious, the service was friendly and pretty quick even with a packed restaurant, and the prices are reasonable. At most restaurants a dinner salad is a rather small meal that might leave you less than satisfied - not so at Newks! Their salads are huge and packed with flavor - this is how lettuce should be treated!
Great chicken salad sandwich made for me. Better than the other two Newks restaurants...I don't remember tomatoes and lettuce coming on it though Its probably one of the things that made it better. I love that the spicy mustard was not taking over the flavor. I believe overall this location will be the best. I came in not realizing store opened at 11am and it was 10:30 yet they took my order anyway. I love that they didn't send my hungry pregnant self away. I do quality inspections for a living and this would of been a pass! Clean, beautiful, great service and great food.
I had a pepperoni pizza at Newks. This is the 1st time I had ever eaten at this restaurant but I've seen it several different places. The pizza was very thin crust but it had plenty of pepperoni and cheese on it. It looks like they have several Different sandwiches and that they make their own bread. The prices were decent between $8 to $15 Depending on what you ordered. I would like to go back in try a sandwich next time
Newk's was a pleasant surprise. This was my first visit, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The menu had much greater variety than I expected. The price range was just a bit higher than a sub shop, but with more menu options. It was also nicely decorated and very clean.
I work next door but it's was my first time eating there, the girl at the front counter wasn't friendly she was very nonchalant. I walked in and told her I've never eaten there before, grabbed the first thing that looks like a menu booklet to choose. I chose something, then with sarcasm she tells me I was looking at the one for catering and that the regular one was behind me. Had she been more attentive to the fact that I was new ordering there and more pleasant, five stars would be given. The turkey avocado was great; however, my bread was burnt.
Love this place! The food was plentiful, fresh, and yummy! My steak salad was full of steak and my potato soup was thick, creamy, and delicious. They have a complementary bar filled with imported pickles, peppers, pepperoncinis, parm cheese, croutons and more which I LOVE!! It's not the most kid friendly place as my step daughter had trouble finding something on the menu that she likes. She decided on a chicken salad sandwich and did not like it one bit but THANKFULLY they took it back and made her a pizza no questions asked! Super friendly staff as well. Although I find it odd that we were asked if we wanted a drink or water after years in the resturant business I would think that would kill drink sales. But whatever! Haha! It's a super delicious, clean, fresh, and friendly restaurant!
A better Panera? Perhaps. Certainly bigger portions and very, very tasty. They aren't any copy-cat though, the food is very much their own, if mostly classic soups, salads, and sandwiches. Friendly service and a complimentary round table of toppings and sides (bread and butter pickles and crunchy bread sticks, among other things) seal the deal. I wish we had these in New England!
My wife and I can really struggle to figure out what we want to eat sometimes. I decided to drive us to the St. Johns town center so we could have options. We ended up at Newk’s where we met Brian (I believe to be the manager). He greeted us with a big
Smile and was extremely friendly. I got the Club with soup and my wife got a soup and salad. It was an amazing experience and Brian really made the trip special by making us feel so welcome. We were taken care of with the highest quality and we will definitely be back! Healthy, delicious options and excellent service 10/10
Great food and an unbelievable spicy shrimp pizza.
Had a rough start when I asked the greeter what the vegan options were (was directed to the vegetarian options). I then asked the cashier if there was a cheese substitute that doesn't come from animals (Gouda was suggested 🤦🏻♂️). All staff members were very friendly and eager to help - and thankfully, someone looked up the ingredients.
It's very early in the store's opening - so I'll let all that slide 😊
Chili was WAY too sweet for my taste (also the only vegan item I could find), but veggie sandwich was good.
Interior is, well - appropriate for the Town Center.
