Not so bad. Since it's new, they don't have everything in the kitchen as to what they've put on the menu but whatever we ordered wasn't bad. Our order: mango lassi (needs work), chicken roast with pulao (my fave), dal puri, garlic naan, chicken lollipop (which i think should be under the app menu rather than the kids menu & need a better sauce on the side for that typical bread crumb type of lollipops), bhel chat (my fave), shag ghonto (dad's fave) with rice, & salad (needs work). Took a while for food to come even though there were only one other family in the restaurant. The pace for server as well as the chef needs work. Regardless, not a bad experience. I really loved their chicken roast which is why this place is getting such a higher rating!
I've been here twice and the food has been fresh and delicious both times! The chef is so attentive and really takes pride in his work. I definitely recommend!
This restaurant is a gem! The food is amazing and the chef really seems to love what he does. Will defiantly be back.
Went here for lunch great food 👍🏽 chicken makdhani was superb. chef comes out to speak to you. The waiter gave very good service, the lunch special is 8.99 before 3. However you get a good amount of food, served in very cute small bowls separately.
We ordered chicken tikka masala with naan and a potato, pea, cauliflower dish. Both were very good. This is definitely some of the least spicy Indian food I've had, but it was quite savory. Service was prompt and polite.
Just off the Van Wyck Expressway at Hillside ave, welcomed like a friend and service was excellent, real Bengali style cuisine.
I already have been to this new restaurant with my family in Jamaica 3 times .Very good food, freshly cooked, reasonable price, very neat and clean ( No wonder they get A grade),waiters and staff are friendly and cordial but it takes a little bit time for food to arrive (may be because the food is cooked after order and they are new). I think they need better coordination. You may easily be puzzled to see their huge lists of foods .Must try their delicious veg samosa and papri chat, awesome Veg Pulao with dal (these menus are the best we have ever had here in New York).Smells of pure ghee (clarified butter) in pulao and dal remind me of my grand mother's cooks .If you love authentic bengali food ,must try Pulao/white rice with wonderful dal, mixed veg curry, Sorshe Ilish/Pabda or golden pomfret dopiyanja ,bangladeshi style chicken roast. They are very tasty. You can try their mughlai parotha,Keema nun,Peswari nun with goat /lambcurry.These are our favourite too.
If you love spicy food, try their lamb or mutton vindaloo or rogan josh (of course with veg Pulao) .I was basically licking the plate ! Love their Indian thalis (veg/non-veg).Their masala tea is very good too .Great food ! No wonder this new restaurant is getting higher rating !
I went for the first time. It was sooo good!! My friends had been trying to get me to go and we finally did!! The food was AWESOME!!! The service was impeccable!! The entire experience was nothing short of amazing!!!
We order paneer burji, ver jal frezi and garlic naan. Owner took special care making sure the food was good and order was correct. Very respectful and attentive. Great tasting food.
The food was wonderful. We traveled from Dutchess County for this food. The service was superb. Very clean. I believe in checking reviews before I eat in any restaurant. This was the best.
