We sat outside surrounded by beautiful gardens and we could even see horses across the street. Service was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was just as amazing - our favorite appetizer was the scallops, cooked perfectly! They host smaller events (not large weddings at this time at least) and were very helpful with providing info
This is a new find for us after coming to the area for many years.
I have to say this wasn’t just a surprise, this was an experience. Starting with the service. The first thing that’s noticeable is that the staff is young. However they are impeccable. There was never a time when we were waiting for water or drinks or food. Even though we got there towards closing time neither our table nor any other table was rushed or ignored.
The food was perfect. We were there on a summer Sunday evening and everything we ordered was freshly made and delicious.
This is truly the place to try in North Fork
We had such an amazing dinner last night here. Everything was so fresh and delicious farm to table dishes. The fish and chicken dishes were memorable. Service at the bar with Mariah was warm, inviting and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come back.
Had a wonderful dinner here with my parents.
The atmosphere is fantastic and was enjoyed by all parties. Elegant yet comfortable. Classic and cozy yet refreshingly airy and bright. We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds outside and artwork which lined the inside of the two-levels of dining.
We interacted with maybe 4 or 5 members of staff and all were friendly, attentive, and comprehensive — delightful. Service really glided through our dinner seamlessly which was fantastic.
Creative cocktails and an extensive wine list — our local white was served perfectly chilled.
We ate a range of appetizers and entrees and were pleased on all accounts. Food was delicious, and presentation was on point. Gluten free and veg options as well which was appreciated.
Overall, Dimon Estate delivered a fantastic dining experience which presented the best of what the North Fork culinary scene has become renowned for, free from any pretension.
I’ll happily return and recommend to friends in the area. Cozy bar in the front looks like a great spot for a drink and bites as well, I imagine I’ll return there for lunch next.
Quaint and elegantly decorated for the holidays. We had the fluke and the chicken dinners. Both were excellent. Service was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back.
The food and service are always great. I always enjoy eating at a place decorated like Dimon Estate. The rich woods and woodwork makes for a great atmosphere.
Had a great dinner. The menu has alot of vegetarian meals. The view of the lovely garden surrounding the restaurant is exquisite. Going there again soon.
We had a delicious diner here yesterday. We took advantage of restaurant week and wasn’t disappointed! We will return again.

Good food in beautiful setting. Wonderful atmosphere. Food during restaurant week was very nicely presented. These items are really to give you an idea of their creativity. Have been here often and the only complaint I have is when an item includes goat cheese. You will be lucky to get more than a teaspoon.
November 2023. We came restaurant week and the chef was very creative. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted divine. Not that I was surprised as a friend told me what a wonderful dinner she had here with her family. I changed my four stars to five. Had a memorable meal. Chef didn’t skimp on the goat cheese. Try their duck, short ribs and fish. All three entrees are delicious.
Jamesport Manor is just next door to the Dilberto winery (excellent, fun place) and just up the road a piece from one of my other favorite restaurants, the Jedediah Hawkins Inn. The Jamesport Manor Inn however unlike Jedediah Hawkins it is a restaurant only, with currently no rooms to let. I have dined here several times, all for lunch, and the food has been consistently delicious. As is my habit I order one of the specials of the day and today was no exception. Today was a beautiful asparagus bisque, and for the main entree, a good sized portion of Salmon complimented with a creamy aioli. The Jamesport Manor is an excellent place for a quiet lunch with friends as you don’t have to shout over the room din that is very common in many restaurants. The service was pleasant and attentive, the food served at the pace we were expecting. The menu has a good selection of options that I would describe as American, a range reflecting the influence of many cultures, undoubtedly with a unifying North Fork overtone. The pictures do not do the atmosphere justice as it was a rainy, cloudy day and as such the side patio was not yet open. I look forward to returning here both as a pre winery tour lunch as well as a post winery tour dinner.
Beautifully rebuilt historic manor offering the finest in fish, meat, and vegetables. Upon entering, the warm wood tones, intricate wood moldings, and architectural features whisk you off to a grand English Manor. You know you are in for a treat here. The service is excellent, as was every item we ordered. Our first courses included Raw Oysters with Lenon Gratine served on a bed of ice and salt, Almond Crusted Baked Brie, and Roasted Beet Salad. Each was delicious. For our main entrees, we chose the Pan Roasted Filet Mignon and Crispy Skin Scottish Salmon. Fresh vegetables and potatoes complemented each. For dessert, we opted for a decadent slice of cheesecake, berries and cream, a sorbet duo, and a 20-year port. All in all, it was a beautiful evening celebration with friends of over 40 years in an exquisitely welcoming atmosphere.
I LOVED my time here. I sat at the bar with my partner and the bartender Emily was so knowledgeable and sweet. Ask her about the history of the estate! Super fun experience and the chef was so nice also! The duck appetizer was INCREDIBLE. The hostess and staff was all so sweet and personable. Such a great spot to celebrate or enjoy a drink. Outdoor area is super sweet too!
Beautiful old style building, rebuilt to it's true character after disastrous fire. Classic atmosphere with wood elements and high ceilings. Has art galleries upstairs, and restaurant offering gran prix prices. Beautiful country experience

Great place to grab lunch or dinner. The food was top notch. The service was great.
This is an updated review as of yesterday. What a great change!
We joined another couple for dinner and had an absolutely outstanding meal. Starting with very cool cocktails, a bourbon creation with Tumeric and a chocolate mint leaf, everything was just lovely. The asparagus risotto appetizer was beautiful to look at and delicious. The duck wings were perfectly prepared. For main courses, we had the Duck Breast, the Filet Mignon, Grill Shrimp and Fried Fluke. All were artfully served, great sized portions and completely yummy. We saved room for the homemade cheese cake, which had a delicious chocolate crumb crust and a layer of chocolate on top, paired with drizzles of mango and salted caramel.
Our server was very attentive and professional. The bartender helped out and checked if we were enjoying ourselves. All in all I would completely recommend Dimon Estate for an upscale meal that's worth trip to lovely, quaint Jamesport.
The experience was quiet different from my last visit to this establishment, when it was still called the Jamesport Manor Inn:
"This has been a favorite dinner place for my husband and I but after last night, I’m not so sure. Friends from NJ came to the NoFo and we made reservations at the Jamesport Manor. From the moment of our arrival, it’s as if the staff wanted the table vacated. Our meals were so average. The cheesecake was terrific but a bill of close to $400 for four people ( and only one round of drinks ) and then to be told they need the table (2 hours and 15 min meal) when other tables were available seemed rude."
We will go back and bring more friends!
