Stopped here yesterday and we were amazed with the fantastic service and the delicious food! We had a large group and they were excited to see us and catered to our every need! The bartender was extremely friendly and a terrific cook! I can't wait to get back here for their Philly cheesesteak sandwich and homemade Italian dressing! This place may be small but it is hands down the best food I have had in months!
The service was absolutely wonderful. The waiter was so friendly, and staff welcomed us when we came in. They even thanked us for coming in. The food was (for lack of a better word) cheap! And I mean that in a good way. Four of us ate very well, including sausage gravy to share, and our bill was under $30. We took home a box full too. The pancakes were giant and no one was able to finish theirs. The parking lot was big enough to park our camper in, which is hard to find around here.
The burgers were out of this world fantastic. The owners are older people and delightful to have a chat with. Very inviting and comfortable. Stick with the burgers or pizza, fresh ingredients and yummy ground beef, not greasy at all. It is a great price for phenomenal bar food. You won't be sorry you visited and your tummy will be full upon leaving.
The burgers were absolutely the best we have had in forever! Delicious! I will definitely be going back there. And the woman that waited on us was very pleasant and easy to speak to. She was very personable and pleasant.
Good food, good atmosphere, always great service, and owner is always around and is very friendly, welcoming, and inviting. Yes is also a bar...bar and restaurant are separate and restaurant has a great family friendly atmosphere. For a small town it's a nice change to have an option to have a sit down meal with your family. Each and every time we've come here to eat (or sometimes to go) we've NEVER been disappointed. This visit however was even more special....I'm a new (and extremely proud) grand parent. So of coarse I love to show off my beautiful grandson ever chance I get!! So Grammy and grandpa took the family out to dinner. This was my grandsons first time here. And as you can see in the pic... It was also the first time we discovered he loves lemons!! He reached out grabbed a lemon and just gobbled it up and he didn't even pucker when he did. The waitress noticed so she (without us asking) brought a small dish with a few lemons for him. May have been his first experience here and just like every visit prior....everything was great and had a nice wonderful enjoyable family dinner and made life time memories!
Stopped in for dinner during our fall camping trip. Cute little place. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic server, placed our order and away we went! 2 fish dinners, one steak salad and a bacon burger later, we were stuffed and satisfied. Almost forgot to mention the fresh cheese sticks and amazing onion rings. Will make this a regular when we are in town.
We were there Sat. night, it was a hot evening. There were 5 of us, 4 adults and 1 child. Two had hoagies, 2 had shrimp dinners and 1 chicken tender meal. EXCELLENT food and plentiful servings, we took food home! The waitress was very nice and good service. We WILL be back on our next trip, to the lake!
Really good food, family owned and run, great service. Had dinner for 4 on a Friday evening when Linda was our server and she is a hoot! She's also a darn good server. My husband enjoyed the burger and fries, and he is a very picky eater. I had the chef salad. We had pizza logs as an app. On Sunday we had breakfast and our server was Steve, the son. He was also very good. It was hard to figure out what time they opened, but I called and they said 8am. Between 3 of us, we had an omelet, french toast, bacon, etc, all very good! The pancakes are huge. Don't let the outside fool you...looks more like a house than a restaurant, but it's a full diner and bar inside. It's downhome goodness and not fancy. If you want expensive, fancy & overrated, this isn't for you. We tried Tavern 618 near Conneaut Saturday evening and all 4 of us totally regretted not going back to Bob's!
They accommodate family dinning, and the pizza was delicious. We stopped at another place first but my 8 year old wasn't allowed in, so we tried Bob's Place. Glad we did. Family business, and good staff.
If you are looking for a great lunch or dinner, look no further than Bob's Place! The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Burger is insanely good. You MUST be extra hungry to eat the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Burger. Tim's best invention EVER! The Bobby Burger is the King of all Good Things. If you are in the market for a great Pizza, you owe it to yourself to try the pepperoni and sausage pizza - the dough will have you singing hymns. The drafts are cold, the Bartender, Jay, is always ready to help you feel right at home, and the bar is as entertaining as any bar could ever be! Try Bob's Place, you will be glad that you did!
Food was fantastic, our waitress Linda was the best and nicest person we've met!! A great place to eat, have a few drinks and make new friends!
This is a local bar and grill. It is comfortable for families. There is a broad "bar food" menu.
The food quality is inconsistent, quantity is generous, and very reasonably priced. Our favorites are pepperoni or sausage calzones, pizza, and burgers.
Steaks and prime rib have been great or so-so.
Service is usually good, but the servers can be extremely busy. Be patient on those evenings, and enjoy friends and family.
Just are there tonight for the first time, the food was absolutely amazing! The waitress was Wonderful and Friendly, plus constantly asking if we needed anything and checking up on us, will DEFINETLY be going back!!
