I cannot recommend this place enough! This is the second time I'm eating their seafood gumbo and their fried fish in a crawfish cream sauce with angel hair pasta and it's still just as good as it was 28 days ago! I completely forgot that I had the debris fries a couple of weeks ago and they were really good. I haven't had a chance to eat a roast beef po-boy but I find that their roast beef is not as spicy at all like a lot of places are. I highly recommend this place and the few things that I have tried everything has been consistently good.
Reasonably priced? Who cares the price the food is great! I've never had a bad meal there; I have never had even a mediocre meal there!

Me and my husband went for 1st time yesturday and we walked in and ppl were so friendly n kind, we ordered n in minutes we had our food, we really gonna go back again. Food was awesome. U get a good portion of food
They know us by name, know our drink order and let us sample things if we're not sure about them. A little heavy on the salt sometimes (I'm not a good judge because I'm sodium restricted) but extremely tasty! I recommend the crawfish cakes, the onion rings (which are thin and crunchy), and my new fave is the crab dip (if they have it that day). They have a Facebook page and most of the time post their specials of the day and the prices. I'm very picky but this restaurant serves such a variety that I can always find something I like :)

Stop in one day out of curiosity and I have been hooked ever since.staff is always friendly.they even gave me my own nickname.Wish they stayed open 24hrs.just playing Stacey,U can't go wrong ordering anything off the menu.
I have tried 1/2 of everything on menu and daily specials. All is great. The best restaurant in the neighborhood.
Can never go wrong here! Good food. Good pricing. Good service. If you get a chance to try their red bean and porkchop special, try it!

This was my 2nd time go there and my food was good I recommend this to anyone fresh and hot love it.
Everything is great! It is the go to place for the whole family, or a quick pick up meal! The best home cooked meals ever, and yes, the fried chicken is fantastic!
I was born & raised in New Orleans, but moved to NC 10 years ago.. I was recently back in NOLA and had a poboy from Central. So good!! It tasted like home!! �

This little hole in the wall is a treasure. The food is amazing and the portions are quite hardy. Their lasagna is one of the best I've ever had! Friendly service staff makes the experience extra enjoyable.

This is my dads all time fave everyday meal place. I like their food but not for a daily place. If you are looking for local food at a good price and where locals like to eat. This is your place.

The roast beef wet sandwich was off the chain. The sandwich had so much beef and lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and pickles it was just juicy and you couldn't eat the whole sandwich in one setting. However it was delicious!
Fantastic. Everyone has seen this menu- seafood, roast beef po-boys and plate lunches. The difference here is that all is fried to order and that makes a difference. My wife had your basic shrimp po-boy, fresh, hot shrimp, crumbly french bread with fresh, cold lettuce and tomato. I had a soft shell crab on a bun. Excellent. The onion rings are great. I did not get any, but the fries looked hot and crispy. AND the service was great, too. At least three different staff stopped and checked in. A cut above your average po-boy joint.
