Restaurant is new and modern. The staff is very helpful. Food was okay we only tried breakfast items. Halwa puri and chai was good but paayee (cow feet) was below average, may be because of less salt and a lot of garam masala in it. We will definitely try other items on their menu soon.
A great Indian/Pakistani restaurant near Grove Street in Jersey City. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything here is made to order and is made fresh in front of your eyes. We ordered the Chapli Kebab, chicken seekh kebab and Tandoori Chicken for starters and chicken gravy and breads for mains. All the items were really good and the preparation was perfect. The wait time is slightly more as it's made fresh but it's worth the wait. Definitely recommend !
The interesting part of this restaurant is that grill and karahi menu items are cooked in the open kitchen. Tried Grill Chicken tikka boti here which was so tender and well seasoned and authentic. The mozang chicken karahi was cooked and served in the cast iron pan which tasted great. Definitely recommend this place to foodies who love Indo Pakistani
food.
A good restaurant serving Indian/Pakistani style food. The Kashmiri and Indian style tea we had was good and came with ample quantity. Samosa was done well and perfect for evening snacks. The place is located just across city hall and provides indoor and outdoor seating.
Karahi is Laree Adda’s speciality and freshly baked tandoori naan 🫓 compliment it. Takes a little over an hour to cook perfection, patience is well worth it.
Service was good reactionary but not proactive, waited 1 HR extremely patiently at the table prior to requesting plates, utensils, napkins which weren’t provided and had to remind the staff to kindly bring us the appetizer which was previously ordered 👎 🧐
Dessert was a miss, Falooda wasn’t available but ordered gulab jamun, kheer and Rasmalai which wasn’t tasty. This restaurant did well on appetizers though but wouldn’t recommend dessert items as they can certainly improvise.
Pink tea is mediocre and nothing beats Gourmet’s pink tea but that’s in Brooklyn.
Overall highly recommend the main food entrees as we tried a few and there’s plenty more to devour.
Thank you for reading!! 😁
We were searching for some halal food when we found this amazing restaurant by the corner of the street. Quality, Quantity, Taste and what not! The best Desi food I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for having us Laree Adda
Ate here during restaurant week and had the sample lunch menu, which was more than enough for 2. Ordered a naan and mango lassie to complement the menu and had a taste of many different delicious things we normally wouldnt eat. A tad spicy for me, but in a good way. Staff was nice and attentive despite being super full that day with a big party.
