Dropped in for Wednesday's Open Mic Night last night. It's always a surprisingly talented mix of regulars and new comers who take the stage. This place has an amazingly cool vibe and a veteran staff who seem to remember what beers and or coffee drinks each of the regulars likes! They are a very diverse venue and host an array of mostly local and regional bands along with various community activities. Whether you need to duck in for a quick coffee or camp out for a while with your lap top or a favorite novel, this place will definitely fit your plan. They also have a used book shop in the back and they also display and sell the works of various local artists, so each time I visit, it's a slightly different experience than before. The Mother Daughter team that owns and operates the shop has definitely done a fantastic job giving Johnson City the best coffee shop in town!
This is a great place. A perfect place to drink delicious coffee and read or write. Chill-ville. They also have a fantastic music room and top-notch performances. The Willow Tree is a cool atmosphere with wonderful people. Love the place.
Great place to relax. The staff is always wonderful. It’s a wonderful no judgement zone. Today the nerve damage in my hands were acting up really bad so I was shaky when I went to get my green tea. The employee working offered to carry it for me or switch it over to a to-go cup so I wouldn’t burn myself. This speaks volumes to me because they were quick to help without judging.

First time there was for the Dom Flemons w/ Amythyst Kiah show. What a great venue! Intimate and friendly yet spacious enough for a great crowd. The coffee was delicious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Wonderful place and we are looking forward to attending many more events.
Open mic night is always fun, the Apple chai latte is amazing and the quiche is the best!! Great atmosphere and fun staff!! �
