What a amazing gem in the middle of downtown Johnson city. I personally had never been but my mom, dad and sister were fans. I am now obsessed. Our server was top notch. He had me laughing and enjoying my whole time there even when I was ignorant and couldn’t pronounce the food hehe. And let’s not forget how obsessed I am with their food now. My family raised us on a lot of food like this and it exceeded expectations. 10/10 would recommend.
Great Mediterranean food in downtown. Was looking for a lighter option in downtown Johnson City and Red Meze hit the spot. Tasty hummus and friendly service. Just what we needed after a long day of driving.
Nothing better than a great meal at Red Meze! The food is fresh, flavorful and fast. Every time we visit I am amazed at the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere provided by the owner and staff. The prices are fair so you always feel like a winner in the exchange. 5 stars all the way!

I tried one of the kebab entrees with the gyro meat and it was fantastic! Great service and the food came out in a timely manner. I’m going to visit again to try more of their dishes!

I love this place!!! Their hummus is so fresh, their pita is like eating a cloud, and their gyros are perfection. Highly recommend!
Our dinner here was everything dining out should be—wonderful food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. There were 5 adults in our party. We all ordered different entrees and all were delicious. I will pass on Turkish coffee next time 😂 but the baklava was excellent. I cannot commend our server enough. She was so polite and engaging and attentive. The owner stopped by our table as well and made us feel so welcome. So glad to have found this gem of a restaurant and hope to return soon.
