Love the huge menu, great service and portion size. The seafood luau is the best!
Completely surprised by the quality of the food - especially for the price. Our server was welcoming and friendly. Our new favorite stop in Kahului. Try their take on loco moco, you won't be sorry.

Delicious and a must-try place! The food was fresh and full of flavor.
One of the best places on the island, food was so flavorful and the service was amazing!!!🌴🌺🌴🌺
Tante’s Island Cuisine’s local favorites and cuisine with a Filipino spin always satisfies. The chef’s always have the ability to make adjustments per your specific requests... I added just some onions and tomatoes to my scrambled eggs yesterday for breakfast, and that made my breakfast wonderfully-fantabulous! Plus, the service is number one, from beginning to finish. The wait help are always there to serve your requests, and always there to ask if anything else is needed... Three thumbs UP!
Can't believe anyone gives this less than 5 stars! It adjoins my hotel, and I'm hooked after the first day. Great for all meals, great service and friendly people. A hidden gem in Kahului.

What a great little hidden gem! Local filipino favorites, decent prices. Good downhome service by Leilani and Eken, and the rest. Plenty room.
Excellent service and best bangus silog for 🍳 breakfast
The food is so good amazing but one of d Sarver is not good it's not pilipina we went their last Sunday with my fren for breakfast
First time eating the Lilikoi pork ribs nd it was delicious.. Even the sweet potatoe salad was on point. Will be back. Aloha!!
Had great Filipino breakfast. Came out fast and hot. Never had to wait for refills on water or coffee. The portions were very generous. I plan to be back for dinner
We went to Dante's Island Cuisine based on a recommendation of a native Maui'ian. We ordered the phillipian baby back ribs & a side salad. The food was really good.

AWESOME BREAKFAST PLACE, Where do I even begin?
The waitresses were kind, sweet, attentive and bubbly!! Your coffee cup will never go empty, seriously. They are on point
The environment is peaceful, many locals but still very inviting fresh smell of pancakes…. Ahhhhh
Now the food!!! PANCAKES WERE FLUFFY, SUPER HOT AND FRESH! I LOVE FRESH!!
THE MEATS WERE TASTY AND SAVORY NOT GREASY. THE FRIED RICE WAS DELICIOUS
THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT, MUST COME AND TRY FOR SURE!!
MAKE SURE TO TIP HEAVY
Excellent food and service. Got the longganisa garlic fried rice. It was garlicky and the rice crispy. Egg yolk runny. Sauchicha salty. Simply perfection.
A hidden gem! Delicious food. Fantastic chicken huli.
Pretty good food, would definitely come back if I am staying at the connected hotel again. The menu is Filipino style, so just be aware when ordering. I had the beef short rib moco loco and the mat was very tender. The other people in my party got fish n chips and another fish dish. I enjoyed the cheesecake and the massive mud pie ice cream.
Amazing food, amazing service! Every server we had was friendly and super helpful! We came here pretty much every day of our stay for every meal because we didn’t feel to branch out since they had all the delicious Hawaiian and Filipino food I wanted to try while we were here!
We dined at Tante's twice during our stay at Maui Seaside hotel. The food was very good and the staff very friendly. Many locals dine here, celebrating birthdays, so you know it's good. They have traditional Hawaiian dishes and Filipino dishes, which was a first for me.
The portions are big, the kids cheese burger is much bigger than some fast-food restaurants.
The first time I had Kula Chicken with pineapple and the second time the Miki with rice and purple sweet potato salad.
I definitely recommend you give it a try! Plus you get a discount if you stay at the hotel.
This place never disappoints. Cozy place to eat. Mellow atmosphere. Friendliest wait staff. Very patient and helpful. We keep coming back
Walking like if you were going to the lobby but it’s on the immediate right before you walk in. Plan ahead this place is popular! We didn’t have to wait long, but there was a lot of people already.
Staff is friendly and attentive in the beginning. Food is great! Getting our check took a bit longer but we wasn’t in a rush
Friendly staff and delicious meals with a fair price. I loved the Shrimp Sari Sari, amazing mix of veggies + pork and shrimp. My husband had the Huli Chicken, which had a nice sauce - chicken breast was slightly dry.
They have lots of “local” and Philippino’s meal options.
We spent about $50 for two people (including drinks).
The last time I was in Maui, a few months ago, I ordered the Loco Moco from Tante's. I loved it! Not only was the dish amazing, it set me on the hunt for even better Loco Moco. Right after I placed my order, I saw it - Beef Short Rib Loco Moco. Now, it isn't Loco Moco in the traditional sense, but the rice, egg, short ribs, and sauce which reminded me more of a sweet demi glaze than a gravy. I still devoured the plate without much resistance.
The short rib was so tender it flaked onto the fork. The eggs were soft and runny, and it covered the rice with just the right amount of yolk. The rice was steamed and delicious. I cannot say more about how awesome this dish is.
I had coffee with my meal. A bagel sandwich was ordered by my wife and toddler. They both enjoyed the sandwich, with the little one smashing the cream cheese and smoked salmon faster than I could drink my coffee.
The vibe is awesome. Great decorations, and friendly staff. It is definitely a local favorite as it's always busy and full of life. We will continue coming to this great restaurant.
A quick bite before we headed to the airport.
Service was outstanding and the food hot and delicious.
Ps save room for the mud pie, extremely large, but really tastey.
A little dated yet has that at home feel. Food is delicious! My daughter gives it 5 stars. Service was fantastic. Would highly recommend!!
Great service and great food as always.
If ever you plan to go for breakfast or lunch no need for reservations, you just go walk in.
Their garlic fried rice and bangus. Halo halo is so refreshing as they put fresh avocadoes, purple potatoes, coconuts and etc.
You go out satisfied 😋
We stayed at the Maui seaside hotel and we decided to try this restaurant since it's right next to the hotel. We ordered the number 1 seller dish witch is crab cake and avocado egg Benedict and fish burger. They came in really big portion and they are also very delicious! The waitress there were very friendly as well. I
A special shout out to the staff at this place, very friendly and very caring.. Love their unlimited coffee! Great food, happy that we came across this restaurant! Amazing food as well!
Centrally located and with a respectably diverse choice of food, Tante's is a nice restaurant to eat for anyone in the Kahului area. Many of their plates feature multiple pieces of food that could be considered main courses and as such, you never need to feel pressured to order something you're not sure you're going to like.
The first time I ate at Tante's I ordered their spaghetti and meat sauce expecting it to be a Bolognese type sauce. In reality, it was more like spaghetti with chilli on top. Not very appetizing really, and it seems pretty clear Italian food is not really their specialty. Their island mixed plate on the other hand, is much more appetizing. The highlight of the dish is very clearly the teriyaki beef. The vegetables were cooked just right to still retain its crisp without being raw. The garlic shrimp was quite mild, but still decent. The only real complaint I had was the lilikoi BBQ chicken. In contrast to the shrimp which had very mild garlic flavoring at best, the lilkoi sauce is very strong and the chicken is practically drenched in the sauce. The flavor of the chicken is entirely suppressed by the very strong flavor of the sauce. If ordering this dish, I would strongly recommend having the sauce served on the side and flavoring to taste.
The atmosphere is OK, but it's a little disappointing that there are no booth options in the restaurant. The price point is affordable depending on what you order.
All in all, Tante's is a restaurant with a very diverse menu. The quality of the food can be a bit hit and miss, but the numerous "sampler" type dishes mean you don't have to overcommit to a single dish if it's your first time eating in.
Pictured here is the pork adobo & beef kalbi. The food here is so good! I highly recommend. The staff is friendly. Also had the short rib and it was so tender.
