We eat a LOT of Thai food, traveled there several times, even got engaged in Bangkok. This restaurant is the real deal! Flavors and textures were excellent, the meats were tender and juicy and there were lot of vegetables. The best Thai food we’ve had on US soil.
The staff was lovely and helpful, we can’t wait to come again, probably will every week!
Highly recommend for folks who truly understand authentic Thai foods. Thank you so much for a great evening. Strongly recommend ordering Family Style and sharing everything, let them arrange the order, but foods come up quickly.
Enjoyed our meal over at Royal Thai. We were staying close by and needed a hearty meal after a long day of travel. This certainly did the trick. They had a good assortment of dishes and the food came out extremely fast! They even have robots to help deliver dishes which is always a fun little twist.
Food was tasty, service was solid, and atmosphere was to be expected for the location. Would recommend the Siam chicken dish which was a standout for our meal.

The food was good. (Not happy about a surprise upcharge on our pad thai-said it came with shrimp, then got charged for shrimp, but oh well.) They have a cool machine to save the servers from carrying food and plates throughout the restaurant that was fun to watch. Overall a nice place for dinner our first night on the island.

The only disappointment I have is how late into the trip we discovered this place. We stopped by for a quick lunch after snorkelling. This is an awesome place 😭😍
My husband and I love Thai food and we make sure to order a fried rice every time we visit Thai restaurants. We tried so many places all the way from NY to WA and this restaurant competes with some of our top favourite Thai restaurants. This place truly deserves more positive reviews and ratings.
I was torn between basil fried rice and yellow curry fried rice (chicken). Upon the waitress’s suggestion, we ordered yellow curry fried rice level 4 spicy. Thank goodness we didn’t order level 5 spicy, 4 was spicy enough (in a good way) for us but if you are not used to eating spicy food, would suggest you to dial it down.
We also ordered chicken satay that came with a bunch of sauces that went really well with it.
Portion sizes are just about enough for each person. Service was quick and the food here isn’t very economical but if budget isn’t an issue, I would highly recommend this place!
My group of 10 all enjoyed this dinner stop. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were all happy at how quick the food was delivered. The rating system for the spice level was a little off according to my group. Some of them choose a 2 for the spice level, and decided it wasn't spicy enough. Not to worry, the waitress brought us extra hot sauce to adjust to our likeness :)
We have been to this place twice in our 5 day visit to the Big Island. The food is delicious. Service is decent and depends on the time of the day.
During lunch hours the restaurant wasn't busy at all and the service was super quick with no wait time to get seated. The 2nd time around though when we decided to get dinner we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get the table. The service was decent given the heavy crowd. The seating area is spacious and parking is very easy to find since it is located in a huge complex .
We came for a late lunch (around 1pm) and there weren’t many people so the service was fast. They have discounted prices on certain specialty dished from Tuesday-Friday lunch. The Thai iced tea was good and my chicken Pad Thai was good besides the rather soft texture of the chicken. I will say, the dishes can be pretty spicy so be aware of that. Overall, the restaurant looked very nice on the inside and the food was pretty good but a little pricey.
Absolutely loved the Sambal beef, very similar to Sichuan beef. We ordered medium spice which was perfect with a hint of sweet. They have a robot that carries the food to the table although a server actually gives it to you.
We've eaten at all the Thai restaurants on the Big Island This is by far the best. It's so good we try to eat there once a week. They cook the fresh vegetable that go into the dishes crisp tender, so, so good. The service is excellent. When they went on vacation we had withdrawal pains!
Great food reasonably priced, attentive service and wonderful raw materials make for a great time. Mahi Mahi in green curry on a bed of veggies topped with avocado and Mac nuts - the night's special - was incredibly good. Love this place!

Royal Thai was a delicious dinner & great service with wonderful ambiance! Their garlic stir-fry w/shrimp, dumpling soup & crunchy spring rolls were all fresh and more than enough food for two. Dessert of fried ice cream was a great way to top off this evening. Really hard working & kind staff We will return during our Kona vacation.
Great authentic Thai food. Pineapple fried rice was amazing. Two star spice level (out of 5) was a great lip tingling / runny nose level for this white guy! Higher spice levels are not for the faint of heart / palette.
Delicious, healthy, vegetarian friendly, and good happy hour deals. The pineapples curry was decent. Could have been better. But I have faith they have other dishes that are bomb. I will go back to try em next time :)
