I come here occasionally. The food is generally good. Tried the Korean bbq chicken sandwich and I was happy with it. I thought the bun was a little dry. Chicken thin and wide as opposed to thick and juicy. Not a problem, just depends on your taste. Not much Asian slaw, which I was particularly excited about. A nice spice. Fries were hot and crispy upon arrival. Overall, I had a good experience hanging at the bar with a friend.
The place has a pleasant ambiance with outdoor seating and a decent bar serving good draft beer. The food is generally good, with highly recommended potato skins, chicken fingers, and mango chicken (it has a nice flavor). However, the grilled salmon is deemed pricey for its quantity. The server, Maria, is friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food.

The server seemed busy but well attentive. Quite literally redefined grilled cheese and tomato soup for me. My wife is now hoping to find a comparable recipe at home. Either way, we're definitely gonna be coming back!
Very nice and friendly staff, great food. The Salsa Fresco Shrimp, and the Mile High Mint Mud pie taste nice
I've grown up coming here and still enjoy coming here somewhat regularly. The food and service is always good and consistent! They offer a wide range of food and change it up once in a while which is nice. Recommend the Pad Thai, tacos, wraps and burgers, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Save room for dessert, they have some of the best in Kalamazoo!
We stopped in for a quick lunch on a weekday. The food and service were both outstanding! We were not on a tight schedule but would have had no problem if we were. No more than 15 minutes after we were seated our orders were delivered to the table. The burgers, pulled pork sandwich and seasoned fries are very tasty! We highly recommend!
I had the Mediterranean salad with lemon poppy dressing yum! My date had the Salmon salad he enjoyed it. We also tried the Asian chicken mmm mmm...!!
For desert we had the cookie ice cream (can't remember the name) it was phenomenal as well. Everything was delicious and our salads were the half orders; we were stuffed!!!
We sat outside upstairs and it was a perfect day! The service was great, we really enjoyed this place 😀 😊
In the area for work and found this gem. We ordered prickly pear margarita and a glass of wine. We both thought we had great results with pot roast at our last resteraunt and we were wonderfully surprised as the pot roast here was amazing as well. Wonderfully tender real mashed potatoes with delicious gravy and fresh roasted green beans with onions. Waitress was even kind enough to bring my hubby a side of Texas toast that he thought would go great. Prickly pear margarita was really yummy. Bonus when the bill came it was $30 ! Mondays are 1/2 off. Highly recommend University Roadhouse if you are in the area! Thanks for a wonderful meal.
I ordered the New Orleans Pasta. There was just the right amount of spice! Very flavorful Alfredo sauce with seasoning. Also had shrimp and fried pickles for an appetizer and they were great!
Absolutely LOVED the place!! Our server was amazing, the food was delicious and our cups weren't empty for long before they'd been refilled. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to go. They offer alcohol and non alcoholic drinks, however they've only got a menu for the alcoholic beverages. Still recommend!!!
Large selection of appetizers, entrees, and beer. White chicken chili was very good. Had the parmesan crusted white fish. Good portion size and food tasted great. Place was clean and staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back again.
The outdoor seating was almost packed ! We had good meals the wings were awesome . Skip anything curry though, unless u like ur curry sweet
I loved University Roadhouse. My family and I were staying in Kalamazoo for the night and we were looking for somewhere to eat. We chose University Roadhouse after looking at there vast menu. I ordered a half order of a Reuben. My boyfriend and his son ordered the Southern style chicken sandwich and his daughter ordered the chicken mac and cheese. The food was excellent. The portions compared to the price was awesome. The servers were very nice and attentive. I am so glad we chose University Roadhouse. Whenever we come back to Kalamazoo, we will be back. Thanks.
We visited University Roadhouse after a super long drive from the Suburbs of Chicago. We stopped in for some yummy food to cure our hanger & we were greeted by such a nice group of hostess'! Our waitress, Taylor, was so attentive and kind, asking how our specific food was, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was very college hangout/ sports bar vibe which i liked. We started with potato skins and they were so crunchy and warm the ranch with them was delicious and im guessing homemade. I had the Dare Ya burger while my spouse had the Georgia Max burger. Both were HUGE, juicy and full of flavor. I didnt enjoy how much meat there was but it was still overall quite filling and delicious. Thank You, we will be back! ❤️
The atmosphere was really good here. Lots of TVs to watch sports. No big game in so the noose level was good and we could carry on a conversation. The choice of bears on tap was good although the beer of the month was Miller. Unwhelming choice. The Deuchettes was really good though, I highly recommend. My wife had the cod and I had the salmon BLT. The cod was really good and came with five pieces of fish. Very filling. The salmon BLT was okay. It was very easy and could had used a little more flavor and more bacon. Our server did a great job.
