Excellent service and delicious ice cream in a variety of unique flavors. The salted pecan cookie flavor is amazing, and they have a solid bittersweet chocolate ice cream as well. And the portion size was huge! Highlight of my day, I'll definitely be back.
Anytime anyone reaches for their dream and brings something new to our community I'm a supporter. I found the ice cream to be excellent and the serving size was just fine. As for the smell of your establishment ... it smelled like ice cream to me! And it looked like lots of families enjoying time together over your tasty treats. Great ice cream. A summer staple and tremendous addition to Texas Corners! Dark chocolate, salted olive oil and Vanilla. I've seen the very friendly staff be incredibly accommodating under ridiculous circumstances.
The flavors are lovely (the butter pecan and the coffee and the chocolates are my favorites so far) and the ice cream is very rich and creamy. The value is good too, I think. The single scoop is only $2 and the perfect size for my kids - and me - when I want to bring them out for a little treat. It's a great location, the store is bright and clean, and the teens serving are friendly and cheerful. Love the milk cans for seating at the counter! (But glad too for those benches outside on that north wall, because there's nothing like enjoying an ice cream cone outside on a warm sunny day! It would be great if they had a patio...)

Everybody was right, it does smell great in there! We just stopped in for a quart, at just over 6 bucks out the door we thought it was a good price for homemade anything! We will be back as well.

Nice and cozy Ice cream store. They have maintained very good cleanliness and the staff is very courteous. They have proper social distancing in place due to Covid-19. We tried their Madagascar Vanilla and Malted Chocolate. The flavor is not as sweet as your usual ice cream and can be improved. Spotted a fridge on the side with their Ice cream tubs fully stocked to go.
Update: we went back to try different flavors, the lemon curd was sold out and the owner was busy making a new batch!
Mackenna was amazing! Great customer service! She recommended that I try the lemon curd with blackberry sauce. And it was soooo good! I finally understood why it was sold out. I would love to go back for more. Their coconut chocolate flavor is a nice spin on bounty chocolate and was also enjoyable!
Update: Okay I tried their Apricot Sumac, and it was not overly sweet, but just right and tasted so fresh and amazing! Another winner! Great job! I am changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars👏🏻 my husband had their chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream which was also really delicious!
Update: 8/29 - Went Back and tried the Chocolate Coconut Almond fudge and it was really good. Hence the rating increase from 3 to 4 stars!
Tried out the icecream today at Lafayette's. The place is really clean and hygienic and is located in a good location. But the Icecream could be better. We tried the classic flavors Vanilla & Chocolate but they were just alright and a little bland. Hopefully the other flavors are better and will try them next time.
Great local ice cream shop that makes its own stock. Quality is superb, with lots of flavors that are outside of the expected range. Staff were incredibly friendly, helping answer questions and providing samples. Prices were fair and portions were plentiful. They even have a cooler full of pints you can buy to go! Only possible critique might be limited seating inside and around the business, but it's worth eating on the spot or taking to go.
Really good! Flavors, pricing and portions were spot on. I like that they offer some different flavors, such as olive oil/sea salt and habanero caramel. Both were exceptionally tasty and so different than the norm. I will say that the blue moon really lacked flavor. BF was a bit disappointed as this is his fave ice cream flavor. If I could offer any suggestion it would be for you guys to work on that blue moon flavor!
Went to Lafayette with the family. Lafayette make some of the best ice cream we have ever had (and we are picky). It's great to see it made in store with a high service level. Wish there was a location in our home town.

Delish! We have to stop in every time we have dinner in the area. One of the owners are very informative and will tell you everything you could imagine about their product. The Blueberry Cheesecake is amazing, the Haberno Carmel is out of this world, and the Butter Pecan is a staple in our household. Stop in and you will not be disappointed in the local flavors :)
I have been coming here since it opened and like the fact is local so I can support it. Ice-cream is always good but I think it may be time to increase ot at least change the flavours a little. Don't get me wrong, what they have is good...... But I would love to see a flavour of the month or similar just to change it up.
I'm from St. Louis, but I always make sure to hit Lafayette Creamery when in town. This is my favorite ice cream place! Delicious, unique, friendly and quality.

Unique ice creams. No seating. Only 16 flavors at any one time. But the ice cream is delish.
