Don't let the outside of this building fool you! It looks rather small from outside and it could use an updated sign but it's quite the gem inside. We went here on our vacation after a recommendation from a friend. She said it was the best food she had in Kalispell. And it didn't disappoint! We came on a Sunday night and had the short ribs and lamb. So good! We also ordered a kids size of the pasta dish, which was also devoured by the kiddos. Note that they don't have a kids menu, but you can order kids size portions of their regular menu items. My husband and I each had a craft drink as well which was delicious - actually it was probably one of the best drinks I've had!
We stopped in here on a recommendation of a coworker because I live right by here and didn't even know they served food. We ordered the garlic bread, falafel, and my mom got a burger. We loved our food and our drinks. The staff was super friendly and everytime someone came in the door they always greeted them and helped them right away. There was limited seating but everything worked out and while we were there no one had to wait for a table. We will definitely be going back.
All I can say is “Wow!” What an absolute gem. The food was spectacular. We had the Brussels sprout Caesar salad and the Parmesan fries. Absolutely delicious. We had several cocktails and were blown away with the flavors as well as the unique combinations. The bar manager, Nick was personable and highly knowledgeable. By far, one of the best dining experiences in the Flathead valley. We WILL be back.
This is such a fun/friendly/clean and tasty establishment. This was our first visit and the staff was busy but did not let that take away from the friendly service and prompt food/drink delivery. We ordered a burger, nachos and a couple different drinks- all very well made and worth a second visit! 20/10 stars!
Great restaurant hidden in a small cottage. The best food I have eaten on my 12 day trip here in Montana. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try their garlic loaf appetizer and the chicken shawarma. Absolutely phenomenal!
We really enjoyed the food at Whitefish. We had the falafel and chicken shawarma. Both had excellent flavors and freshness. The cocktails were not for us, mostly juicy, served with crushed ice. The restaurant had cozy vibes inside, but we elected to sit outside due to COVID. Outside space was adequate. Picnic tables with shade and a fire pit.
Wonderful experience. I'm from Wisconsin and was looking for the Montana feel and this place really hit the mark. Food is great. My whole party ate without talking because they were just happy to enjoy the food. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I wish we had this place back home because I would come back whenever I could. (great job showing how a restaurant and it's food should be. Lol. Milwaukee has some catching up to do. I'm currently sitting in the restaurant reviewing this because I'm completely happy with it.)
Don't let the name of this place mislead you. Every food item ordered here was delicious and the effort put into each is reflected in the taste. (The drinks were great too.)
