We had a lovely dinner. The service was amazing. The food was fresh and worth every cent. The prices are very affordable.
Great food, good service, lovely ambiance, we needed a place like this in the area. Definitely will return and recommend!
I am not a "fish person" but the sea bass at Rigo's is phenomenal! It melts in your mouth , I highly recommend it. We have never been disappointed in any meal at Rigo's; the food, the people, Rigo & his family - all wonderful!
Fabulous!!! Wonderful ambiance with a menu that is 5 star plus! Relaxing dinner music and a staff that is second to none. Just left and am already looking forward to our next visit! Fine dining at it's best!
The best restaurant in town and it is affordable. I always order the lamb shank or something with the signature champagne sauce. Very consistent, always excellent! And the owner and his family are good people!
Delicious. Crab cakes are out of this world. My fiancé and I love it there!!! The piano player is a great touch.
Food was excellent - decor was very nice - service was great - never had an empty glass!
Highly recommend this.

I came home to visit family and we ate at Rigo's. It was awesome. The serves is top notch and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend everyone to give them a try. You will not regret it.
This is one of the best restaurants in Kankakee. Never disappointed. The spinach at Easter buffet was outstanding. The lamb was delish. Great job.
Blackened chicken and shrimp was amazing. Fiance had ribs and loved them. Calamari steak was different, not my kind of texture.
Always have a great meal there. The place is clean and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant. Highly recommend.
Let's be real..best crab cakes. Start there. I go here often, but realized tonight I needed to leave a review. I walked in with roses and asked for a vase..got it, made mother's day that much better. Had a wonderful 2fer set up. As always you are treated like family..son seats you, pops cooks! They are incredibly underpriced so go there before they realize it. Like foreal...if they are open while reading this, don't think just go! Incredible atmosphere..you might forget where you are..bet you will! You're the man Angel!
After having a bad experience at another restaurant we ended up at Rigo's and oh what a difference. We showed up 5 minutes before opening and were welcomed by a very gracious host. The place is very clean and classy. Waiters were super professional. Food was delicious. I ordered sea bass and my husband got the tenderloin. Bread was great but the salad was only one slice of tomato and one of cucumber with a bunch of lettuce. Great music. We're from out of town but if we ever go back to Kankakee we'll definitely eat at Rigo's again. The menu has lost of options to explore. Parking lot was large. By the way, they speak Spanish!
The taste of the Big City without the big city traffic!! The ambiance was very nice, conducive to having a lovely dinner. The live pianist was a very nice touch. For starters we ordered the saganaki "flaming cheese" then were served rolls , soup and salad. Just as we were finishing that, the entrees came out. Everything was served in a timely manner. Our waitress offered the specials and was helpful in helping me decide on the Poulet Bleu, which was a chicken entree with blue cheese and brandy sauce. It was delish ..My wife got the chicken marsala and she really loved it. Dinner pricing for most entrees was in the $20-25 range per person. It was nice to go somewhere that offered unique menu items for the area. Can’t wait to go again!
Crab cakes with champagne sauce- *chef's kiss*
Shrimp de la casa was delicious and the service was outstanding. Creme brulee was among the best I've ever had. (I heard the tiramisu was amazing as well, I didn't catch a photo of it unfortunately). 10/10 would recommend
First time at Rigo's Place, and we loved it! Phenomenal food, great service, and wonderful ambiance.
I went on a date this place made the entire night amazing wonderful staff beautiful music great company everyone was right on top of things to make sure it was a great experience..... Upstairs is so amazing! Champagne sauce is to die for...Noel did a great job making us feel right at home!
Great food with a very neat ambiance. The food has a little kick to it. I had the blackened chicken and had to keep drinking water in between bites. Not horrible where it ruined the taste, just something to note. My boyfriend had the Italian sausage pasta and said it had a little kick as well. The shrimp is nice size, almost seemed like two put together. We had the tomato soup and it was beyond delicious, not sure how they spruced up tomato soup like that. Really enjoyed this restaurant.
Had a very nice waiter named Austin he remembered us from another restaurant won't mention the name in this review out of respect for Rigo's place. Food was delicious, atmosphere wonderful. Will be returning to this place again prices weren't so bad either for such a nice place matter fact they were excellent prices for the food that you get.
We stopped in Kankakee on our way south from Chicago and looked for a decent place to eat. Rigo's is decent, but not much more than that. Very old fashioned and lacks the freshness you will find in Chicago or even in Champaign. Service was great.
