What a fun place!! The Manager helped with parking so my friend's 97 year old mom could be close to the front door. Nico, our Server, was great! She hit all the points of service: prompt warm greet, great menu tour, check back and excellent prebusing. On top of all that the food was tasty! I enjoyed the Taco/Enchilada combo with rice and beans. NOTHING LEFT TO TAKE HOME!! DELICIOUS!! THANKS NICO, and your Manager, FOR MAKING OUR HOLIDAY LUNCH SO MUCH FUN!!

Great atmosphere and staff. The food was really good. Be sure to ask for the Creamy Jalapeno Dip. It's not on the menu; you have to ask for it.

Very fun place, easy to order food, house made tortilla chips and get the jalapeno ranch dip which is awesome. Good food, very friendly staff. Great place for the entire family.

Really enjoyed Chuys. It was a fun and colorful restaurant. There’s so much to look at while you wait. The menu has typical Tex-Mex dishes. Our meal was really tasty. The drinks were good. The food didn’t take long to come out and our waitress was very attentive. They have a balcony you can sit outside and eat that has nice views of Kansas City.

I’ve been to a few other Chuy’s in different states and this one is by far my favorite!! They have the best Tex-Mex food and such funny and kind workers! The restaurant is bigger than expected and has so much to look at, and they have balcony seating as well!

Gluten free menu! Just ask your server(see photos). This is actually pretty good texmex. Our enchiladas were great!

Food was great and servings were large. This was well worth the visit. Add the seasoned beef to the queso, you won't be disappointed. The steak was delicious and well seasoned. They have a variety of sauces sure to please. Overall recommend to anyone traveling through to give them a try.

Came in for an early dinner. Was seated and serviced pretty quick. The restaurant itself has an interesting vibe, to say the least. Got queso as an appetizer. I ordered the Comida Deluxe, and she got a taco salad with shrimp. Both were more than a sizable portion. Everything tasted well and fresh. The only issue I had was getting water refills, and the check seemed very spaced and not prioritized.

This place is amazing! First time here and I love that their salsa is cut fresh and spicy! I can taste the jalapeño! I got their chicken burrito with the green hatch sauce and IT WAS AMAZING! I will definitely be back! Best tex mex in the plaza!

Delicious! The chips are thin and crispy! Salsa is spicy but I prefer it that way! The quest was awesome! Chuychanga with Boom Boom was amazing!!

We arrived with 21 people on a Sunday afternoon and they had us seated in 10 minutes. Our waiter, Glenn, was great! He was super friendly and attentive to everyone at the table. Even the large group of children we had. The food was very good. You have to try the dill/ranch sauce. Even with such a large crowd all the food was hot when brought out.

Pretty good Tex-Mex in Missouri (and Kansas). I was born and lived most of my life in Texas. I've eaten at Chuy's many times over the years in multiple locations. In Texas, this is good, but not great Tex-Mex. As a Texan, you go here because someone else in your party wanted to go here or because you just want to give it another try after a year or two. Here in the Kansas/Missouri area, you go here because there just isn't anything better for Mexican Food. So, one of our sons from Texas is temporarily living with us, and he was dying for some true Tex-Mex and this is all there really is in this part of the country. Food was good, Margaritas were excellent, the salsa fresca served with warm chips to the table was way better than anything else in this area. For some reason, it seems the Mexican places in Kansas want to make salsa with ketchup or marinara. Very weird. We'll come back, but it is not convenient to drive this far from Olathe, so it won't be often.

Such an eclectic restaurant right on the Plaza in the heart of KC. Our waiter Glenn was fantastic, repeating the details of each menu item we ordered and an amazing personality. Photo is steak burrito with Boom Boom sauce. Spicy but not murderous 💯 recommend!!

Seated quickly, staff was pretty friendly and the chips n' salsa tasty. We didnt have much time for that though as the food was out just as fast. Its pretty good! Huge portions for a good price. Almost felt rushed though I am sure it wasn't on purpose. We had a good time, so it was pretty alright.

They have won the KC margarita competition several years running. I went in, thirsty after a long day on the road, and asked the Bartender to come up with something he likes. Ended up with a shaken blackberry margarita....it was superb. The best maragarita I have ever had. Also, they have a great management team.
