Visiting from Florida and my brother brought me here. Food and menu were exciting and sure didn’t disappoint when served. I had the Chile rubbed chicken wing appetizer and then a spicy bleu cheese burger. I’m gluten free and was impressed with my wide array of choices. Great service and our server was nice and knowledgeable. Great job!
We've been to Red Door three times now. Every time it's been awesome. Everything we've tried has been awesome - the meat loaf, the fried chicken, the Cajun pasta, the prime rib, the pimento cheese, etc. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is always very friendly and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints, and I recommend it to anyone who's going to be in the area.
I've been to the Red Door before, I love this place. The food is always top notch. Their rotating beer selection is always excellent. I also enjoy the "Classic" beers they offer, Hamms, Pabst to make a couple. Our most recent server, Indira, was awesome! I can't wait to go back!!
I loved my experience at the bar. It was happy hour and had the best calamari!!! The Brookside 75 martini was also delicious! Great service too! Bartenders were amazing! I think they were Luke and Jenny!
First time coming here and the food was ridiculously good. Our server and the staff was also phenomenal
Excellent service and outstanding food I’m gone have to go back soon ..... much better than those chain restaurants were you have to send your food back and they still don’t get it right, for the money you spend you get a great value and more than enough food
Service and food was excellent during a busy dinner time. We had two or three people check on us through out our meal. Loved the beer selection and prices.
I would go back again and the overall experience was amazing. Great food, drinks, service and location. Very clean and the red velvet cake is to die for.👍🏻
Everything was great from service to food. Highly recommend
Visited this restaurant during a trip to the Kansas City area and it was good. I got the meatloaf and it was a little different than the meatloaf I am used to as it comes with a tomato-based topping and this one seemed to come with a gravy. It was still good however. My son got a grilled cheese and he liked it. They have quite a few local beers and the have weekly food specials too. Nice restaurant and would go back if in the area.
Menu has a great variety. Atmosphere is welcoming and quiet enough that you can hear the conversation at your table without yelling. The sirloin steak had great flavor, and the slaw added a nice touch to the fried jalapeño chicken sandwich. Their jalapeño hot sauce was excellent and I got a bottle to take home. Madison B was an awesome server & went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Looking forward to coming back here the next time I’m in KC.
Love Red Door and the food is always amazing. I had the Sirloin Steak and it was delicious. Our server Tim was awesome however his manager tried kicking us our party of 15 out due to us being here for 2 hours and even though nobody told us there was a time limit when the reservation was made. I’ll go back to the Lee’s Summit location going forward since there was a lot of unprofessionalism displayed from the moment the manager came over. Many stares and dirty looks from the rest of the leadership team who were watching us the rest of the time we were there. Tim was an amazing server though and would be the only reason to give this location another chance.
This is by FAR the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in the area. The food here beats most white cloth experiences on the plaza or elsewhere in KC. Their pretzel bites are addictive and I don’t even usually like pretzels!
Their fried chicken is the best I’ve had anywhere, period. I don’t know how they do it but it is fantastic.
I have had 3-5 of their lunch/dinner options and they all were great. I’ve had 2-3 of their brunch/breakfast and was not disappointed. The bottomless mimosas are true to their name and you better leave or they will just keep filling up your glass!
Service is always top notch and on top of everything. We will be coming back more than we should for the years to come.
Can't say enough - Excellent!
We all enjoyed the Sheetpan Nachos with Carne Asada. I really liked the Wedge!! I typically like Buffalo Wings, but the Charred Woodfired Wings were great.
This place was incredible. I hate calamari & actually loved it here. That's how I knew it was gonna be great. Each dish is prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The flavors are flavoring.
I had the calamari, beignets, and the cure burrito minus the chorizo. There were so many eggs in the burrito that I've pretty much had my protein for the day. The sauce on top of the burrito was creamy and phenomenal all the way around.
The service was excellent. Our server was funny and let his personality shine through. He got the dogs water and made sure our drinks were full and we were shielded from the rain.
Highly recommend choosing this as a dog friendly brunch (or any meal) when you're in the area!
Great experience. Our party of 3 arrived shortly after 5 on Saturday evening and were seated immediately. Service was prompt, courteous and attentive without being suffocating. Food was fresh and delicious. My grilled salmon was done very well and the veggies were excellent. We also ordered the meatloaf and the ancho glazed chicken; both dishes were excellent. The pecan pie and cheesecake were very good. The bar appeared fully stocked.
The restaurant has a sports vibe to it. With televisions arranged around the dining area with different games. This could enhance the dining experience or detract from it, depending on your mood. For us it was fine.
Highly recommend. We will go back if we return to Kansas City.
I absolutely love that the tomato soup comes with a fried cheese ball!!!! I think the potato soup is seasonal but it was so hearty!!! The fried jalapeños chicken sandwich and meatloaf were also amazing. everything was 10/10
A nice place with cozy booths and beautiful decor. Must have a reservation to dine in on weekends. Server was pretty young so didn’t know much about alcohol but overall very friendly service. Food was good. Giant stylized paintings of sexy female celebrities on the wall. Could have gone for a sexy male celeb to break up the mix tbh. Nice place.
We loved the Red Door it was so dang good! The Ancho Glazed Half Chicken with roasted street corn is legit. If you're looking for a dessert try the Key Lime pie you won't be disappointed. Service and atmosphere were also excellent making for an all around great dinner experience.
