Amazing breads! It's even fun to stand in line in the cold, waiting to pick up your order.
The very best bread I have ever had. Great variety and the Orchard bread is superb.
I had gone my whole life without giving bread a second thought......until I wandered into your bread shop while killing some time. That was a year and a half ago and I have been at your door bright and early every other Saturday at 9:30 since then. We have also been to your cheese slipper Saturday nights a number of times. I feel like I'm investing in art......plus, I have grown to really like your staff.'One of my favorite places in Kansas City - and I drive in from Overland Park.

I just picked up some of their quinoa bread and chocolate chunk cookies. Both are so delicious and they were kind enough to hold my order even though they were sold out and closed.
There simply isn't any better bread in KC! And . . . heirloom tomato, basil, garlic cheese slipper is the tastiest treat I can imagine!
We were in your bakery for the first time today. I am not a huge fan. Your breads are incredible and the selection is awesome. I live up north but will be back often. Thank you for making tonight's meal special.
Everything you bake is amazing g. I Love the Sprouted Whole Wheat Bread
My 1st experience and I simply cannot wait until they open back up. When is that again?!
Another wonderful Saturday night, all made possible by the cheese slipper. We always bring our boys and they love everything about the whole experience.
Cheese slippers are to die for!!
I feel as though I had a slice of heaven tonight.
Best bread ever. Truly ever.
Best bakery in middle part of America! I Ake bread and pastry at home, so I can tell they really love and try to make something special and different. Earl grey bun is full of flavor. The seasonal filling croissant, instead of cream cheese filling, which is the most common filling is America, is filled with lemon flavored custard. And Kouign aman, tastes kind of like the famous cronut of Dominique in NYC. Ciabatta is perfect, crispy skin and moisture inside. With those charming holes, it’s been rising for a long time. The service is also perfect and sweet. Will absolutely be back when I am in KC.
The best bakery in Kansas City. I had this pastry pictured below i couldn't pronounce. It's about the best damn thing I've ever eaten. Buttery deliciousness. I've also had their cinnamon rolls, bear claw, and orchard bread which are all terrific Call ahead and reserve what you want or go early.
Hands down my favorite bread shop. Quaint and rustic. Reminds me of Europe. We call ahead our order any time we are driving thru. Cheese slipper and olive breads are our favorite. Tried two sweet baked goods from their new partnership. I would highly recommend the kouin amann: light, airy, sweet, crunchy.
They have the best bread and the best staff ever! The cheese slipper is personally my favorite from the menu. It is definitely precious cargo. If you really want a specific item I would call a day or so before and place an order for pickup. They sell out very fast. If you don't pre-order I would recommend getting there as soon as they open.
This place is amazing! The ciabatta and croissants are to die for. Fruit bread is also delicious! (Not fruitcake)
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s not cheap, but considering the incredible quality I would still consider it a good value. You get what you pay for, after all.
What a great bakery! Picked up a few goodies and my mom and I took bites of before I took pictures 😂 Everything was delicious!
What a gem in the heart of West Side KC! It is a must when you are an early riser on weekends. Service is fast and with a smile. There are many other items for sale other than bake goods.
I decided to go here because my usual doughnut shop was closed. I got here at 10:30, and it’s very obvious why he was almost out of bread.
The cheese slipper is an absolute must - we couldn’t stop eating it at home! His base bread recipe is fantastically delicious! So of course adding cheese just made it that much better.
I also got the last pan of cinnamon rolls, and wow! They were moist all the way through and the flavor was amazing.
Lastly, a friendly smile and customer-centric attitude always tops things off. Fervere is now a staple for our family, so thanks so much for the amazing breads!
Rating on the food: 5/5. As my family and I travel the world, we always search for the best food. I would rate this one in the top 3 my husband and I have ever had. We will absolutely stop by again when we are in the area!
Plan to pick up and go. There are very few seats and the bathroom was clean and served it's purpose, but tiny and uninviting. There is not room to change a diaper in there and my toddler and I had to do a crazy little dance so that there was room for us to be in there together.
My husband is French. He loves this bread. I think that’s all you need to know. Or maybe you want to know our favorite- the Heirloom Polenta. Pastries are great too. They have limited hours, and supply (they sell out! Understandably)- so plan well, and maybe even call ahead.
