I can't believe that it took me so long to eat here. Herrera's (no relation that I'm aware of) Tenderloin Grill is nothing to look at, but the food is great, and the service quick, and personable. It's a hole in the wall, but don't let that deter you. The pork tenderloin is thin and juicy with a crispy crust. The mustard, sauce, and horseradish add good flavor and the tiniest bit of heat. The hand cut fries are thin fried bits of goodness. Next time, I'll try the pig snoot.
Excellent neighborhood place with the best tenderloin sandwiches I've ever had. I saw this on Bizarre Foods and am surprised it's been there since 1932 and most people still don't know about it.

Yummy. I went there. It is on the corner, across from that Liquor store. The fries are unique. Wide,and cut flat and thin, like a fried potato. The Tenderloin I got was not huge, but it was very good. They are only $4. Very good. They have a $3.00 or $3.50 special from 3-5PM. YUMMY! Not too greasy either.. its the best tenderloin I have had in a LONG time. They are the battered kind.
Great Tenders. West side tradition here, The crispy tenderloins are to die for. Make sure you get everything on them (including the hot sauce). I have a friend who eats the snoot sandwiches and says they are great, but that's a little too adventurous for me.
Loved that it was part of the River Marketplace. Tenderloin was fine. It's pretty bland if you don't want a lot of flavor. If I go there again I'd probably get a burger or the chicken tenders. The fries were delicious!
This is the real deal tenderloin joint for people who know tenderloins. These aren't those huge hubcap size, no meat, frozen jobs. Single is sufficient for most appetites but I'll probably go double next time. Best fresh cut french fries you'll find. Well done!!!
We really enjoyed our lunch. The burnt ends were extremely awesome, as was the pulled pork. The dessert of carrot cake was uniquely delicious. It was warm and hit the spot. Arrived at 11:15 for our lunch, and we were seated immediately. Great atmosphere and delightful service!

I believe the guy was working by himself yesterday but he was able to get the orders filled in a very timely many.
These tenderloin sandwiches are amazing, 1 is enough for 2 people or 2 meals.
We had a wonderful lunch the other day. Our burgers and fries were on point and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Possibly THE BEST burgers in town. A nice huge juicy burger with cheese, onion, pickle, horseradish sauce and their special hot sauce (no tomato for me). It was perfection! The tenderloin was a tasty option also. But in the end...I will never pass up the burger.

Great bacon cheeseburger & onion rings fresh made to order. Great service and quick. Would definitely come back. Clean table was hard to find.
Hands-down barn and the best sandwich I’ve ever had. It was enough for two but it tasted so good I ate it all in one meal. The french fries are cut thin and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back.
Best burger ever. Even after new ownership I'm happy to see Nancy (heir to Richard Herrera) is still making the sauce.
