My friends and I are on vacation and one of our first nights here we stumbled upon Ono. Now over the week we’ve had some amazing dinners on the island, but Ono is the one I cannot stop thinking about. The food was outstanding - super flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing for dine in. I loved it so much I’ve gotten carry out from them twice since then. It’s amazing for lunch and for dinner!
The dish I keep getting is the Mushroom Masala with mild spice and an order of garlic naan. I tried my friends dishes as well and everything there taste amazing. If you want a high quality meal definitely stop here and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! When I dined in I got a pina colada - which were served with amazing cherries.
I have pictures from when we dined in posted which is of the Mushroom Masala, Garlic Naan, & the Pina Colada. I also have a picture of my take out (ignore the Starbucks cup in it). The dine in photo shows very little of the garlic naan - my friends took some from the basket already, rest assured you get a generous portion!
I will miss this place a lot once I fly home. I definitely hope to be able to visit it again in the future!

The food was delicious and very well seasoned. The service was great, and had a family owned vibe. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive at our table but was well worth the wait. The only improvements I might suggest are offering glasses of ice for the water on the table as it was room temperature and during the ordering process notifying the customers the meals do not come with rice. Other Indian restaurants I’ve dined at when you order a meal they come with rice and that’s not the case here so I would’ve like to have been told that so I could’ve ordered rice with my meal. Otherwise a great experience and I will definitely be back.

I'm a small business owner and know how hard it is to get started and this place was just lovely.
The staff was kind, welcoming and attentive.
We are here on vacation and always skeptical about Indian but this was SPOT on delicious.
We had Pakore which was large, fresh and crisp!
The butter chicken and chicken Tikka masala were delightful.
Garlic and butter naan were fresh, hot and homemade for sure!!!
Don't pass this place up.
I like this place and give them credit for bringing Indian cuisine to Kauai! 5stars!!
Why 5stars? Let me tell you… the food is probably farm to table. The ingredients and spice taste are just superb. I’ve never found this anywhere besides New York City or my personal family friends homes. To find this in Kauai is just awesomeness that you all should try. It will change your life.

Service is good. They are obviously new and still decorating, but that will come with a family owned restaurant.

Note: order the spicy level at MEDIUM to test it out. It was really hot spicy at Medium.

I had one of the best sea food in Kauai at an Indian restaurant, tandoori shrimp and grill fish were just delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste the spices of INDIA.
Ordered take out from here last night after a busy day at work. Restaurant had just opened for business earlier in the week. The owners were there, and I was greeted with a smile and friendly “welcome to our new restaurant!” Very cozy and well designed space. Service was excellent. Food was absolutely delicious. So grateful to have amazing Indian food in Kauai. Definitely will be back!
O-No? O-Yes! Dinner was delicious. This was our first time dining at Ono and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Chana Masala and Coconut Curry. The outdoor patio is peaceful and the lights make for a nice background while dining. Will definitely return! Before and after pictured.

From the cozy interior to the very patient and friendly servers, this has many unique Indian dishes to dine in. The chicken and rice had a unique taste of spices that me and my family absolutely loved. The servers are kind and considerate, patient and help you in any way. I would definitely eat here again, with family and friends!
This place was awesome!! The food was amazing and we loved the fusion influences and their unique take on classic Indian dishes. We live here and our so happy we have a well priced and delicious spot. Hope this place stays around
One of the best Indian food on the Kauai island. The food is so delicious that within 5 days of our trip, I had dinner there 4 times and lunch twice. The best dishes I loved was Fish coconut curry, butter chicken, grilled shrimp and Chicken kabob. Even the naan bread are so soft and fluffy. Chef nailed all the dishes on menu. Service is good too. The owner is very friendly and welcoming! My 3yr old enjoyed every bite of his food. His favorite was chicken nuggets
Great authentic Indian food on the island. They can make any dish with coconut milk, just ask! We tried a bit of everything, portions could be a bit bigger but still highly recommend. Atmosphere is sweet and clean.
On the main road but doesn’t feel like it! AND most importantly—Wonderful food! We had Vegetable Jafrezi, Vegetable Coconut Curry, Basmati rice and Nan. Delicious! One of the absolute best choices for vegans and vegetarians on the island. Relaxed atmosphere; sit inside or on a patio. Off-street parking. The owners are so nice! We’ll be back!
Everything we tried had different well seasoned taste, every dish in ample quantity. The well seasoned team seems quite well rooted to please your palate in their new location. We will be back for more….
This place is the best Indian food on island. When they changed locations and were closed for a short time everyone was begging for them to reopen. They have options for all diets including vegan and vegetarian. They’re samosas, coconut curry, korma, garlic naan, herbed naan…. All so delicious you’ll be craving it all week.
