Wow, I recently had the most incredible fish tacos, and I can't stop raving about them! The combination of perfectly crispy, flaky fish paired with fresh, zesty toppings was a flavor explosion in every bite. The tortillas were soft and warm. These tacos left me craving more, you absolutely must try these tacos!
This was a great pitstop. The staff was amazing and the tacos are great. Got the Mahi fish tacos and the steak tacos were amazing. The rice and refried beans were the perfect side. Our picky teenager gave his stamp of approval to the Quesadillas, and our kido discovered he actually liked refried beans that came with the kids chicken taco. All around a great find, quick service, and a stead stream of customers.
This place has an awesome vibe I had Biria tacos, they were ok, but not the best Biria I have had. Their other food looked ok.
Happy Taco is a great stop for a fresh, delicious lunch that won’t break the bank in Kapa’a. They make their tortillas fresh and they tasted fresh, and we tried the carne asada and al pastor which were both excellent! The picnic tables in front have shade and the plants on their patio are lovely. 10/10 for quality and value, we visited twice for filling lunches during our week in Kapa’a - can’t recommend enough!
Best Mexican Food on Kauai. I know I know, your in Hawaii and should be eating seafood but I was craving some TexMex and being from Austin this did not disappoint. Keep it up El Taco Felize. We will be back!!!!!!!!

This very unassuming Taco stand has amazing Mexican food. My go to is the burrito Mojado. It is loaded with meat, beans, guacamole and flavor, and is one of the best I have had anywhere. The enchiladas and fish tacos are excellent choices as well. If you want some kick, ask for the rlgreen salsa. The family that runs this place are some of the nicest people you'll meet here.

We've been visiting Kauai since the 90s from southern California where authentic Mexican food is available. I noticed that Mexican food was getting popular in Kauai and other islands. They do have great fresh fish and shrimp. However I was having a hard time finding a good tortilla here in Kauai. Finally I found this small place that the owner had been making tortillas and fresh salsa sauce from scratch!!
I ordered mahi mahi tacos and they were delicious!
The owner and a young lady who was helping her were very nice and attentive.
We will definitely come back here again!!

Ordered the shrimp quesadilla and shrimp tacos. They did not have the most flavor but it's better than the other Mexican places around. Ordered a side of guacamole and the guy working forgot to put in my bag. Couple minutes later he came running down street with it. Pretty awesome of him and it made everything that much better. I'm from Napa, CA where Mexican food is top notch.
The fish tacos here were phenomenal. 10 out of 10 would go back. The chicken burrito was also delicious and in no way overwhelming to do both. Hot sauce could be spicier but that’s a nit picky thing. The green is the spiciest but not by much. Plan to sit and enjoy people watching as they walk past or the chickens that have made a home under the truck. You won’t be disappointed.
