The employees were so nice. Really made us feel the ALOHA š¤š½. Food was yummy.
We traveled to Oahu from Oklahoma and came back to La Tour because we loved it our first visit a few years ago. The staff in there this evening (6/29/21) were lovely, so friendly and helpful! Our food was yummy. Our kids ordered Mac n Cheese and they loved it! We had a pastry, I can't remember how to spell it... but it was like a slightly sweet and sticky Cresent that was so good- after eating it he says "now my life is complete!" By our son's request, we are coming back tomorrow!
Delicious! I ordered the Wagyu melt and garlic pommes fries. The melt had super buttery toasted bread, Wagyu beef, cheddar, grilled onions and JalapeƱos. I had the jalapeƱos on the side in case they were too hot. I tried it with and without the jalapeƱos. I am not a spicy fan but it was perfect with the jalapeƱos, gave it the right mix of flavor. The onions were grilled well without being mushy. The garlic fries had a ton of garlic and butter on them. With all the butter and garlic the fries still were not mush. Enough fries in one order for 2-3 people to share, just ask for more than 3 packets of ketchup which is all I got for this box of fries. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and kept the covid distance rules. They smiled at me which seems to be rare in Hawaii for customer service.
They made a very minor mistake on an order and went far above and beyond to fix it, and the food was incredibly good besides. Highly recommend their pizzas.
The la tour cafe is right by the regal commons 12 movie theater . They have a wide variety of options to choose from . They have coffees , food and desserts they specialize in macaroons and I must say they are delicious !! It's a must visit place to try tropical flavor macaroons .
Great service and food. Cāest bon!
Great food, service, drinks.. the Li hing lemonade and wagyu melt were wonderful. Great garlic fries too, and a lot of them. Good price points for the quality and quantities, too. Amazing macarons.
Their food is wonderful. Their baked foods, macaroons are sinful. My go to sandwich is their French dip. Excellent. Their Mac & cheese makes any kid smile (even if that said kid is 65). Their mint H2O is divine.
La Tour Cafe is a great place for pastry / desert fix.
My wife and I always drop in to grab something to fill that sugar craving we get after dining at DB Grill.
I love to eat at LA tour, but there prices are a little steep. Especially if you're ordering 4 meals. Great products though, love the environment too.
How to you make a delicious macaroon even better? Dip it in Verona chocolate so that it grows double it's size. Yum!
Good sandwiches, got the Wagyu melt and French dip. Both were really good. The pile of salad that came along with it was also great. If you are feeling like fancy sandwich time, can't go wrong with this place.
My wife and I ordered two different sandwiches and hers was actually a test for her being it was the first time and she was not disappointed. It was a cheese sandwich with apples and some other stuff. We shared a French Onion soup and each got iced teas from Cofffe Bean and Tea and the meal was perfect
Soup and sandwich are both very good. The macarons aren't good. They taste too buttery and sugary and don't depend enough on the fullness of the intended flavor. This flavor punch and softness of the shell are the hallmarks of a proper french macaron. That said, these are pretty typical of Hawaii as they seem to have the same recipe everywhere I try them on the island leading me to think this is what a Hawaiin macaroon is.
