Our golf club plays Kapolei when scheduling permits … They don’t allow club play before 10:30am so there is ample time to have breakfast and warm up.
I ordered the French Toast … there was a fancy name for it but I didn’t take a pic of the menu. I added a side order of bacon and coffee. The French Toast was a visual and taste delight and the bacon was cooked properly … crispy!
There are a number of other breakfast options; three types of Benedicts; design your own omelet and a few other options.
Unfortunately, this was going to be a breakfast and lunch review but the restaurant closed at 1pm for a private event so we were left out in the proverbial cold. Haha, it was a scorcher that day.
Anyway, this rating is just for breakfast … the prices are on the higher end but I was totally satisfied with my breakfast. A conditional recommendation … we have to try lunch before providing an unequivocal endorsement.
Everything from the food to the service is amazing. You can’t go wrong with the price and portion size either.
First time dining here. We came for brunch and ordered the Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes, an omlette with hashbrowns, Fish n Chips, and the KGC Fried Rice. The food was amazing especially the fried rice. I’m not a fish and chips person but the batter they used on the fish was different and so good! For drinks we had their Bloody Mary which was also really good. Everything exceeded my expectations and can’t wait to try other things on their menu.
Great place. We had breakfast there and it was very good. We didn't make a reservation but we came around 9am and had a party of 12. They were able to accommodate us all. The banana mac pancakes were very delicious. I got the Maguro benedict over rice which was surprisingly delicious too.
Dined here about a handful of times in the later half of 2022 and really enjoyed my experience every time. If you're looking for a spot with a view (golf course/sunset), this is the place! Great for small or big gatherings, ample parking, hardworking & friendly staff with amazing food!
Brunch: Pancakes are a must have! Fried rice is one of the best I've ever had. Fish & chips is so fresh and flakey with the yummy sauces on the side. French toast with the Anglaise sauce is a winner! Bloody Marys are loaded, tasty and got a slight kick.
Catering: Had a couple catering bookings too and whether it's the pre-order or buffet style, there's many elevated local/Japanese food options.
They also play football games, so this is also a good spot for Happy Hour. Chef is awesome!
Good food and reasonable prices! I recently attended a holiday lunch at the Kapolei Golf Club. The KGC wagyu burger was flavorful and the truffle aioli + bacon elevated the dish. It made two meals for me. My friends were impressed by the creativity and flavor of the maguro eggs benedict and creme anglaise french toast - both looked amazing!
The restaurant has a beautiful view of the golf course, and the room was spacious; they easily accommodated our party of 10+. The service was a little slow, but overall we had a great experience.
Kapolei Golf Club Restaurant is great for meetings and just general dining in. Service comes with a smile and it’s very clean. Have your next business meeting here!
