I love this place! The food is utterly heavenly, and the vibe is so real and peaceful. The owner is such a cool guy, and the staff do good work. I come about 3-4 times a week and I won’t stop any time soon.
Anyone giving this place bad reviews is obviously expecting a service that they are not paying for. This is a breakfast place, and it gets my full support for doing that extremely well.
With the name like Kolache Boss, It's expected to have HiGH expectations of their food.
I had the jalapeño popper kolache and standard jalapeño kolache... I was pretty disappointed in the lack of flavor and the lack of jalapeño. The bread is good, the service is good, the flavor could be better.
I'll try something different next time and see how it goes...hope your Kolaches are better than mine.
I tried Kolache Boss for the first time about 8 weeks ago. And ever since that first time, I knew I had found my new favorite spot. Always high quality with a very fair price. The service is also exceptional, and it’s another reason why they continue to earn my business every time. They always greet me with a welcoming “good morning”, and they continuously go out of their way for their customers. Kolache Boss all the way!!!

In the state of Texas, we have many unique foods to call our own and one of them is the kolache. I hadn’t heard of such a thing until I moved to Texas and I quickly become hooked once I was here. I found that most places that sell kolaches offer only two or three flavors, but there are restaurants that sell many more and one of them is Kolache Boss.
At Kolache Boss, you can select among a large number of kolaches stuffed with assorted meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and more. They have the traditional cheese and sausage that you find most everywhere in Texas, but there are countless other varieties. I usually order them in pairs, then take the bags home to the family, to feast on their kolache option of choice.
I like most of the kolaches I have tried at this Kolache Boss location. I have found that the ones containing potatoes are a little drier than I prefer, but it’s nothing that a small amount of salsa or other topping can’t fix. I like the philly cheese steak kolache and the sausage, egg, and cheese best, but there is a flavor for everyone. As long as you like at least some type of breakfast food, you will find a kolache to your liking.
The kolaches served at Kolache Boss are roughly the size of a biscuit and I find that two or three of them makes for a good meal in the morning. They sell assorted beverages and there are donuts, too. But kolaches are the reason to visit Kolache Boss, as anyone who has visited here will attest. Most all of the donuts are of the cake variety and they are good if you want something sweet to balance out your meal.
The inside of this Kolache Boss location has a good deal of empty space and looks rather plain, at least right now. This could change in due time. It could be this way simply because it is so new. Regardless, the food served at Kolache Boos is good overall and it is a good choice when you’re craving this Texas diet staple.
Experienced my first Kolaches from Kolache boss and I am hooked. With so many varieties to choose from its a fun and delicious experience. The doughnuts and cinnamon buns are also delicious light and fluffy. I had some goodies packed for my flight home, all of the treats traveled well. My family back home also enjoyed the variety of items.
I have been going to this place for breakfast occasionally for 3+ years. The owners are so friendly and welcoming!
I’ve been coming since they’ve opened. The owners are super gracious and always helpful. Every year, I order “Happy Birthday” donuts for both my kids birthdays and they away come out amazing! Best donuts and kolaches!

I come here just about every morning, other kolache/donut shops lack the consistency and sincerity that is abundance at Kolache Boss. I’m always greeted with a smile, the kolaches are never undercooked or overcooked. You can absolutely 100% tell that the owners and operators actually care about their work, and put their hearts into it. I’m thoroughly impressed and won’t be going anywhere else. I’d give 6 stars if it was possible. ALSO, the pricing at Kolache Boss is extremely reasonable, $3 and change for two quality kolaches? Unheard of. I’d gladly play double for this quality. Most other Kolache places give me heartburn, but not here! Love it.
My family and I LOVE Kolache Boss! We asked them to specially make donuts for my son’s birthday party and they turned out amazing! Not only were the donuts beautifully decorated, they also tasted delicious. The “Happy Birthday” donuts were a huge hit! I’ve been to several donut places where they “specialize” in donuts, but when you bite into them, they don’t taste that good.
Not only are their donuts good, but the kolaches are just as amazing. The dough is super soft and ingredients are fresh. They have a variety of flavors and are always trying out new ones. They’re even still good the next day.

The breakfast kolaches were so tasty! I liked the little bit of spice from the sausages and the cinnamon roll was great. Definitely reccomend!
Best place for donuts & kolaches! I was able to special order donuts that spelled out “Happy Bday” for my son’s birthday. And they did an AMAZING job!! Delicious donuts and the staff is friendly and helpful. Love this place!
I like this place but I don’t come here as often as I would like to since the prices keep going up. they’re also not updated on the menu so you are prepared to pay one thing and find out it’s more on the receipt.
The best kolaches ever! PEOPLE, these are soooooo superior to Bu-cees!!!!!! Now the Buckster's has a lot of items to be proud of, but Kolache Boss wins the kolache war, hands down! So many savory options...over 15 varieties! My goal is to keep returning until I have tried them all...boudin, polish sausage, Philly steak, ranchero, sausage-egg-cheese. Oh my, the list goes on and on. The dough is soft and warm, just melts in your mouth. Such creativity and attention to detail. The sweet options look might fine also, and I will accomplish that list eventually.
The restaurant is pristine; bright and welcoming. There is even a convenient drive-thru. The young proprietors are very friendly and kind. They are working hard to provide a superior product for the Katy area and we should all go out of our way to support this small business!

Everything we purchased was fresh and tasted great. The pig kolaches were fantastic. Donuts were great as well. The staff was friendly courteous and very informative and help with our selections. We will definitely be coming back here again. This is at the store in Katy Mills TX.
I had Kolache Boss for the first time yesterday and it’s definitely the best kolache I’ve had in Houston. Came back again today. The breading is soft with the perfect thickness. I’ll be stopping by every time I drive by. Staff is also very kind. Can’t beat Kolache Boss!!
