I hadn't been to Long John's in ages. Yesterday I found out we had one in Katy and was super excited! We went today and it was the same as before!

Excellent place! Michael took my order smiling and welcoming. When I asked for his suggestion from the menu he was spot on my meal! Awesome hot shrimp and deliciously seasoned flaky fish were the best. Shay was very nice when I complimented the dining room which was impeccably clean and cool. Overall a very nice freshly cooked delicious meal with awesome service and friendly welcoming smiles 😃 Thank you. Most definitely one of my top choices for a fabulous meal out. 😋

Never had LJS before, so this was a first. Hush puppies were good. Actually, really good. Fries were good, but you have to eat them hot. The fish and chicken were both actually really good, but a tad oily- I expected this. I've been to many fish and chips places, and have to say that for fast food, it really shocked me how on point they were. I will definitely eat here again. Also, the restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I have been here a few times. There are not many LJS locations anymore so I come here when I crave it. The workers are so nice and friendly. They were always smiling when interacting with customers. The only reason for 4 stars is because it is a fast food place and if you compare to other places, food quality and taste is beyond compare but still a great place for a quick fast food.

Yummmmmmmyyy! I haven't had this in a long time. I drove a good minute to try this and was not disappointed. The fries were fresh and the fish and chicken was hot. My kids love thr hushpuppies. Only thing that sucked was they were out of popcorn shrimp. But other than that everything was great!!!!

You should keep in mind before coming here that this is a Long John Silvers "Express", meaning that the menu for the Long John Silvers items are pretty limited and should probably be considered mainly a Taco Bell location. The customer service was very friendly, we had a lady working the register for us who had no idea what she was doing but clearly conveyed that she didn't have any prior register experience, plus with her bubbly personality and her positive attitude about her cluelessness made it into a very fun and entertaining interaction. The food is about what you'd expect from a Taco Bell or Long John Silvers, except I did notice unlike a lot of Taco Bell's when you order a hard shell taco you usually have to deal with your shell being pretty soggy on the underside from the meat, but here the whole shell was still crunchy, otherwise it's pretty standard. I've been to this location a couple times now and I've never had a complaint about the customer service or the food, plus with it being so close to the Katy Mills Mall it's a great place to stop by on your way to or from the mall.

I ordered from the drive through so can't speak to cleanliness. I ordered a fish meal with choice of side and drink and 2 added extras. I was asked to pull around to wait for it. The order was prepared to perfection and the wait was for a meal with all fresh, hot, crispy items. Staff was courteous and proficient. I was quite happy with my experience.

Long john silver's restaurants have become so hard to find. This is an Express location. Limited menu. But everything we wanted. They need to improve how they cook up their hushpuppies but the fish, shrimp, and fries were all great. Missed that malt vinegar and battered fish.

I love LJS, fish was fresh and wonderful, and the hush puppies were great! We thought they had gone out of business, but we were so pleasantly surprised! If I could only buy a case of that malt vinegar!!! Thank you LJS, don’t go anywhere but up!

This location is a combination Taco Bell/Long John Silver's, I ordered from "LJS". On this visit the place was packed at 1pm on a Tuesday. The parking lot was filled, and I went through the drive thru. The line was long, stretched around the building to the street. Although the line was long, cars were served quickly, and no one was sent to park elsewhere to wait, which I appreciate. I ordered a Fish, Chicken, Shrimp Platter and everything in my order was correct, cooked perfect, and looked great! The staff was friendly, and accommodating when I asked for extra condiments. I truly enjoyed my meal, and highly recommend this location. They provided fantastic service, while being understaffed, and today beat out other fast food franchises with speed, accuracy, and short wait times! I will return to this location soon!

Food was hot and good. The drive thru could be a little quicker but they make up for it by how nice they are.

I haven't had Long John Silver's for years and I really enjoyed it. The drive thru experience was great and the only reason I didn't give five stars is that I didn't like the drinks.

To get a decent Long John Silver's experience, I had to venture all the way to KATY! (About 30 minutes from downtown, center.) LJS has closed all their Houston (in the city limits) locations except for one on the North Freeway, and that location is disappointing. This Katy location, by contrast, is far better and where I'll likely be coming when I'm hankering for LJS chicken and shrimp. It's not perfect, but it's better than the other two locations (Wallisville Rd off the East Belt, and the North Fwy near Beltway 8). First, this is a Long John Silver's "Express" - that means it's a subset of the regular LJS menu, offered in combination with another "main" brand - in this case, a Taco Bell. That's fine, because I usually stick with the basics when it comes to LJS - shrimp and chicken (and fries). Unlike the North Fwy location, I got my food in a reasonable period of time (7 to 10 minutes vs 20+ at North Fwy), and it was not overcooked (as at the Wallisville Rd location). The only thing that could have been better was the tables - many of them had clearly not been cleaned or wiped down. I've read restaurant industry articles on Long John Silver's that say the company is planning on reinvesting and improving its offerings. I really hope adding new locations is one of their priorities, as there used to be LJS locations in The Heights and near Reliant Stadium. Good food, though, as always. Love the fries, too.
