A gem in the midwest. Stop if you are in the region. The food is superb and the owner and Sandy, our wait staff, are knowledgeable about food service and wine. Would go back in a heartbeat. One of the best stops in our road trip cross country.

We regularly enjoyed dining here when we resided in Kearney. We now live out of town and consider our visits to Alley Rose to be a special treat and enjoy any opportunity to catch up with Shawn. Thank you for all the great memories and growing friendship over the years!
Had lunch there today. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal! Would've expected the price to be higher for the level of service and the quality of the food.
A group of us girls ate here before heading to the Miranda Lambert concert...it was very busy and we didn't think ahead of time to make reservations but were still treated (by who I assume is the manager) with service that was above and beyond! We were not turned away and the wait we had for a table was a matter of minutes! The food and atmosphere was superb as well! There is a reason this is my favorite place in Kearney! Thank you Alley Rose!!!
Great food and service. The building is wonderful and has so much character. Well worth the 2 hr drive.

I'm from Grand Island, all the steak places here are always full to capacity Fridays & Saturdays, because of that, I've stopped going out. The other day, I felt like having steak, so I started searching & found this place called Alley Rose. As I looked at pictures & reviews, it called my attention & decided to go try it. I ordered a 16-18 oz. Prime rib & it came with vegetables & 2 small potatoes. AMAZING flavor, PERFECTLY cooked & the service was EXCELLENT. Will definitely go back, will talk about it to friends & next time, I'm bringing my family.
Had a great experience. Osso Bucco was delicious. Very nice atmosphere, good service, and a unique place. Loved every bit of it. Compliments to the Chef, staff, and owners.
If you are a first timer to Alley Rose you will not be disappointed at all. First thing the establishment caters to Gluten Free customers. We had to wait an extra 10-20 minutes on our meals. However, it was worth the effort and time. The meals was so delicious and prepared perfectly for our taste. Their stakes was juicy and tender no stake sauce needed. Please save room for dessert you cannot go wrong with a good Cheese cake.
Had a wonderful dinner here last night. Nice ambiance, great service and good food. Very good wine list. Will definitely return next time I am in town.
Loved this restaurant! Ate here on our roadtrip to California, stopped again on way back. The salad bar is Awesome and all of our food was very good, especially the crab cakes, prime rib and salmon, (melt in your mouth) 😋

Food was superb. I had the prime rib (again) and its pretty amazing. Came with bread for the table that was herb and cheese which was yummy too. The only negatives I have is they happened to be out of soup when I checked, and I had them make me a raspberry tea, which was very sweet. The desserts shined particularly well I had a tiered "chocolate torte" that tasted like pretty amazing black forest cherry cake. Mom had( we all tried it) blueberry lemon cheesecake thats was pretty solid. The crust outshone the cake to me as I expected the cheesecake itself to be powerfully lemon flavored and it was more like "streaked" with lemon so the cheesecake itself was just slightly underwhelming on its own. This is me being extremely critical however.
Had my first experience at the Alley Rose, and I was thoroughly impressed. Not only was it lovely to have live piano playing and delicious food, I was very impressed with how the staff worked together, and the time they took to make us feel welcomed and that they really care. It's great to see regulars greeted warmly, and the owner making tables laugh as he walked by. I really felt like this was a restaurant to make you like you're part of the family. Glad I came to kearney and tried this on a whim!!!!
