Excellant rotisserie chicken and plantains. The ribs are very good, if a little chewy. I'm not sure where another reviewer was, but this restaurant never has offered enchiladas.

The person who said the chicken is from Sam's club is implying that the finished product is a rotessiere chicken from Sam's. That's not even close to the truth. The raw bird may be from Sam's, but it's cooked at the restaurant in a wood-fired oven open to the seating area. The chicken is usually very good, though it can be a little dry at times. The grilled beef ribs are very flavorful, if a little chewy. The sides (beans, fried yuca, maduros, etc.) are very good. The beers are cold, the portions are large, the prices are low, and the service is friendly.

Outstanding Latin food. The history of this restaurant tells the history of this part of Kenner. Twenty years ago it was a little seafood hole in the wall serving po-boys. Fifteen years ago, it was the Rib Shack, home to the best Memphis style BBQ restaurant in the state. Yes, the state. The taste of that smoked brisket and homemade pecan pie still linger. Popular with many Saints players, it was the place to go for BBQ in NOLA. The owner died tragically about ten years ago, and shortly after, this part of Kenner became increasingly Hispanic. Pollos a la Brasa took over the spot about five years ago.

Amongst the scores of Latin restaurants in Kenner, this is a top fiver. It's very nice on the inside, and as the name suggests, you should get the chicken. It's cheap and delicious. The service is friendly, but English can be problematic depending on who is working. Very clean on the inside.

This is the original restaurant of the man who owns the Fiesta Latina restaurants.

Road trip.. So I’m out of town at the moment. Before I left I stopped at this chicken restaurant on Williams Boulevard in Kenner and got a Charbroiled rotisserie chicken. I am four hours away and several days later and every time I stop to git something to eat this location pops back in my mind. Everyone at this location was polite and very attentive to my needs as a customer. I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be back. Good job

Small, clean and friendly Mom and Pop type. I got the tacos. I got the corn and my brother got the flour tortillas. The corn were smaller, but delicious. My brother also enjoyed the much larger flour ones. Their menu was difficult for me to understand because it was authentic. It was written in English, but authentic Mexican is hard for me. The waitress was super helpful helping me choose what I wanted. I left full and happy Me and my brother couldn't stop talking about it with smiley faces. I want to go back and try more stuff, because I am excited about my food. The sauces were amazing. The green one is spicy, but so yummy.

Exceptionally good and at a price that won’t break the bank. It’s labeled as Mexican food but more of a South American flare with a delicious Argentinian Sausage Chorizo and delicious beef short ribs! Will definitely be back for more!

Great authentic home cooked Latin meals with reasonable prices and portions. Includes several family meal deals that are filling. Enjoyed our meal and had a great experience with the best chicken tamales I've ever had.
