Everything was superb when we were there. I need to mention that I’ve heard that someone their are inconsistent with quality of food, but it is might be in a past.
The day we were there everyone enjoyed the meal and the experience of being there. The restaurant has a nice sitting areas inside and more beautiful outdoor space with pond, cozy little waterfalls and blooming lotus flowers. Our meal was simply delicious.
A local sommelier recommended Salt & Stone to us for our anniversary trip to Sonoma Valley and we're so happy they did! The location and atmosphere of this restaurant were beyond expectation and the menu was superb!
We enjoyed dinner on their stunning patio 😍 complete with mountain backdrop, palm trees and a beautiful koi pond.
All the food was was perfectly prepared and fresh. We especially enjoyed the pork belly - it easily goes down as one of the most delicious appetizers I've ever eaten. The cocktail menu was point also!
The staff were friendly, professional and made expert recommendations throughout the dinner service.

The best place to be in Sonoma Valley on a sunny day. Sitting out on the patio next to the lotus pond overlooking the vineyards is a delight. And it’s one of the best places to experience wine country. Food is scrumptious and service is first class. Highly recommend Salt & Stone.
What a gem!!! This place was beautiful and the food was delicious. The service was impeccable. We were celebrating a birthday and wanted to go to a special place. This was definitely it.!!! Every item we ordered from the menu was perfect. Definitely my go to restaurant when visiting family.
Oysters turned into oysters and apps and then added dessert. What a phenomenal menu and welcoming staff. Octopus was succulent and spicy and savory and stole the show. Duck liver pate was excellent and a good variety of the smaller and more flavorful west coast oysters that I like. The Totten Inlet oysters were my favorite and needed nothing added. Couldn't resist the chocolate chip bread pudding drizzled with caramel and served with fresh vanilla bean ice cream. Don't pass this restaurant up.
We really enjoyed our dinner. They did a fabulous job creating the outdoor oasis. The setting was very relaxing and really enjoyable. The service was very good, very professional with the right amount of charm. I had the chicken under a brick. It was crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Delicious. My husband had the petrale sole. It was very light and very good. Oh and we liked it so much when we were driving by the next day we stopped for lunch. We never do that. Still really liked it.
Nice little spot in Kenwood doing all the little things right. My oysters were a bit ‘hit or miss’ but everything else was sublime. Staff was super friendly and polished. Lamb burger was 11/10. Roasted duck salad was crushed by wifey in record time. Will be back next time in the area taking a break from SF.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at S&S. The vibe is laid back and lively, great energy and enthusiasm from the staff. The food was solid +. It’s a refreshing and “real” alternative to dining in Napa/Yountville which has outstanding options but a lot more pretension and eye watering prices. Lots of real people here really enjoying themselves. Would return
My husband I enjoyed dinner here on a recent trip to Sonoma County. The food was outstanding as well as the service. We had chefs selection of oysters which were tasty. My husband and I each had different steaks but both were cooked to perfection and delicious.
We dined outside which was a little dark but not unmanageable. We were also provided a heater. Will definitely go again on our return trip!

I went there on Thanksgiving with a party of 12 and couldn't believe how well we were taken care of. It was really great to have a big variety of seafood and traditional turkey and many other appetizers and treats. Everything from the atmosphere to the food quality was a 10 out of 10 and I am not easily impressed. Their staff is top notch and this restaurant is obviously run with a lot of love. This restaurant is a hidden gem.
Such a perfect lunch. The seating area outside is beautiful and there are koi fish swimming in the pond. All of the food was very good and the service was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this for sure, I’m so happy we ended up dining here! I’m sure the dinner is fabulous as well.

We enjoyed dinner at Salt and Stone. The salmon was excellent. Unfortunately my pork chop wasn't as good. It was a great cut, but overwhelmed by a much too salty glaze that was all I could taste. The wine list was great. Service was a little slow, and it is loud inside, despite the acoustic dampeners on the ceiling. Overall good, but could be improved.
Our luncheon at S&S was wonderful from start to finish. Great menu offerings, polite, knowledgeable staff and delicious food and wines made everyone in our group of 20 very pleased with the choice of celebrating the holidays at Salt and Stone.
I'm already looking forward to returning with my husband soon.

Had a fantastic lunch here on a beautiful sunny Saturday in November. I had the ahi tuna sandwich with fries that was superb and my partner had the seafood pasta which was gigantic, this dish would easily would feed two. Service was very attentive and the outdoor setting was wonderful. Dog friendly also as a bonus. Will be back for sure!
