Loyal costumer for life! I LOVE their online order system or calling in a order and picking up on my way home. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their burgers but their fried Mac and Cheese is my sons favorite. My husband and I love their Mac Mamas, Good Rush, and Western. Biggest compliment I can give is they are always consistent, friendly, remember their costumers. They even once messed up on my husbands order (we noticed but didn’t mind) found him on Facebook and wanted to make it right. Of course we were fine and didn’t mind. However that extra step made me the fan I am. I rather call in a order at AJs and pick it up on my way home then waste anytime in the fast food drive through.
This was my first experience at this place since I first moved here 4 years ago. Ordered my 1/2 pound burger with bacon, white cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions. Then added fries. And no drink. The bill came to a little over $20.00. Kinda expensive, but isn't everything right now? And it was a darn good burger that disappeared fast, and he brought it out to my car piping hot, so they get 5 stars. I would definitly come back.
Everytime I get a chance for AJ's it is for the Western Burger! No matter what service is TOP KNOTCH!!! Customer service always wonderful. 🥰 I ALWAYS have had great food and a great experience.
Hands down the best western burger. The gentleman who took my order was funny and nice. The lady who brought my food to me was kind. We’ve been coming here for years and I know the pandemic has been stressful..yet they have stayed level headed and kind. I feel safe getting take out here their safety measures haven’t gone unnoticed.
This is formerly Rose's Caboose and is now AJ's Gourmet Burgers. Instead of a caboose it's now an orange shipping container. It's about a 10 minute drive north of downtown Ketchikan. If you are on a cruise, you could take a cab or try using the city bus for $2. They have both surf and turf options and has the cheapest bacon cheeseburger in town. You can eat along the water front at a picnic table or they'll bring it to your car.
My daughter is working for Tongass Trading this summer and was excited to bring me here. It definitely looks like a local favorite. While waiting for our food we see lots of people who have apparently ordered ahead and have their food delivered to their car window.
So good! My favorite place for a shake and some fish and chips! I also enjoy the zapper burger.
This place was a total surprise! AJ's is a little food trailer on the side of the road in Ketchikan. The location was awesome because it looks out over the water. But that's not the best part! Their burgers are amazing! Not what I was expecting from a food trailer. They were super juicy and all the toppings were fresh. The fried mushrooms were delicious as well. I also got the clam chowder which was very tasty. The staff was super friendly as well.
The Gold Rush is pretty much the best thing on earth! Fast service and have yet to have anything from AJ's we didn't love.
