I have been twice. Both meals were delicious. I ordered the BBQ brisket taco and the buffalo chic taco on my 1st visit. Both were very flavorful and filling. Enjoyed the Texas margarita ,which has a orange twist on the typical lime drink. It was really good, and a little sweeter than the traditional drink . Next visit I ordered the chimichanga that was filled with chicken and served with mexican rice. It was a full meal at a most reasonable price. Very tasty and satisfying. The restaurant at Kiawah has a comfortable elegance with a very pretty bar at the center. Our servers on both nights were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took excellent care of our table. Looking forward to going back soon, and trying the nachos and mexican fried ice cream!

Love this place!! Can't wait for the one in MtP to open too! :) Cantina was our favorite restaurant in college so we're so happy it's making it's way through Charleston! <3

Stopped in and lunch at this location for the first time today. I’ve been to a few others so I had an idea of what to order. It’s Kiawah, so there shouldn’t be any surprises with how much things are here. I thought it was reasonable for the location. I had the fried chicken salad and house margaritas today and they were all good. Definitely a good spot to grab some lunch or quick dinner if you’re in the area.

Wonderful outdoor dining experience! The hostess told us it would be a 15-20 min wait for outdoor seating and exactly 15 minutes later we were sat at a very clean table. Our server’s recommendations were excellent and our drinks were never empty! We started with warm tortilla chips and salsa and our tacos were delicious. We’ll be back!

Only giving 5 stars because April was great and food was great. I have never left a review before, but this one I feel had to be said publicly. My husband and I spoke to our server about it, but I’m more comfortable making a public statement. Starting off amazing staff. Managers were tasking around, margs were also something with recommending. However, the hostess was running around cleaning more than she was at this door, this brings me back to our entrance, we weren’t greeting for a while as we watched her focus more on cleaning the tables around her than getting to the door. Once we were done with our meal we noticed her in the booth area falling asleep while cleaning the table.. please, either stop overworking your employees or require a mandatory drug screening. I know times are tough finding good workers, but this was entirely too hard to watch…

Hit or miss. Sometimes it is really good and fairly priced, but other times you'll get a lackluster taco without accoutrements. Chimichangas are good, but they come with rice and i got a tablespoon of rice that was hard. I took it back and showed them and just asked for chips instead. Staff is really nice though!

Food was okay. Peruvian shrimp Tacos were good but they could hold back some of the coleslaw. Service was a bit slow (was a Friday night). We were sat a table with no umbrella (sun was beaming). Asked to sit elsewhere, however, the waiter offered to try and fix the umbrella and never returned. Can't go wrong with salsa, guac and chips.

Greated right away by the sweetest woman ever and sat right away at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Our waitress was just as pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. The steak nachos were probably my favorite nachos I’ve had. They were huge and filled with allllll kinda of yummy ingredients and I didn’t end up with empty chips towards the bottom. Hubs got the quesadilla and loved it. We will be back when visiting Kiawah.

Very good tacos! Tried 3 different ones. The jalapeno taco was my fav! Service was quick and friendly, for my Thursday 3/28/19 lunch. Nice views from patio tables. Not Taco Tuesday cheap, but well worth a visit. My waitress, Sydney suggested the fried icecream. So worth it! Very clean bathroom and over all.

We've never been disappointed here! Some dishes are spicy but as they should be. My husband loves their hot Rita's!

Affordable spot in freshfields. We grabbed a few tacos for lunch. Would have liked to see non fried options for fish and shrimp but the options available were delicious (peruvian shrimp and fish taco). Server was friendly and the outdoor seating was nice.

We had a great time here and the food was delicious. I had the tacos and my wife had a chimichanga. We ate outside and everything was perfect.
