This place was great! The girl who was making the saved ice and taking our order was nice. The shaved ice was really good, I got a pineapple, blue vanilla, and blue raspberry with the condensed milk topping. 🤤 Just writing this review about it makes my mouth water. The overall vibe was cool.
Peace Love Shave Ice was recommended to us by the folks at Earth Aloha Eats. The shave ice is very good! Lots of flavors. I got banana and melon with a coconut cream drizzle.
I was hoping for a substitute like when people get regular ice cream with shave ice, but with coconut cream or coconut ice cream. No such luck here! The serving is a tiny drizzle that gets lost in the sugar syrup. Not worth the extra money.
We went very late at night close to closing so parking was easy. The gal confused our orders at least once each, and nearly gave me dairy cream instead before being stopped a second time. Not the best service and I assume she was either tired or 🍃
All of this being said, the shave ice itself is delish! I would have it again in a heartbeat.

Shave ice is pretty popular in Hawaii, so in that case many places tend to sell it but the real question is how many can serve the best and give the best service, and in that case only the few. Peace, Love Shave Ice is just like that place. I grew up in California and when I used to finish school we would sometimes go get frozen yogurt or ice cream, and those are good memories that I appreciate and I’m glad to find a place that resembles with those memories and it’s this place. Also a person who loves shave ice, I’ve had shave ice in few different countries and in different states and this has to be the best that I’ve ever had, for me it’s how the shave ice itself is made and with the great amount of flavors this place has to offer. I don’t have a picture but I also had their dole whip, and let me tell you try ordering that, you’ll come back for more. Everything is great, and being someone who loves food also try to look for the place where there’s good people with good service and here be the owner or the staff you won’t tell the difference because they all get along, work hard, provide a positive fun upbeat energy and atmosphere; and have one goal and that is to be the best shave ice place in Maui and they do that 100% day in and day out. Thank you to Kyle the family and the workers for doing an amazing job and being such kind people appreciate the hard work and for continuing to do such a great job consistently everyone that’s visiting please give it a try it will be experience you would love to talk about when you finish your trip in Maui or in the islands of Hawaii.

Fabulous shave ice stand. Friendly owner with excellent recommendations provided. Three flavors for adult sizes and two for keiki size. Many preset combinations are the best way to go for most people.
Peace Love Shave Ice is the best and only shave ice place you need to know about on Maui. Allison is such a wonderful person to visit with while she's making you a delicious treat made with the best, natural ingredients, and lots of love. Allison and her shave ice were so delicious and memorable that when we returned to the island after 8 years, we were so excited to visit Peace Love Shave Ice again...and it was everything we remembered.
I recommend the Lava Flow (coconut, pineapple, tigers blood [strawberry-coconut]) with coconut cream on top...dekicious! Bonus...it's all natural syrups crea5ed by Allison and 100% vegan.
Apparently their Dole Whip machine has the reliability of a McDonalds ice cream machine so it wasn't available, but their shave ice was good. I got the customer favorite and the kids ate it pretty quick. Convenient location across from Kamala Park.
Shaved ice was okay, not quite like other shaved ice but more of a snow-cone type. The macadamia nut ice cream has actual nuts in it. It was really good. We got the “party in the mouth”, Haleakala, sunset. The second was the best. You have to pay extra for toppings. Sit by the water to enjoy and see a turtle!
Had the all natural berry shaved ice with vanilla ice cream on the bottom. Service was amazing. They did a great job helping my daughter feel special on her birthday. Amazing little place!
Great shave ice. My favorite on the island so far. It is not too fine, but not too coarse either. Just right. The flavors are natural and not too sweet.
