Ohana Seafood Bar and Grill was one of the many restaurants we sampled while in Maui on vacation. The Crab Cakes (not pictured) and Crab Dynamite Spring Rolls were shared between our group and were both an absolute HIT! We all LOVED the appetizers (pupus)! I had the Huli Huli Chicken for my entree (grind) and it was flavorful and delicious! The atmosphere is great.. we sipped drinks while listening to live music. Overall an excellent experience!
Always a great place to eat. When Customer Service is number one I had the pleasure of Whitney serving me last night at dinner. Just another reason to return while on Maui. She was Professional, Courteous and just a great personality. Recommend for everyone.
This was the first restaurant we ate at in Maui and it was amazing! I would recommend trying the fried calamari! It was one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! Super fresh!!! We also had the Flat Iron Steak W/ Grilled Shrimp which was full of so much amazing flavor! And we also got the Ohana Poke Trio Sampler. If you love raw fish, definitely try the trio! You’ll get to taste 3 types of fish pokes.

My recent visit to Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill in Kihei was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the door, it was evident that we were in for a memorable dining experience. As we sat down, Maria greeted us with a warm smile and introduced us to the restaurant's menu and specialties. What really set her apart was her genuine enthusiasm and passion for the food and drinks on offer. Not only did she take the time to answer our questions, but she also offered interesting recommendations that greatly improved our dining experience.
Now, let's talk about happy hour at Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill, the highlight of our dinner. The Mai Tais priced at just $5 were nothing short of a bargain. These drinks were not only incredibly affordable but also of the highest quality, making them an unbeatable value.
The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with charming Hawaiian-inspired decor adding to the overall experience. The outdoor seating allowed us to enjoy the pleasant Kihei weather while savoring our delicious food and drinks.
In addition to the Mai Tais, we enjoyed some of the most delicious seafood dishes we have ever had. From the fresh and succulent poke bowl to the delicious Hulu Hulu Chicken and seafood risotto, all these are very good recommendations from our waitress Maria.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill in Kihei, especially during happy hour, and I highly recommend requesting Maria as your waitress for an exceptional dining experience. We will definitely be back to taste more of her amazing food, drinks and hospitality in the near future.
My family had the best time here. The fish tacos were amazing. They brought my kids’ food almost immediately. The music was fun and not too loud. Maria is an angel! She’s the best server we’ve ever had. Request her table because she’s a gem! We are definitely going to come back and we’re only visiting for a week!

We spent our first dinner in Hawaii at this restaurant AND OMG!!! everything was on point. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere was phenomenal. We definitely will be back before we leave.
Food is good for the price and very generous portion! Service is great and really nice live music. The fried calamari is crispy and tasty, a must try. The sushi roll was so-so, the rice was too soggy.
Service great, Atmosphere great. Bar food type place... Calamari recipe was unique and flavorful! Live music was an added bonus. Couple of cocktails and you're singing along

Feeling torn because our first visit was impeccable, but the service on the second visit was sad.
The first visit we had fantastic food and service. Drinks were definitely watery on the happy hour, but the live music for the happy hour kept our kids very entertained... Shout out to Antonio for exceptional service and upsells.
We came back a few days later to see the same performer for happy hour and our server barely checked in, missed a lot of opportunity for upsell and more drinks.
All that said, both visits the food was stellar. I see mixed reviews on here so I guess it depends who us cooking just like it seems to depend who is serving in our experience.
Worth going for the daily live music either way.
