Blackwood's Drive-in - Kings Mountain - Photo album

Once again we planned our trip today allowing time to stop in Kings Mountain at Blackwoods Drive in. Top of the order lemon cherry drop and sweet corn nuggets.... enjoy a step back in time and enjoy a real drive in experience.
Everyone was going in circles. Pulled up to order, no spaces open, so was waiting and was told that you can't order unless parked. Tried to call in beforehand, but no one answered. Pulled around when a space came open, and the waitress went passed us to take orders behind us, not in a space. Finally
Blackwood's Drive-in restaurant is an awesome place to eat. I am a regular customer and my entire family always looks forward to going there. This restaurant is NOT a fast food place. I am stating this specifically because I want to draw attention to the fact that they cook to order, which means the
I wish it wasn’t the case but last several times I’ve been here it’s either hit or miss. It’s either amazing food and service or just not. The servers are usually nice even if the foods off that day but it sucks because you want your food to be good every time and lately that’s not the case.
Awesome burgers fries not so good. The grilled pimento cheese is to die 4.. Make sure u got thirty mins to wait. Great service just real busy
Good is good. But the food used to be better. Really packed though. Nice employees. Definitely will eat there again
I ordered the flounder plate, absolutely HORRIBLE. The fish is not fresh it’s frozen battered. The slaw was awful and tasteless it’s just minced cabbage and Mayo. They only put 10 fries on the “plate” literally. Worse experience I ever had and I’m not from the area.
Food is good. Prices are competitive. Staff is nice. My favorites are the cherry lemon sundrop, the corn nuggets and the chili cheese tater tots.
