Worth a try. The steaks were cooked right, and tasted fine. It was a good improvement over the meat? they use to use 30 years ago.
If you go in for the buffet, forget it. That part was tasteless fillers. The service was fast, friendly and correct. I would like to try their breakfast next. As for the price? There are a lot of places out there with better cuts for the price. This was more of a going out to place you went 50 years ago to see if it changed any.
Suprisingly great value. My husband and I went for dinner and ordered our respective meals which cost us less than $30 for both and drinks. Then then led us to a table and, get this, told us the buffet was also included in the price! Wha? We got complimentary bread sticks to our table (which were very good) and the full buffet. Both my husband and I saved our meals to warm for the next day and just ate from the buffet for the evening.
Granted, they got my husband's order wrong, and the tropical chicken was... a little... different. It was still a nice experience! It's also attached to a dime a dozen tourist gift shops which was great for an after dinner laugh at all the crap they have to offer that people obviously buy!
I would definitely recommend it! It's great.
Good breakfast all you can eat!. I like this place for breakfast. You can have all your usual American fare, and they also offer baked beans and tinned tomatoes for the Brits. It's buffet style, super cheap. The only drawback is it gets very busy.
We were looking for an affordable lunch, and we stumbled upon the Ponderosa Steakhouse. It was a great choice. They offer a buffet and menu items. We decided to explore the buffet options, and there were plenty. There was spaghetti, tacos, meatloaf, pizza, rice, chicken wings, etc. The food was very good and it was hot too. There was a salad and dessert bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon. We walked out with our bellies full.
We grew up on ponderosa. Unfortunately we don't have any by us anymore. So when we are in Orlando we always stop by for dinner at least once. Gives us the feels. Buffet are always filling. Steaks are on point. But the people are always so friendly and welcoming 🙌

Yes it's a bit dated and tips need to be in cash but the service is spot on. The food is really good
I had a rib eye steak that was cooked to perfection.
The cashier even went out of their way to let me pay a tip via the till as I didn't have any cash.
Really helpful folk and on point with drinks and top ups.
Super friendly and a great meal for a family and very very well priced.
I hope they keep running for many years to come and will definitely be back in the future.

This place has been around forever. Nothing special but it's maintained nicely. The cost is good for the area. The staff is helpful and friendly. Quick place to eat in a busy area. Worth trying out if the family is picky.
I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, which was fantastic, and added the buffet to the meal. For the price and the amount/ quality of the food you can't go wrong at this establishment.
Went for breakfast and loved it! Chocolate Chip pancakes were delicious! Also likes the biscuits and gravy and grits! So good!
First time here. Haven't been to a ponderosa in years. This place was amazing and I want to return. All the food was good, the place was clean and the servers were so helpful and friendly. It's connected to a gift shop. Reasonable prices. There was a lot of parking but not too many handicapped spots. There's a note on the door stating that the ice cream machine was down but it was working and it was good. Check out my pics and video for more info
It has been so long since I have been to a Ponderosa the one in New York we use to go to closed for good so when I saw there was one right near our hotel we had to go. My daughter and I did the buffet and it was so good. They have so much great looking food. My favorite was the rolls with the butter on top I had 2 of them and the tacos and meatloaf it was all just so good.
This is my son’s favorite restaurant. It is always a fun treat to come here. We had a wide variety of entrees and all of them were cooked perfectly and tasted very good.
The service was amazing. Vernon was such a nice and friendly server! Ask for him if you ever go. He’s been at Ponderosa for 26 years. He has great pride in his restaurant.
We appreciate the clean atmosphere and the wide variety of selections on the buffet as well. The pot roast and mashed potatoes were so good even though I was stuffed. The soft serve and choice of toppings was a hit with my kids. I think my son had two cones. Haha
We are sad we have to come all the way to FL to enjoy this restaurant. We wish they had more locations. Thanks for the great experience!!!
Food is typical. Its good for when your looking for something fast. Dry and bland. The servers were very attentive. Place was very clean.

Wish they had more chicken varieties to choose from..but it is always great to return to a 90's classic. Otherwise, the broccoli soup is delicious and so are the meatballs. Buffet is worth coming in for...$19 and some change including tax for buffet and soda..after a long day of driving, it hits the spot. Dessert selection could be better though as well...
We haven't visited a Ponderosa Steak House for months thinking all the Ponderosas in Orlando were closed!!
but we found out that this one is still open and we Thank the heavens for it...Now we come back everytime we can and I love it even more.

The service of the waiters is very attentive. the salad bar is my favorite part of it all...
I don't know why? but if I buy every ingredient at my house and make the same salad it doesn't taste as good as yours!!

It soo sad to see this restaurant is on its last breath, they have good food and great service but everything is more expensive and you can see no Love to the atmosphere and building from owners.
