This place offers a tasty variety of Spanish food that you can eat there or take home. At night time this converts into a night club with live music and awesome ambiance.

Good ambiance, music and drinks and food. Service was also good. Definitely recommend if you're looking for dominican food and Spanish music. After 10 it turns into a spanish dance club.

This is my little chill and getaway spot. The food is good and the conversation is decent. I have to take some photos next time.

Great place to easy grab some Dominican food if you don't want to wait too long. They guanabana juice was on point. My only problem is that the empanadas are cold and not fresh. They need a better system to keep them soft and fresh.

*Great Location * This place is excellent. Has both a bar and restaurant in a very casual atmosphere. Family friendly. Prices are great. Food was excellent. Service is excellent. Staff is excellent. Variety of food is excellent. Coffee was excellent. It has a small stage and vip area for when they have live music and plenty of seating. Place is spacious despite its exterior appearance. Seems like a great place to enjoy the weekend nightlife without charging tourist area prices. I will definitely be back.

So, these little hole in the places - not much to look at. But they always seem to be filled with surprises. El Rey, for instance- a serious strip mall chicken joint vibe. Not great curb appeal. But that's not why we go there, now is it? Inside, it had a real split personality. To the left is all bar and nightclub. It has a stage for live music and a bunch of seating, making it a more intimate venue (probably hosting a lot of local talent). The bar seems small but well stocked. On the right side is a buffet style Hispanic restaurant, exactly what you would expect to see in a typical Hispanic market- L shaped serving counter running the entire length of the space with a plethora options. But what's important is the food, right? So let's get to that. I was there to pick up an order for a staff meeting of about 15 people. We ordered Pollo, maduros, pernil, arrow Blanco y habichuela. The pernil (pork) was good. As was the rice (which was well seasoned, not plain white) and beans (again, well seasoned with big chunks of pumpkin). I always love the plantains! But the chicken. My lord, the chicken! This place calls itself the King of the Chickens, and it's no lie! Rotisserie style, beautifully seasoned, and just as good the next day! Seriously fantastic chicken, and with everything else, a very good lunch for all of us. Speaking of which, our total bill for the 15 of us was about $220. Not only did all of us eat our fill, but we all had enough to take home dinner! Long live the King!
