What a fabulous evening! We had the uncles platter, steak for two and flourless chocolate cake! Everything was amazing! Since I am gluten free, I asked if they had anything for the uncles platter instead of bread and the chef made me some of the most incredible cracklings! Service and food is top notch!

We had a wonderful meal here. Great staff, great food, great time. We didn't have a huge appetite so we ordered light. I had the ribs appetizer and the Bibb salad. Micki Ann had the slow cooked egg/gnocchi/chicken dish. The cornbread was great as was the lemon tart for dessert. Our server was Maggie and she was great!!!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary last night with a delicious meal at J. C. holdway’s. It was our dirst visit. This beautiful restaurant have a very inique menu and lovely atmosphere. We ate on the patio. Everything we are was simply scrumptious. My favorite was the desert. Who would ever imagine that frozen moose covered with preserved peaches and Carmel corn would go together. It is a “must havr” for my next visit.

Walked in for our dinner reservation and fleet foxes White winter hymnal was playing...my wife and I were immediately pleased. Top notch food from the best chef in the business, excellent friendly service and care from staff. We can't wait to return, this place is a culinary, auditory, and visual delight!

The best dining experience in Knoxville. I've sampled different items on the menu and have enjoyed all of them. Favorites are the hushpuppies with scallions, the pimento cheese with benne crackers, and the catfish dip with BBQ chips. Steak for two is a treat, as well. Great service each time by the staff and amazing atmosphere in a beautifully designed space. Don't miss dessert!

Celebrated an anniversary with my beautiful bride. We shared the chicken wings and pork belly biscuits as starters. Loved both. Had catfish and beef coulotte steak for the entree course. Both excellent. The steak was exactly what Tennessee in the Fall is supposed to taste like. We're still on cloud nine over how delicious the meal was.

This place is awesome. Don't pay any attention to the 1 star reviews. This place is Definitely for a certain clientele but it is for sure worth the wait. The bartender tonight did fantastic especially considering how busy he was. This place is definitely a must try.

Everything was excellent but the hush puppies, bone marrow, and octopus were probably the best versions of those dishes I've ever had. The slow cooked egg and gnochi and pork ribs were both also perfectly executed and unique.

Best shrimp and grits I've ever had, and that's coming from me. Mussels were good, chicken wings and pork belly was phenomenal. Laura was a great server and Micah treated us like Kings and Queens. Thanks for making our dinner exquisite!

The entire staff is attentive and friendly. The cocktails were so delicious and refreshing- no skimping on the pour. The food was- Wow! Well done J.C. Holdway�
