Best coffee in town, hands down. I'm a hardcore black coffee drinker, and it's the best, also usually not much for coffee drinks or lattes, etc., but had a something-or-other mocha today and it was the best coffee "drink" I ever had. ever. anywhere. The people here are cool and the service is always awesome. I bring visitors here all the time for something unique and different from the usual SB, etc.

I would love to post a photo of my delicious pastry and wonderful mocha. However, they were so good that they disappeared faster than the camera could come out. What a treat to sit in the window seat watching passersby and chatting about the good news of the day, all the while hearing the gentle noises of the barista and chatter in the next room. Great job creating the perfect niche in the middle of Old City!

Visited as a tourist on a very short trip. Had a wonderful Mocha. The two gentlemen working when I visited were a wealth of knowledge about the area with tips for my visit. Great place to read with a book, loved the atmosphere. Fresh bakery. The building is so cute with it's all original features. You definitely have to look for it, though. You'll miss it if you're not looking for it.

One of the few places in Knoxville I still go to since 2002, one of the few places I can work on my novel with hopes of being done in time for publishing.

Nice lowkey place to hang out and read or do some work. My partner ordered the latte and I got the mocha. You could taste the high quality and richness to the beverages. Check out the seating area in the alleyway and enjoy the architectural features of Old City Java!

A nice surprise, this cute lil alley. Might need another latte to fuel up for all day and night music at Big Ears music festival. Worth a visit with a friend, or a book, or that cute girl you've been wanting to ask out forever! ;)

The Lattes are amazing here.. My go to is a honey cinnamon latte. ❤ Amazing customer service too. My friend came from England and the cashier/barista was very nice and welcoming. She even gave him tips on places to visit in knoxville while he was here. Very very lovely place and people.

I stumbled upon this by accident. The coffee shop I was wanting to go to was closed. But wow, what a gem! The interior was unique and preserved well. And the latte was extremely smooth! I’ll definitely be coming back here

We loved this place! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the coffee was great! But the star of the show were the pastries! They were absolutely incredible!

Great little place with a very unique decor/ambience. They have a small case of homemade bakery items. All of them looked delicious (see pics). Several types of coffee, plenty of seating. There are two rooms. One of them has the "Starry sky" on the ceiling. (see pics)

Nice place! I was served by a very trendily dressed barista, who was kind in recommending some things to get up to in Knoxville. The coffee was definitely coffee!
