I wasn’t sure what to think about this place when I pulled up. It reminded me of a Bass Pro Shop with its outer decor and interior log cabin feel. However, we weee greeted quickly and seated. Our server, and everyone else working at the restaurant, called us ‘Hon’ or ‘Dear’ whenever they spoke with us. A truly southern colloquialism that I will admit I miss hearing in Arkansas.
On to the food:
I had the breakfast which included theee eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy. The bacon was crispy and chewy with lots of flavor. There were two biscuits which were very large, fluffy inside with a crunchy outside. The gravy was warm with chunks of sausage. It was more than enough for one person to eat for sure. The eggs were tasty, but I ordered them so the eggs would be runny and only one of the three was. Still, that’s not unusual anymore with a restaurant.
My wife had the eggs, bacon and pancakes. I did sample her pancakes and they were rich with a buttery, vanilla flavor. The syrup was warm and very tasty, but the pancakes could be eaten without them. They were really that good.
And the coffee. Oh yes, the coffee. It was poured for us and they left the carafe for us.
Our waitress was very sweet and took very good care of us. She was not overly attentive. She did give us time to eat and drink our coffee but was there whenever we needed something.
All in all it was a great experience and we will stop there when we travel through Kodak the next time.
Went today to the Kodak location. Our server was Ashley. The food was amazing and our server was on point . I have lived here for 2 yrs and today was my first time and my hubbys 3rd :) I can say this will now be my go to breakfast place :)
My wife and my friend plus me where in for breakfast yesturday and our server Kristy I belive..it was just before the Church crowd showed up and being a server down..this server handled 7 tabels (cause I counted the hostess bringing the parties..she talked recommended and kept our drinks filled..great time and would def ask for her service again
Great place for breakfast! It's more food than you can eat so if you leave hungry it's your own fault! Our server Jessica was great and our food came out quickly even on a busy morning!
Server April is the best server we’ve ever had anywhere!!! She’s been running all over taking care of half the restaurant all alone.
Delicious!! Only place I eat breakfast in Pigeon Forge area!!
Really amazing service, food is beyond amazing. Would recommend it to anyone.
We had a great waitress who checked on us like they should and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food and great environment! Been there before and will be back :)
Flapjacks cabin was awesome
Cannot wait to visit again
Great staff!
Gluten free pancakes to die for , so yummy! And very friendly, we are going back tomorrow!!!!
Yummy- breakfast without grease! I had the Townsend skillet, my husband the French toast, both with turkey sausage. The only fresh fruit on the menu is a banana :( . Still our favorite Knoxville metro breakfast place.
If you’re ever in the area and want a reasonably priced breakfast, I would definitely recommend Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin.
We were there when they opened the doors yesterday morning. The service was excellent and they gave us a seat promptly. We had several breakfast items that were prepared properly and tasted as good as they looked. This was a good decision for my family for a good breakfast stop.
Wow. So good. So much food and the prices aren't so bad for a touristy area. We left completely stuffed. Our server Sarah T. Was attentive and fast. Our food came out quickly and everything was hot. The biscuits were my fav. I got blueberry topping on the pancakes and that was yummy also. My whole family liked it.
Flapjack's Pancake Cabin in Sevierville is a breakfast haven, its very name conjuring images of warm, buttery pancakes drenched in maple syrup. It's a place where the art of the pancake is not just practiced but celebrated with a variety of recipes that turn a simple meal into a memorable feast.
With an exclamation of "really good food," it's clear that this establishment serves up more than just pancakes; it provides comfort on a plate, the kind that brightens a morning and fuels a day of adventure in the Smokies. The high spirits and satisfied palates of its patrons earn this cabin a spot among the cherished breakfast stops in the area.
Amazing!!
The food was great, large portions.
The price was very reasonable.
The staff was so sweet and kind.
Can't wait to go back again.
I had a Spanish Omelet, loaded with peppers and Chorizo and it was excellent! I had pancakes with it and they make some of the best pancakes around. There is a hint of vanilla in the pancakes, at least that's what I think it is. Whatever it is, it certainly makes the difference. I definitely plan on returning for more!
Excellent, more than we could eat, Savannah our waitress did a great job waiting on us. Prices were reasonable for this time. Quick in and out and back on the road. All of the staff was welcoming and appreciated us stopping in. 2023 our go to restaurant when leaving Dollywood!
So after leaving the near by flea market.. we were hungry. So we found this and went in. Were seated immediately . It was a bit cool inside. So we ordered and I mean in less than 10 mi utes our food was ready. That was great. The service was great also. The food was good . 2ic finished before me she loved it so much. We literally had no complaint. Except for the chillness in the restaurant. They hashbrowns casserole was amazing. Hou have to try it if you go. The prices were decent. And the amount of food was good as well. So I would definitely recommend this place to get good food and fill up your belly at a decent price
I love the pancakes at Flapjacks. They are so fluffy and delicious. I always get the Sticky Bun stack. It’s a dream breakfast for anyone with a sweet tooth. I only wish they served their syrup warm with each order.
This location used to allow you to get on the online waitlist, but they no longer have this feature. Huge bummer!
Great experience here for breakfast on a Saturday morning! Our server’s name was Laura and she was incredible. She really made our day with her positive attitude! The food was excellent and they give you good portion sizes too.
Keep in mind their specialty is in their name!
SO, basing this review on the pancake to be fair.
First of all the place was packed, but we were greeted the minute we walked in the door and promptly seated.
Our server (Niki) was very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. My husband mentioned we were in town for my birthday and she surprised me with this on my pancake plate!
The pancakes were soft and fluffy. I asked for pecans as a topping and expected them only on top, but they did NOT skimp on the pecans and Niki made sure to bring us a warm bottle of syrup and a personal coffee pot. Our cups never ran dry and they let our coffee hot.
We were served quickly and food was hot. The berry pancakes were very good. I also recommend the vegetable omelette, it was very good! Syrup was warmed!
Music was excellent!
We just had a delicious breakfast at Flapjacks as we were driving through.
There was a short wait. They told us 20 minutes but it was more like 5.
Our server, Laura W, was so friendly and efficient. We really appreciate that. 🧡
I ordered pecan pancakes and my husband ordered corned beef skillet. The food was tasty and hot. 🥞
If we are ever driving through again, we would definitely stop here to eat. It was a great experience! 😊
Note: if there is no direction sign coming off the highway going west, turn left when you get to the top of the ramp. Otherwise you will take a scenic drive through rural Tennessee like we did. 😅
Got breakfast before hitting the interstate. Our waitress was great. The food was good but nothing special. The atmosphere was real nice too.
I ordered the Walkers skillet and it was way more than enough food. I ate a bite or two of the pancakes that came with it just because I was feeling wasteful. Tasted a little more bland than I anticipated but adding some pepper helped a lot.
Overall I’d recommend this establishment.
Had a great server!! It was in the middle of rush hour and we had to take up 2 tables- one being for kids only. But our server handled it very well and made our experience pleasant. Will return! Ps. The bacon twist are super super bomb!
